After racking up 50 hours in P4, I've decided to finally do a review of it. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is the 4th installment (5th if you're in Japan) of the revived Persona series. You play the as the silent and nameless protagonist who just moved from the big city to the rural town Inaba. You where sent there to live with your Uncle and cousin while your parents are off working, When you get there, you start hearing things about murders and this thing called the Midnight Channel. You begin to realize, along with some of your classmates, that you guys are the only ones that can prevent the murders from happening.
The story is my favorite part of the game. It's better than Persona 3's since it's a murder mystery and you're always trying to figure out who the killer is. It's like once you figure out who it is, the game flips the script and you're completely wrong. Another thing I like in this game are the characters. They are much more likable than P3's were. Yes, they are basically copies of them (Yukiko is obviously a less snooty Misuru) but you really start to care for them and worry about their well being. Social Links return in this game and they improved on an already great idea. For girls, you can decide what girl you're going to date and which one you're not. You don't get the option to until the 9th rank but it's a nice addition so you can get your social link up with a girl but you don't have to date them in the process. Something new they did with the S.Links for party members is that when it reaches the top level, your party member will get a upgrade to their Persona. In 3, it automatically happened within the story, but now Atlus has made us choose which party member's S.Link we have to get up.
The gameplay has changed much, but there are many new additions. For example, you can fish, get part time jobs, and read books. These things are done to raise your 5 stats (Courage, Expression, Diligence, Understanding, and Knowledge) which you'll need in the game. Some decisions in the main story require high Courage, so if you're a wimp, you will miss out on certain actions. The battle system isn't much different, except you now have the choice to control you're own party members. Since you can do that now, be prepared for much harder battles throughout the game. The fights are the same, kill an enemy by using elemental or physical attacks, rinse ,repeat. It's a repetitive system, but fights never get old. This time, you're not just exploring one place. There are multiple dungeons that you explore this time and they each have different looks and music. Speaking of music, it's so catchy in this game. you'll probably be humming this themes while your in the shower or in school or w/e. Persona 4 definitely has the best music.
This game can take anywhere from 60-100 hours long, depending on your game skill. I'm 50 hours in and I can tell the game is about to end. Without a doubt, Persona 4 makes great use of the SMT name and is without a doubt one of the best experiences this year. You'll be so sucked up in the world. you'd swear that these things were happening in real life. 10/10

What's WWE's next step? and some of 2008's great games
OK, so as of today, both brands have face champions in John Cena and Jeff Hardy. Now on RAW, they got Orton, Jericho, Batista, Michaels, etc. If they want a really good money match, they should do Orton VS Cena at the Royal Rumble. This would be good for Orton, who has never beaten Cena cleanly one-on-one, and it would be great to see him with the World Heavyweight Title since he's got a new faction going now. If it's not Orton, then Batista, since Cena needs to get revenge on Batista for beating him at SummerSlam. I just hope they don't do Jericho VS Cena III. Don't get me wrong, the last two matches they had were great, but how many times can a guy get a title shot?
On Smackdown, they have Edge, Kozlov, Triple H, etc. I can see a Triple H VS Kozlov feud coming, where Kozlov loses for the first time, so that leaves Hardy VS Edge at the Rumble, which would be great. But I wouldn't count out The Undertaker. If Hardy would face The Undertaker and win, it would boost his career even further. So, I'm predicting these matches:
Cena VS Orton or Batista
Hardy VS Edge or Undertaker
If Orton doesn't get a title shot, he's my pick for the Royal Rumble. When's the last time a heel has won the Rumble. I don't count 2005 since Batista was basically face then. If Orton does get picked, I'm going with Triple H.
Alright, now time for games. 2008 was a big year for games and some of the best games of the year I haven't even played yet, but I'm going to talk about this year in gaming in general for me.
In January, I got to play No More Heroes, a great little gem from Suda51, who also made Killer7. It turned out to be one of my favorite games this year. I don't know if it was because of the simple premise of the game or the insane amount of violence, I just loved that game. It was so good, it's getting a sequel in 2010(WTF?).
Then in March, a blockbuster, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, took up most of my time. It was an amazing fighter, with a powerful story mode and excellent multilayer that I still play today, 9 months later. It featured, for the first time ever, third party characters Sonic and Snake, and I hope that can get more in Super Smash Bros, 4(or as I like to call it, Rumble!)
Also during March, I played Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice. I was sad to see Phoenix get kicked off as the main character, but I was happy that they decided to keep him in the mix. He plays a big part in the last case and it's was an awesome case. The game lasted me a good week, but it was a great week filled with liars and objections and trying to find out when people are lying with that crazy bracelet. it was better than Time Hollow, but only because it was longer.
In April, while everyone played GTA IV, I was busy with Mario Kart Wii. It was a solid racer that was very enjoyable. Though there was online play, it loses it's value over time. Nevertheless, it's an awesome racer and it's a blast to play with friends.
I also got to play Professor Layton in June. It not only had confusing puzzles, it had a great story and amazing graphics. The sequels on definitely on my radar for 2009.
In the summer months, I played The World Ends With You, and wow, it's by far one of the best handheld RPGs I ever played. The crazy story, the multiple party members, and awesome battle system made this Square Enix's best title this year by far.
I also got to play a couple other Square Enix games, such as Final Fantasy IV, Infinite Undiscovery, and The Last Remnant. Two of the three were very enjoyable while one was just plain horrible. Final Fantasy IV was a great trip to a game I've never really got into. (I was like 2 when it first came out!) It was my 2nd favorite RPG on the DS this year only because it was a port. Yes, it had some new things in it, but nothing to distinguish it really from the original. Infinite Undiscovery is an action/RPG mash up and it was one of the worst games I've played this year. The battle system didn't work and it's got very repetitive. I tried to look past those facts and beat it, but I simply couldn't. The Last Remnant just came out a month ago and it was a solid effort by Square. Yes, it has massive slow downs, but the game is still playable. The new battle system was unique, but it reminded me too much of FF XII. It also doesn't tell you how long you've played the game. The hell is that all about?
I got to play Lost Odyssey in October, since I finally got a 360 then. Lost Odyssey reminded me so much of the old FF games that I wish all RPGs were like LO, but unfortunately they aren't. With it's great story, turn-based battle system, and nostalgic feel, Lost Odyssey is my 2nd favorite console RPG of the year. It, could not however, hold a candle to my favorite one this year.
I got to play the Sonic RPG in September, which I didn't like. It didn't feel like Sonic to me. I really like BioWare (I'm playing Mass Effect right now) but I don't think they should have been the ones to make the first Sonic RPG. Maybe Square, Nintendo, or Tri-Ace, but not BioWare. It had so much potential, but it just didn't act on it.
Also, I played Time Hollow. Even though I completed it in a day, (I just got wrapped in the story) it was still an amazing experience. It reminded me of a game version of The Butterfly Effect. If it wasn't so short, it would be one of my favs.
Now, in December, I got to play my pick for Game of The Year. It's happens to be my new favorite RPG on the PS2, beating Nocturne. It's Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. I could tlak about his game for days upon days, but I won't. I'll just say this: If you have a Playstation 2 0r 3, like JRPGs, a deep battle system, likeable characters, and have a lot of time on your hands, there is no reason you shouldn't play Persona 4. If know I didn't play MGS4, GTA IV, Fallout 3 (yet) , LittleBigPlanet, or any other big titles like that, I'm 100% sure that no game would take as much time as Persona 4 has (42 hours and rising!)
Well, that's my year. My top 3 games (that I've played) are:
1. Persona 4
2. No More Heroes
3. The World Ends With You
Some games I'm looking forward to next year are:
MadWorld, Fragile, Arc Rise Fantasia, Final Fantasy 13, any Kingdom Hearts spin offs, Star Ocean IV, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5 (GOTY probably for next year), Dragon Quest V DS, Professor Layton sequels, and any other Atlus RPG.
Games I've beaten this year: No More Heroes, LifeSigns, Disaster Report, AR Tonelico 1, Super Mario Galaxy, The World Ends With You, Persona 3:FES (Journey and Answer), The Godfather, Little League World Series Baseball 2008, Final Fantasy IV, Simpsons Game, From the Abyss, Assassin's Creed, Saints Row, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Eternal Sonata, Time Hollow, Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice, Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbados Treasure. This list will probably grow as I remember what else I played and as I finsih up some other games, such as Persona 4, Blue Dragon, Enchanted Arms, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect. Well, the year of 2008 gaming is almost over, but I'm looking forward to 2009!

What a week
It's really been one hell of a week! Last Monday, I got Enchanted Arms and Naruto: Rise of a Ninja from GameFly and both awesome games. Then, on Tuesday, I get my pick for GOTY, Persona 4, which is an amazingly deep game that no other game has come close to matching. Everything really comes together in that game and it's a huge step forward in the series. If they do make a Persona 5, it's going to be really hard to top this one as there's not that much to improve on. I got really into P4 this week, spending nearly 35 hours in my first week. At this rate, I'll have it beat by Christmas, which I don't want but, hey, I can't not play that game. The game makes me start liking the characters, as if they were real or something and this has to be one of the funniest games I've ever played. The only complain I have with this game is that they took out the fusion spells from the last one, so I can't spam Armageddon in the hardest dungeon. Speaking of Armageddon, do you believe Jeff Hardy won the WWE Title? Man, that was a shocker when I saw that on Sunday. I'm really happy for Jeff, but I feel bad for Edge, who has yet to have a really decent title reign yet. He has 6 World title runs, and all of them equal up to John Cena's third reign as champion. That's a little biased don't you think? I hope Jeff can run Smackdown well!

Persona 4 baby!
I received Persona 4 yesterday and I'm completely blown away. It will defiantly be the last great PS2 game, unless they're hard at work with Persona 5 for the PS2. I just wanted to say something about it.

The Last Remnant
I got The Last Remnant last week on Friday and I quite enjoy it. I know it's not the best reviewed RPG out there but IMO, it's a great accomplishment by Square Enix. I'm not going to review it yet since I haven't really had a chance to sink my teeth into it, but I will eventually. I've also been playing Saints Row and I'm also trying to finish up Lost Odyssey so I don't have that much time for TLR.
I haven't talked about wrestling in a while have I? Well, Survivor Series 2008 has just past and I really enjoyed the event. In a shocking night, Edge became the WWE champion, even though he wasn't advertised for the event. I marked out so hard when that happened! After that, John Cena won his first match back and won the World Heavyweight Title. Well, it was a bitter sweet night.

My Virtual Console Collection
I've been talking about 360 some much that I forgot I had a Wii! I recently bought Secret of Mana from the Wii Store and I realized that I have a great collection of games. I have Shining Force I and II, Neutopia I and II, Breath of Fire II, Paper Mario, Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario RPG, Light Crusader, Land Stalker, Dragon's Curse, and Secret of Mana. I'm still hoping for Earthbound and Secret of Evermore, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'd also like to see the Castlevania games on 64 be released since I liked them both. But anyway, Secret of Mana is a great game to play with friends. My friend and I were fighting Spiky that damn tiger in the castle and we were just having a lot of fun. It was a difficult fight, (mainly because we didn't know you could shoot him with the bow when he did those fire attacks) but we prevailed! We're stuck on that damn fire orc right now, but I know we'll win. Well, just wanted to rant on my VC collection. Peace

In School Right Now
Right now I'm in school and I'm probably not suppose to be posting now, but I don't care. 360 reviews coming up later. I'm blocked out of the site I'm suppose to be working on so I'll post it now. Eternal Sonata is made by Namco-Bandai and it reminds me of the Tales series battle system. It's a turn based action RPG. There are no random encouters, all the enemies are seen walking around and you approach the ones you want to fight. You get 10 party members throughout the whole game and all play very different. You have Polka, who uses an umbrella, Allegretto uses a sword, and Chopin uses his baton. Basically, you're playing a dream that was created by Chopin on his deathbed. In the world, mineral powder is the best stuff around. It cures your aliments, but it turns you into a monster and the government is reaping in on it. Count Waltz is the man behind it all and you want to stop him. The story, for a JRPG, is very weak. The game is also so linear. There is no backtracking at all and that's a real shame. I missed a sidequest early in the game and now I'll have to play through it all again to do it. If you're not quick on the draw, the story will lose you'll have no more interest. The game does have an overall message, but I guess I didn't pick it up. I just completed ES this morning, and I gotta tell you, the ending is crazy. It's so strange, I can't describe it. It makes you think about everyone's purpose in life, I guess. And if you're looking for an epic last boss battle, look elsewhere. ES will take you at least 20-30 hours to complete. It took me 29 and I did the optional dungeon, which took 5 hours itself. The graphics in this game are breath taking, It's as artistic as any painting and it was a joy to look at and play. All in all, ES nails the gameplay and has amazing graphics, but the story didn't hook me and it's pretty short for a RPG. If you got a 360 and love RPGs, pick this up. You'll need it for your collection anyway. I even recommend this to fighting game fans, since that what it really is. My score would be an 8.6/10. I'll talk about Lost Odyssey next and then Infinite Undiscovery. After that, the action game get it scored. Until next time.

Blue Dragon
I've played 10 hours of Blue Dragon and it's an awesome RPG. It really gives off the sense of nostalgia when you play it. It also may remind you of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Quest since the characters looks alike. You play as Shu, who lives in Talta Village. Every year, a Land Shark comes and destroys the town. Shu, along with his friends Jiro and Kluke, decide to take out the Land Shark. Their plan fails and they fall into an underground cave. Eventually, they meet Nene who is behind the Land Shark destroying their town every year and they want revenge. It doesn't sound like much of a story, but I'm only a little bit into it so far. I guess it begins to pick up later. But anyway, the gameplay is what makes the game. I love turn-based RPGs, so this is right up my alley. I also like they way skills are set up also. Every character can pick one of ten classes in the game. The classes include Magic Swordsman, Black Magic, White Magic, Assassin, etc. When you get a certain amount of SP, your class levels up and you sometimes get new skills. It's basically like the job system in the old FF games. Overall, Blue Dragon was a total steal at 20$ and it's one of the best purchases I've made all year. I'd give it a 9.0/10 In the next post, I'll give me feedback on Eternal Sonata. Until then

Xbox360 Playtime
So, over the last 5 days, all I've been playing is my 360. As I said in my last blog entry, I got Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon and they're all amazing. I like each one for different reasons. ES has the best gameplay, LO's story makes me want to play it continuously and Jansen is hilarious, and BD reminds me why I liked RPGs in the first place. I heard they dropped the price of Infinite Undiscovery to $40, which is a great price for me. I'd rather pay that since I heard it was short. By tomorrow, I'll be playing Rumble Roses XX (bought from Gamestop.com) and Condemned: Criminal Origins. (GameFly) I can't wait to play Dead Space and Fallout 3. I'll definitely buy Fallout 3, but I'll have to rent Dead Space, since it probably not that long. Well, that's about it. I'll give my opinion on Blue Dragon on my next blog entry. Until then.

Finally, a Xbox 360!
I finally got a 360! Along with that I got Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Eternal Sonata. I also bought Rumble Roses XX off the Internet since I couldn't find it in stores. Man, I just love the games I have. All of them are amazing RPGs and I'm glad I beat FF8 last week! Now I can also play Condemned, Saints Row, Dead Space, and Fallout 3! Yesterday was a great day indeed!

Final Fantasy VIII Accomplishments
After playing FFIV, I got the craving to play other Final Fantasy games. So, I found VI from the Anthology and borrowed 8 and 9 from friends. I focused on 8 first because I liked that one the best out of the three. I also wanted to conquer some old demons from that game. Mainly, Omega Weapon and that damn robot in the beginning of the game. When this game first came out, I was 8, so my RPG skills weren't as polished as they are now. So, when I got to that damn robot in the beginning, I didn't hold back and I whipped his ass with 4 and half minutes to get my ass out of there. I felt a sense of accomplishment because my friend, who is the "best" FFVIII player there is, never beat him. It felt nice to say I had that over him. But, that wasn't all I had over him. I finally beat Omega Weapon, after 9 long years. Luck is a huge factor in that fight. Squall's limit breaks come up random, but he pulled off 4 Lion Hearts in that battle, back-to-back twice! It went Lion Heart, Lion Heart, Blasting Zone, Lion Heart, Lion Heart. This was after 5 tries of trying to get a limit break from him. After those hits, Squall somehow survived Terra Break, which I thought was impossible. and ended the battle with a Rough Divide of all moves to end it with. I was relieved to see Omega start shaking and then dissolve into nothing. What I like about this game is that they give you something called Proof of Omega, which basically tells other people you beat the hardest boss in the Final Fantasy 8 world. Thank you Square Soft for reminding me of that hard ass battle. Well, I guess 9 is next. 9, for me, was a lot harder than 8 so I'm looking forward to the challenge. Well, I just wanted to tell others that Omega was beaten by me. Oh, and Persona 4 is only 2 months away! 2 more months until I whip some demons ass!
Also, I'll be 18 in 3 days! I glad I beat Omega Weapon before than because I could be getting a Xbox 360for my birthday this year! And I wouldn't be playing FF8 if I had Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to play. Well, I probably still would!

Final Fantasy IV on DS/ WWE's next moves
For the last two weeks, I've been playing Final Fantasy IV for the DS and I've got to say that this might be my favorite one. I loved 7, but I didn't know why everyone called it the best one. I think I like it more because I'm having a better time with this game. FF7 was too easy for me when I played it, but FFIV has some of the hardest normal bosses. (Demon Wall!) I also love the boss battle theme music. This one, IX's, and X's are my favorite. I'm at the last dungeon in FFIV. I can't wait to beat it so I can challenge the ultimate boss, Proto-Babil or w/e his name is. I heard he has like 400000 HP. Is that even possible? Well, I hope to face him.
WWE is doing the right things now. I like that Randy Orton is on TV, but isn't wrestling. It's good to see my favorite wrestler every week. Anyway, great decision by WWE on putting the gold on Y2J! Now, him and HBK will have a Ladder Match at No Mercy. That and Jeff Hardy VS Triple H is enough for me to buy the event! I feel bad for CM Punk right now. All he can do now is feud with an injured man. Maybe CM Punk will face Orton's goons at NM. Oh well, the event should be good.

Thank you Nintendo!
Finally, Nintendo released Super Mario RPG for the Virtual Console! I waited all summer for it and it comes out the day before I have to go back to school. Now with SMPRG, I have 11 VC games. Now, Nintendo just has to release Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, and Illusion of Gaia and I'll be happy!
WWE's next PPV Unforgiven is this weekend and I'm looking forward to it. I hope The Young Gunz don't lose the Tag Titles just yet, as I'm sure Randy Orton will be back to mentor them. The unsanctioned match will probably steal the show and might be main event, since it has the most story line involved. I hope Kane or CM Punk wins the World Title, Matt Hardy or The Miz wins the ECW Title, and anyone but Triple H to win the WWE Title. Triple is my 3rd favorite wrestler, but I'm bored with his reign. I'm glad SD! put new and fresh talent into the championship scramble match. I thought the match was going to be Triple H VS Edge VS The Undertaker VS The Big Show VS Jeff Hardy. Would you have watched my version?

Summerslam and games...
SS is minutes away as I type, and I'm not as excited as I thought I would be. Yeah, Batista VS Cena should be good and a HIAC is always good to see, but everything else looks OK. I heard Randy Orton is scheduled to appear tonight even though he had an 'accident' this week. If he would interfere after CM Punk retains the title, that would make the PPV for me. I would love to see Matt Hardy become ECW Champion because that opens up more main event matches for them. It seems WWE loves this David VS Goliath thing so much that hey decided to have three world title matches like it. Regardless, I'm already ordering it, so I'm hoping for the best.
On to games, I recently finished Persona 3: FES, both The Journey and The Answer. That was my second time beating the main story, but my first time beating The Answer. I liked the chapter in general and I loved the fights against your party members, even though Akihiko spammed Megidolan like a billion times. Oh well, they were beaten. Getting back to my point, I didn't like the ending. It didn't have any real resolution to it. They found out the the main character was basically a martyr, and then they accepted it. If I had a chance to go back into the past, I would have done it. Akihiko said that if he could go back and stopped Shinji's death, he wouldn't. Is he stupid or something? That was a once in a lifetime opportunity and they ruined it! You know how much good that could've done? They could've let the 12 shadows be and let the Dark Hour continue, but they had to keep going forward in the present. Oh well. Well, only 3 and a half months to Persona 4, which I hope has a better ending than The Answer. Peace

What the hell is WWE doing?
Is WWE retarded or what? Kudos for Batista VS Cena at SS, but why are they World Tag Team Champions? DiBiase and Rhodes were just getting to become good heels and then they make them lose to Cena and Batista. Didn't this happen last year when Cena was about to face Michaels at Mania? WWE isn't very original when it comes to big matches. Another thing they messed up on was letting JBL face Punk at SS. Jericho VS Punk would have been a much better contest and JBL has already had his shot on the night Punk became champion so why do they continue to push this loser? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying JBL wasn't good before, but that time is over. He held the title for 9 months, but he bare;y won any of his matches. Whatever WWE. That's your call. Only 2 matches out of the 6 announced look good. It looks like Summerslam will repeat what happened last year. If you don't remember, Summerslam 2007 had a bad card, and was a bad event. Sure, two people returned, but the event was horrible. Thank god for Orton VS Cena or they would have been the worst PPV last year. This year, they only have two matches on paper that look good. Let's hope for the best.

TWEWY and SMG completed!
This past week, I've completed The World Ends With You (handheld game of the year) and Super Mario Galaxy, thanks to Gamefly. Those are two great Nintendo games. I wish I could have fully completed SMG, but I really wanted to rent something else. TWEWY was a very innovative game and it's my pick for handheld GOTY. Now that those are beaten, I have a total of 4 games completed this summer along with The Godfather and Zack & Wiki. I'm now working on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Just Cause, both from GF. DBZ is an awesome fighting game, but I hate the Wiimote and Nunchuk controls. I like the Gamecube controller much better. It feels more like a fighting game with it. I also love the Dragon History. It lets me recall classic DBZ moments. I'm only up to the Android Saga so I'm sure I'll get to the Buu saga in no time. After that, it's unknown territory for me. I stopped watching the series there, so I want to see what I missed.
WWE is messing up. Triple H VS The Great Khali at SummerSlam? Yeah, that's the best decision with people like Jeff Hardy, MVP, Umaga, and Kennedy who all could've gotten title shots. IMO, they should have done HHH VS Hardy even though that fought at Armageddon last year. That would be a far more entertaining match than what they decided to do. He hasn't been on TV for a while and then out of nowhere, he gets a title shot? That's messed up to the established wrestlers on SD who deserve a shot at the gold. I do like that they changed the ECW Title though. It now looks like a World Championship, instead of a child's belt. Matt Hardy VS Mark Henry won't be pretty, but I'm looking forward to see if they'll put the gold on Matt. It only makes sense since he'll have more contenders to fight than Mark does. He can face Morrison, The Miz, Finlay, and even Evan Bourne. The future is looking bright for ECW. Over on Raw though, all hell is breaking loose. There is no GM, so people are going around just demanding title shots. For example, JBL thinks he should be the #1 contender against Punk, which he shouldn't. They already fought the Raw where Punk became champion, so he's out. Batista, Kane, and John Cena are all confusing the hell out of me too. Batista wants to fight Kane, since he cost him the title, but now it looks like he also wants to face John Cena after a accidental shot to the face. What I want to happen is Batista to face Kane on a Raw, so they get their beef handled, then Batista goes on to face John Cena at SS. I hope JBL gets injured and can't wrestle for a year so he won't stink up Raw and I would have Orton return to win the title. If Orton doesn't return, Kane deserves the shot and he should win.
So, this would be MY Summerslam card:
Edge VS Undertaker - Hell In A Cell - That's the only smart move WWE has made for this event
Triple H VS Jeff Hardy- WWE Title - That's not going to happen.
CM Punk VS Randy Orton (or Kane) - World Title - It's better for a face to chase a heel for the title.
John Cena VS Batista - This is a match I've wanted to see for a while and I think it has the potential to be a show stealer.
Cryme Tyme VS The Young Guns - World Tag Titles - It makes sense since they beefing.
We'll see what happens in the following weeks

Bored as hell...
Man, I'm bored! Even though I have a bunch of games to play, I'm still bored. Hopefully, my friend can come up and chill with me for the weekend so I can have something to do. Well, anyway, Punk VS Batista at the Bash for the World Title. I don't know about you, but I'm not feeling that match up. Cena VS Punk is something I'd like to see because I've never seen too many bad Cena matches. Sure, he can't wrestle, but I enjoy watching his matches.
I was looking through my games today when I saw Alundra, an action/platformer for the Playstation. It's very similar to The Legend of Zelda, but a lot harder. When I first played Alundra, I was 7 or 8 and it not only scared the hell out of me, it made me angry. It scared me because the main character, Alundra, can go into people's nightmares and cure them, except for this one time where he goes in and couldn't save the guy so he dies in his dream! I couldn't sleep for days after that. The puzzles in this game were too much for me at the time also. Another thing is that the game is very depressing. SPOILER ALERT, I guess: Mostly everyone close to Alundra eventually die. There's a graveyard in the beginning of the game next to the church and there are about 8 plot holes that aren't filled. Get the point? It's a very deep and dark game.
That's it for today

First Post
Yo what's going on! My name is Marcus Stephens for anyone just reading this and I'm a pro wrestling and video game fan! (What a combination; you know I got no life!) This blog will probably never be read but I just wanted to get my feelings out in a blog.
Being a wrestling fan, I watch WWE all the the time. Current favorite wrestlers are Randy Orton, Edge, Triple H, Kofi Kingston, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase (sp?). Man, what a week in WWE it was. Kofi, Mark Henry, the Cody and Ted, and CM Punk all won championship gold. CM Punk was by far the shocker of last week. I had no idea Punk would be the one to bring a World title to Raw, but he did! Now, hopefully he won't drop it to Cena just yet. That would suck if he had a 20 day title reign to the GAB. Onto SD!, Edge VS HHH at GAB. What a match that will be. Those two haven't fought each other in years and now the two best names on SD! fight it out for the richest prize in the business. I'm backing Edge to win so he can continue his feud with The Undertaker and then maybe Undertaker will change the darn belt design to normal! Seriously, that title design is played out!
Ok, now to games! So far this summer, I've beaten Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros Treasure and The Godfather: The Game. Out of the two, The Godfather was the more lengthy adventure, (took me 31 hours to be completely bored with it) but Zack and Wiki made me think. The next games I want to beat would be The World Ends With You (if I can pick the game up again! I haven't played it in two weeks!), Super Mario Galaxy, Chaos Wars, Burnout Dominator, and Persona 3: FES. Speaking of P3: FES, how about Persona 4 being announced for this year! Just barely this year, but the game will be released December 9th, 2008, just before Christmas. My only complain so far is that the game looks too much like P3. It looks like an expansion pak more than a stand alone sequel to me. Hey, but I'm happy to get it and it only has a $40 dollar price tag!
Well, that's all I want it my first post. Hopefully someone will read this and say, That FatmanStephens is something else! Until next time.
