It might FINALLY happen...

Ladies and gentlemen, a black man may be getting a shot at the WWE Championship! R-Truth defeated John Cena by count-out on this past Raw and the GM announced that if Truth apologies for his actions on Monday, he'll get a shot at Capitol Punishment! Could we really see Truth/Cena in the main event at CP? What a day that will be! I know he won't win, but at least he's getting a shot. So, that's the main event, as long as Truth apologies. You can add Miz/Riley on that card as well. Should be a good brawl. Ziggler/Kingston could have a match for the US Title. Their match on Raw was pretty solid and so were most of their matches on Smackdown, so a match at CP wouldn't be a bad thing. I'm guessing Orton will defend against Henry at CP because after this upcoming Smackdown, he'll be the only guy left who Orton hasn't defended against. If THAT happens, two black men will be challenging for World Titles. That probably hasn't happened in professional wrestling history. I don't want to see Henry/Orton but that would be a momentum night for WWE. I'm guessing they'll do the Fatal Four Way thing for those guys. It's the only logical choice.

I think the whole Kharma situation works out for WWE. 9 months from now is what, February 2012? It will be WrestleMania season and they could do the big match in the women's division, which would be Beth Phoenix VS Kharma. We'll see what happens.

While I'm happy for guys like Truth, Riley, and Bourne for getting TV time, where the hell is McIntyre? What was the point in bringing him over if they aren't going to use him? He's got a bright future so come on WWE, use him right! And also give Punk a real feud. Mysterio again? Why not Kingston? He's never won the US Title and that would be a hell of a match.

So, Capitol Punishment is looking like this:
Truth/Cena - WWE Title
Orton/Sheamus/Henry/Christian - World Title
Ziggler/Kingston - US Title
Del Rio/Big Show
Rhodes/Bryan
Miz/Riley

That's a good card except for the throwaway Del Rio match. Rhodes/Bryan has the potential to steal the show and Truth can prove he's a main event player. But I'm never right when it comes to WWE PPV cards. Well, let's just hope Truth gets a shot at WWE Title!

Cena wins his match, what else is new?

OTL was corny, end of story. Orton/Christian STOLE THE SHOW in one of the best matches this year.

R-Truth VS Rey was starting to be a good match and then it had a weird ending. Truth hit Shut Up then got a clean cover on Mysterio. At least reverse a 619 then hit Shut Up. Whatever, Truth gets the surprise victory of the evening.

Barrett/Jackson was a match I was enjoying but I hate DQ finishes on PPVs. Oh well, guess you can't have two black mid card champions.

Cara/Guerrero was alright, but the finish ruined the match for me. When is WWE going to realize that Cara isn't ready yet? I hope after tonight they do.

Tag match, meh.

Divas match, meh. WHERE WAS KHARMA?

Christian/Orton; one of the main reason I bought this PPV. They certainly stole the show. Nice reversals, it went back and forth, and it kept me interested. Christian hitting the Spear was crazy and the fact Orton kicked out, even crazier. Anyway, great match, nice way to crush Christian's dreams again.

Kiss My Foot match, pointless. Good to see some good ole BBQ sauce though.

Another I Quit match, another time Cena wins. Once again, Superman gets demolished for 20 minutes and then gets 1 minute of offense and wins the match. No surprise there, but they could've used the cars they had on the stage for the ending. I also liked the fake ending they used. WWE definitely fooled me there, but once again, A-Ril messes up again. Whatever, it was a normal Cena wins match. Cena will either face R Truth, Ziggler, Del Rio, or McIntyre next.

Very lackluster PPV, but it did prove many points in WWE. Truth's heel turn is finally established, Cara isn't ready for PPVs, the tag and divisions are dead, Orton and Christian STOLE the show, Cole/Lawler NEED to be done, this PPV needed Rhodes and Del Rio competing, and Cena overcomes the odds again.

So WWE's next extravaganza is Capitol Punishment. I hope they still use the Fatal Four Way concept because I would love to see Cena/Miz/Del Rio/Mysterio on Raw then Orton/Christian/Sheamus/Henry or Rhodes on Smackdown. Hope so because I love me some Fatal Four Way matches. I guess Raw will tell.

Over the Limit predictions

WWE Over the Limit is on Sunday! As of right now, there are 6 matches on the card with 1 or 2 more being added tonight on Smackdown or at the PPV. Let's get started!

The Tag Title match should probably open the show. Punk and Ryan has showed tension in the past couple of months and it might finally culminate at OTL. Ryan is definitely going to be a power player on Raw someday and feuding with CM Punk could be just what he needs to get that push started. I could see New Nexus winning, but it's unlikely. I'm going with Big Show and Kane.

Kiss My Foot match. Lawler FINALLY wins, let's end this feud please.

Chavo VS Sin Cara could be a really good match. They've been getting good reviews from their matches at house shows but let's see if they can perform on a higher level. If the match does happen, Sin Cara wins.

Brie VS Kelly for Divas Title could be a last minute match. So, this is what the divas division has come to, Brie and Kelly, facing for the title. Brie wins with the Kharma interference at the end.

Barrett VS Jackson should be a fare match. I'm expecting A LOT of interference from The Corre but I think that will all lead to an Ezekiel Jackson victory, finally letting Barrett compete in the main event.

Truth VS Mysterio. I can't wait to see this. I'm loving the whole Truth heel turn and this is the first step to make him a legit heel. Mysterio has done his part in pushing the young guys (i.e Cody Rhodes) and he needs to do the same with Truth. I'm going with Truth in this one. Maybe we'll see some Del Rio interference?

Orton VS Christian will probably steal the show. Not probably, most definitely. I don't know about you, but I don't see a clean finish for this match. If Orton beats Christian cleanly, what's next for Christian? Something has to happen in this match, like Sheamus or Henry interfering or maybe even a Christian heel turn. Orton will leave OTL with the title, I just don't know if he beats Christian or if there is some kind of DQ.

And the main event, the (probably) last match in the Cena/Miz saga. An I Quit match, or as my friend put it, a Cena wins match. Cena has beaten JBL, Orton, and Batista in this match and he's going to add Miz's name to that list come this Sunday. I think Miz has a master plan and he has overcome ALL the odds put in front of him but none as big as this. He ended Cena's undefeated single match streak at Mania but I don't know if he'll end his undefeated streak in I Quit matches. I'm going with Cena and Over the Limit will be another PPV where all the good guys wins.

Well, those are my predictions. Where the hell are Del Rio and Cody Rhodes on this card? Rhodes had a break out performance at Mania and Extreme Rules and now he's not on the card at all. Same with Del Rio. The man WON the Royal Rumble then had two back to back World Title matches and now he's nowhere to be found. I guess the most we'll see from them is interference or backstage promos. That's horrible. And I picked one of those guys to be the next young guy to be the World Champ. I'll have my reaction post right after OTL is over.

Rest in Peace Macho Man Randy Savage. The Tower of power, too sweet to be sour, funky like a monkey, space is the place, MACHO MAN! Hall of Fame 2012 without a doubt.

OTL News

Well, we got our main events for WWE's next PPV, Over The Limit, which are both rematches of the main events of Raw and Smackdown last week! Orton will defend the title against Christian, while on Raw, Cena will defend against The Miz, in an I Quit Match. There is no hope for a Miz victory. This is an I Quit match, aka, as my friend called it, a Cena wins match. There's no way on God's green Earth that Cena will utter those words I Quit, unless it's for the promo for the match. Even if Miz does win, it will be a controversial finish like how Rock beat Mankind back in 99 and it would be stupid to end the longest reign of the WWE Title in 3 years just to give Miz another run 3 weeks later. So, I'm kind of on the fence with that match. I would love to see Miz win and again overcome the odds, but I wouldn't like the fact that if Cena wins ONE MORE WWE TITLE, he'll have the all-time record for winning WWE Championships. Plus, I think Cena as champion isn't the worst thing for Raw, seeing as most of the top contenders are young heels in need of a push. Well, we'll see where this goes. Either way about it, I think this will be the last Cena/Miz match for a while, then when Cena wins, he'll start feuding with Mysterio or Ziggler. After Orton beats Christian, I'm guessing Henry is next followed by Rhodes. A Rhodes/Orton SummerSlam match would be great!

Orton's the champ!

At the Smackdown taping this week, Randy Orton defeated Christian to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Talk about ruining the best moment in Christian's career. What was the point in putting the title on Christian then? They should of just let Del Rio win at ER then Orton could have been the savior who brought the title back to Smackdown, but of course, WWE doesn't do the right thing. So, Orton and Cena are the two top champions. Talk about killing the youth movement.

Worst Raw of 2011

Once again, Rock ruins ANOTHER WWE event. First, Wrestlemania and now a Raw. He comes out and has a Raw segment that last a QUARTER of the damn show. Then, what should of been the main event, was the 3rd match that aired at 10. The match was pretty good but once again, the ref screws Miz. Oh well, Miz and Cena at Over The Limit I guess. Anyway, then he gets the main event slot, which aired for another 10-15 minutes. So let's recap; a guy who hasn't wrestled a match in what 6-7 years is getting more attention than the two guys who are running Raw right now? That's blasphemous. I'm completely tired of the Rock. I cannot WAIT until Cena beats him at Wrestlemania 28. Rock, you have lost a fan after what happened tonight.

Only 1 heel won at Extreme Rules? I smell a conspiracy. C-O-N-SPIRACY!

Extreme Rules was a pretty awesome event, but it was filled with DOZEN of face victories. Let's break it down one by one.

Punk/Orton opening the show was a little weird. It was certainly a war though. The Super RKO was amazing to see outside of Smackdown VS Raw. Fantastic last battle between two rivals. Unfortunately, Punk didn't win a match in the feud, but it was still pretty good.

Kofi brings the US Title back to Raw. No surprise here.

COLE WINS AGAIN!!! Can't believe he's been dominating in this feud.

Rhodes/Mysterio have ANOTHER good match. They fought all over the arena and it was a pretty solid contest. The ending was corny though. Mist spitting thought? Come on man. Mysterio wins in one of the best matches of the night.

Layla keeps her job! Hooray! Also, Kharma debuts! I loved seeing the Divas faces when Kharma came out. Could we see a female World Champion?

CHRISTIAN FINALLY WINS THE BIG ONE! Sorry Del Rio, but it was Christian's time. He finally does it. It was a great contest, but again, another corny ending. Where was the Killswitch man?!? Whatever, Christian is the champ!

Filler tag match. The Corre will be dying soon.

(SIGH) Miz's epic WWE Title reign is finally over. John Cena, who hasn't been champion in nearly a year, finally recaptured the WWE Championship. Good TT match and nice to see an appearance by Heel Truth. Can't wait to see this Morrison-Truth feud. Good match and good job Miz. You made me proud by beating Cena last month and I hope you'll get the title back soon, even though I know Cena is about to go on a crazy long reign. Congrats Miz. November 22nd, 2010 - May 1st, 2011.

Overall, Extreme Rules is easily the best WWE PPV in years. It had a good opener, some great feuds enders, an awesome debut, and a great end to a fantastic title reign. Can't wait to see who Cena will feud with next. I expect a rematch at Over The Limit then I guess Cena might feud with either Mysterio or McIntyre. I'll be back tomorrow after The Rock's birthday celebration.

Sorry I'm not in my usual mood. Miz losing REALLY threw me off my blogging game.
