Elimination Chamber 2014 Predictions

The last PPV BEFORE Wrestlemania XXX and a lot is riding on this. Who will face Batista at Wrestlemania? Will The Shield finally break up? Has Cena forgotten about what the Wyatts did to him? Who will Cesaro swing and for how long? Let's get into my predictions.

The Usos get a title shot! With the loss of The Shield, The Prime Time Players and the soon to be loss of The Real Americans and Rhodes/Goldust, The Usos are getting a shot at the titles at a time when the division is kind of in shambles. Sure, we still have TRA, Los Matadores, Woods/Truth but WWE needs to start putting some more teams together for the champs to face. Will The Usos win on their first shot? It's tough to say. I would like to see it. It's about time they won titles and they should walk into Mania with the belts. No offense to The New Age Outlaws but this isn't the Attitude Era. I'm rooting for The Usos.

Titus O'Neal! (Dog barking call he does) I'm happy O'Neal is getting his heel turn push but it might be at the wrong time. With guys like Wyatt and Rusev, a fresh heel isn't really needed right now, especially RIGHT before Wrestlemania. I hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I expect a win from him and maybe start feuding with Big E. O'Neal VS Big E would be a nice IC Title match at Mania. Titus O'Neal for the win. (Dog Barking)

Big E gets to defend his title on PPV and it's against a Real American! Big E VS Swagger should be a fast match with Big E looking good and getting an easy win. What's next for Big E? Either Henry or a clash against O'Neal. Either would be good for a IC Title Match at Wrestlemania.

It's the annual Royal Rumble winner filler match! This year, Batista faces Alberto Del Rio in a warm up match before his WM main event. I feel bad for Del Rio. Just being fed to Batista after carrying the World Title prestige for most of the year last year. It's obvious Batista will get the win and look good doing it. He has to. He's in the freaking main event of the biggest Wrestlemania of all time. He CAN'T lose. Batista wins.

The biggest 6 Man Tag match in history; the dominant team of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollings taking on Luke Harper, Eric Rowan and Bray Wyatt. The future of this company all in one match. There's a lot at stake in this match. It's like the passing of the torch for these groups. The Shield have been dominating since November 2012 and haven't stopped since. The group's break-up has been teased for weeks and it's only a matter of time that The Wyatts take the sole position as the only 3 Man group in the company. Both teams need momentum going into Wrestlemania. If I had to go on booking, I would go with the Wyatts to win. Bray Wyatt has a much bigger match at Mania right than any member of The Shield so they need they victory to look strong going into facing Superman himself John Cena. They will win either by The Shield breaking up or miscommunication between the group. Wyatt SHOULD pin Reigns, as those two are the leaders now. Bray Wyatt and The Family win.

The Chamber has a lot riding on it. Obviously, the main event of Wrestlemania is on the line while championship gold is on the line as well. 6 guys, 3 who have entered WM as World Champion. Who has the most chance of facing Batista at Wrestlemania? Randy Orton is the leading candidate in what would be an all Evolution Triple H loving main event. Daniel Bryan is the 2nd favorite as the crowd love for him can't be contained but would WWE let Daniel Bryan enter Wrestlemania as WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Sheamus and Christian really don't have a chance this time around. The dark horse is Cesaro after having fantastic matches with Randy Orton and John Cena. Cesaro will definitely get one or two eliminations but a win is improbable right now. Like I said though, Randy Orton is the most likely winner. A title change this close to the biggest Wrestlemania is unlikely. Will we get the triple threat match between Orton/Batista/Bryan? I don't know but I do think Randy Orton will retain again and walk into Mania as champion.

When this PPV is over, the Road to Wrestlemania will become a bit clearer. The only confirmed match (not even confirmed but likely) is Bray Wyatt VS John Cena. Everything else is up in the air. Here's hoping for a clear path!

Love Wrestlemania Season!

Plans for Wrestlemania XXX look to be all over the place right now. They began to set up the eventual Punk/HHH clash at the Rumble by having Kane eliminate Punk but with Punk's 'departure' from the company, that obviously had to change. It looks like Daniel Bryan is now in the position to be the one to face Triple H at the big event as he really should have in the first place BUT that might not happen either. They might end up putting Daniel Bryan in the main event match between Batista and Randy Orton which would have a very Wrestlemania XX vibe to it. How would they set that up? Maybe Bryan walks into Wrestlemania as champion? Not likely if you ask me. If they are to include Bryan, I think they would want the pay off to be him winning the belt in the main event. My guess is that Orton retains at the Chamber but they decide to put Bryan in the match since he will be the only one to beat him in the matches leading up to Elimination Chamber. A long stretch but if they do include Bryan, it's a direct effect from the WWE Universe after the negative reaction Batista and Orton got at the Rumble.

The Shield break up will happen, either at EC, before Mania or AT Mania. Let's say Daniel Bryan does get into the main event. Where does that leave Triple H? Rumors have begun that Triple H will square off against the powerhouse of The Shield Roman Reigns. Now, that would be a coming out party! First, Reigns eliminated four out of five guys from the opposing team at Survivor Series THEN he breaks a 13 year record at the Rumble and tosses 12 guys over the top rope and now, he might face one of the biggest names in WWE at his 2nd Wrestlemania. WOW. I think I'd rather see these two matches than the others. While I want to see Bryan/HHH, I just don't see the point if Triple H isn't willing to lose to Bryan. Reigns doesn't need a win over Triple H. Just a good performance would do here while a Daniel Bryan title win would be the big pay off we've all been waiting for. If that doesn't happen, a Triple Threat between The Shield members is likely, which SHOULD be for the US Title and give Reigns his first singles title in the company. Either way, Reigns is in for an epic Wrestlemania.

I guess Cena/Wyatt and Lesnar/Taker are still on, well at least Cena/Wyatt is still good. Lesnar/Taker on the other hand is still up in the air. Mark Henry returns on Monday and I'm sure he'll call out Lesnar, which could lead to the eventual match. I don't see any other options for those two now that the major players are all wrapped up. It should be a crazy match, seeing it does happen.

This is why I love Wrestlemania season. Some Wrestlemanias are clear and right after the Rumble, you basically know all the main event matches. Wrestlemania 26 and 28 come to mind when. Or, there are the few years that really surprise people and are so chaotic, like Wrestlemania 25 or this year. This should be a good Wrestlemania regardless of how the matches shape up and it's guaranteed to have some surprises. Not only is it the first PPV on the WWE Network, it's the 30th Wrestlemania! Could we see Reigns have the biggest moment of his career with a win over Triple H or his first singles title? Will Wyatt follow suit? Will Lesnar kill The Undertaker? Will Bryan get the moment he deserves or will Batista and Orton bore use to death? Wrestlemania 30 is still 5 weeks away!
