Punk's injury

So, if you haven't heard by now, CM Punk was injured and had immediate surgery on his 380th day as WWE Champion. Coincidence? I think not but I guess the injury wasn't that bad because Punk is still the reigning and defending WWE Champion though his title match at TLC is now canned in place of a Six Man Tag match between Ryback, Team Hell No, and The Shield, which I think should've taken place in the first place. Punk deserves a PPV off. He is undefeated on them this year anyway so why not? Speaking of that, I guess we can all see who the Superstar of the Year is going to be am I right?

January is almost here which means it's almost time for The Rock to face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble. This is a troubling situation as it seems. By the time January 27th hits, it would be way over 400 days into his reign and they're going to have him drop the title and end the longest reign in 25 years by having Punk lose to a part timer? It's not fair for Punk who has worked so hard over the past two years to just give it all up and lose. While I respect The Rock and everything he has done for the WWE, I just don't see why he should get a run with the championship when other deserving guys like Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, and Cody Rhodes have yet to get their time to shine. It's insane to me. Stupid even. I know that Rock is going to get the title but I think it would be in WWE's best interest to swerve us all by having Punk retain and then go on to main event Wrestlemania with The Undertaker. Regardless of how the Royal Rumble goes down, CM Punk deserves the final match at Wrestlemania.

TLC is on Sunday. Hmm. Will Ziggler cash in? Will Ziggler/Cena steal the show? Will The Shield shine in their first match? Will Cesaro continue to impress?

It's December, which means it's time for the Best of WWE 2012 Edition! What was the Match of the Year? PPV of the year? Superstar of the Year? Find out by the end of the year!

Punk makes a year!

Two screw jobs in one night? Must be Survivor Series! The main events were all good and it was surprising to see how the main event went down. Let's tackle the big matches.

Big Show and Sheamus had another hard hitting contest. In the end, a Brogue Kick to a ref and not playing attention costs Sheamus the World Title. I'm guessing a 3rd match in the feud is coming but what kind of match will they have at TLC? Tables obviously. Unfortunately, Ziggler didn't cash in yet. Will it happen at TLC or maybe on a random Smackdown? We'll see but Big Show is STILL the World Champion.

Team Ziggler wins! 2nd year in a row that the heel team has won at Survivor Series and 2nd year in a row that Orton has taken the final pinfall. Miz had some really good crowd reaction which is good. I'm really glad that Miz is becoming a face. It's much needed for his character. Miz also pinned Barrett. Maybe a feud between the two is coming? Anyway, was it surprising for anyone else to see Ziggler win with a Super Kick? HBK/Ziggler is coming right? Anyway, congrats to Ziggler for being the sole survivor!

IT'S ABOUT TIME! I remember when I went to Raw back in December and I saw a guy named Dean Ambrose. He lost to Ted DiBiase but I was impressed. Fast forward 11 months later, he has finally debuted on the main roster, along with Seth Rollings and a guy I don't know, Roman Reigns. And they came in with a bang! They destroyed the big man Ryback by throwing him through the table and patiently waited until Punk got the 3 count and retained his title! Will this be the start of a new stable? It's a pretty solid stable with Punk at the helm and has some major potential to be the change Punk was speaking of. Congrats to Punk who will now most likely hold the title until TLC which will also pass John Cena's longest reign, which is the point I want him to get to most. After that, he can lose the title and I'll be alright.

So what's next? Punk has done the impossible, holding the WWE Title for a year is no easy task, especially with Super Cena on the show but he has done it. Now with these new NXT superstars, will Punk last even longer? What will Cena and Ryback do?

There's so many questions and no answers. I think it's time for Punk to debut a new title belt now that he has held it for so long.

Overall, the PPV was solid. The main events were all good with the Triple Threat being the match of the night. This PPV has done nothing but pique my interest more in WWE so they have done their job. Great work WWE. Thanks for putting my boy Ambrose in the spotlight.

Survivor Series 2012 predictions and other things

The last of the Big 4 PPVs. This is a big one, at least for the WWE Champion CM Punk. Will he reach the year mark as champion?

Start the show with Cesaro and Truth. This feud seems very random and forced. Isn't there a bigger star for Cesaro to feud with? Come on Christian, get better faster, we need you! I think Cesaro wins, continues to roll.

I love me some traditional Survivor Series matches! Team Ziggler VS Team Orton, I know it's Foley, but I'm saying Orton! Team Ziggler, as I said, is a bomb squad of the future of WWE. With former world champs in Ziggler and Del Rio, the best tag team put together in WWE, Rhodes Scholars, and my soon to be England's first World Champion Wade Barrett. With such a team, can they really win against the hottest tag team in years, the hot Kofi Kingston, the newly turned face Miz (more on that later) and the reinvigorated Randy Orton? Also, seeing how the heel team won last year, I think Team Orton will get the victory here. Orton will be the sole survivor, probably facing a 1 on 3 situation again, probably Barrett/Del Rio/Ziggler.

Divas match, don't care. Eve wins. PLEASE GOD GIVES US SOME NEW DIVAS!

Sheamus and Big Show should have had a stipulation added to it. I saw the last half of the match at HIAC and loved the last little sequence they had. I would love to see another one. I have two different endings for this match. Either Sheamus wins, Big Show knocks him out and Ziggler cashes in or neither wins. They both hit their finishers, knock each other out and Ziggler comes and cashes in. It's time for Ziggler to cash in. It can't happen at TLC, that was last year. It's time to pull the trigger on this. My prediction is no matter who the winner, Ziggler will walk out as World Champion,

Though I love the traditional Survivor Series match, the reason I'm ordering this PPV is to see if Punk can do the impossible. He's facing Ryback and Super Cena at Survivor Series. Cena is UNDEFEATED. As in, never been beaten at this event. Punk is at his 364th day as champion on Sunday. Ryback is hungry! Something has to give. By some miracle, CM Punk will walk out as WWE Champion. I don't know how, maybe Lesnar has some involvement or some kind of screwy finish, but Punk will win and finally get to the 365th day as champion and introduce the WWE Title on that Raw.

Rumors has it that Punk will main event Wrestlemania 29. There are three matches that Punk can have that would be main event quality for the big event and they all happen to feature superstars from the Attitude Era.

Stone Cold has said he could return to wrestle in 4 months. 4 months is April. A Wrestlemania clash perhaps? Punk and Austin is the next dream match for me. I've lived to see Rock/Cena now I want to see Punk/Austin. It would be amazing to see. Maybe it would be best to wait for WM 30?

Punk/Rock is another interesting match-up. My only objection is that Punk probably would lose this weekend to Cena and that Rock would probably have to beat Cena AGAIN, which would be absolutely horrible. Punk and Rock would make so much sense since Punk started his slow burn heel turn with attacking The Rock. I'd rather see it at Royal Rumble but if they held off for a main event at Mania with Punk winning, I'd be cool with it.

Punk/Taker is the match I want to see most. Simply because it makes SENSE. Punk wants respect. He would get everyone's respect if he defeats The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. It would only work if he continues to hold the title until April. Punk and Taker would be AMAZING, it would go along with Taker's outstanding resume the last couple of WMs. Punk wouldn't win but it would just be great to see 1, Punk main event Wrestlemania, 2, Undertaker win the WWE Title once more before retiring and 3, the match in general. Punk/Taker has to happen eventually, like Wrestlemania 29 eventually.

Punk VS Foley at TLC? No thank you. I'd rather see a final confrontation between Punk/Cena. A TLC match with a stip like if Punk wins Cena can't get a title shot as long as Punk is champion. It would be a nice final set-up to see who faces The Rock at Mania. It could be like how WWE did HBK/Taker II with Cena getting desperate and doing heelish things to get his rematch with The Rock. Maybe the stip would be that Cena can't get a WWE Title shot for a certain period. So Cena would then cost Rock the match at the Rumble. GENIUS!

So Miz is turning face? About time. I hope he has a good showing and I'm happy to see Ziggler/Miz on Main Event this week. Maybe a Miz/Ziggler World Title feud is coming soon. And after, let me get that rumored Cesaro/Miz feud. Miz going face is the way to go.

Orton is turning heel? Yes please. Orton is MUCH BETTER as a heel and I would like to see heel Orton run Smackdown. The Age of Orton needs to return! Orton/Sheamus is probably a top Smackdown feud for next year and why not? They never did it the other way around so I'd be interested again.

So, just a recap:
Punk wins this weekend
Ziggler cashes in
Punk/Taker should be the main event of Wrestlemania 29
Face Miz and Heel Orton are great ideas
Wade Barrett needs to win a World Title, like now

I'm looking forward to seeing how Punk retains his title on Sunday and even more looking forward to the potential Punk/Rock showdown at Royal Rumble. Thanks for reading.

Oh God

CM Punk is in serious trouble. Now that he won't be a team captain anymore he has to defend his title against two of Vince's golden boys in John Cena and Ryback. I have to commend Punk for one thing besides his long reign and that's the fact that this is the 3rd freaking triple threat match that he has defended his title in. When was the last champion who did that? I'm really nervous for Punk and the dream match (well for me anyway) of Punk/Rock slips further back to Wrestlemania. It's Survivor Series so there has to be a screw job right? Now that Vince is involved again right? Here's hoping that Punk pins Ryback again giving us Cena/Punk for the last time. Punk's 364th day as champion will be very interesting to say the least.

At least the traditional SS match is still intact! Now it's Team Orton vs Team Ziggler! There are a lot of reasons I'm looking forward to this match. One, it's probably going to be the starting point to the Ziggler/Orton feud. With rumors of the two to begin feuding over the World Title in early 2013, this is easily the best way to start. Two, it features some of my favorite wrestlers and also some of the best mid card talent. I mean, Team Ziggler is a bomb squad and features the future of the entire WWE. It features 3 members of Team Barrett from last year but I digress. Three, steam Orton has their last slot available. Who will fill that void? Will it be The Miz, who was unhappy with being left by former team captain CM Punk? A face turn for Miz would be very refreshing for his character and it could be exactly what he needs. Will it be some comedy act like Santino or Clay? Will it be someone returning? The options are open but it should be a very interesting contest.

These changes while out of left field are very welcome. Punk's title defense makes me very interested in the main event while I can't wait to see how Orton will try to survive this year. It probably doesn't help that Cena is undefeated at Survivor Series does it? Well November 18th can't come quick enough now!

Ziggler it's time to cash in now!

300th Post!

Well for my 300th post, I'll talk about the Survivor Series card and of course the ending for HIAC. First, I would like to thank anyone who takes the time to read this blog. I have over 5000 views so I know someone is reading. Thanks!

Now, onto WWE, so CM Punk retained against Ryback in controversial fashion and now at Survivor Series, he will lead a team of 5 to face Mick Foley's team of 5. That means a couple of things. One, CM Punk will get a break from defending the championship. Two, Punk will probably be featured in his 3rd straight main event, thank God. And most importantly, three, CM Punk will reach the year mark as champion, just as long as he doesn't have to defend the title on Raw. If you know me, you know I love them traditional Survivor Series match and it's been awhile since it has been in the main event spotlight. It will be Punk, Del Rio, Miz, and Rhodes Scholars taking on Ryback, Orton, Kingston, and Team Hell No. It's a pretty even match-up which will probably lead to Punk's first loss on PPV this year. I wonder what will be Punk's final challenge before The Royal Rumble? A Triple Threat with Ryback and Cena? Maybe throw Ziggler in the mix? Maybe a TLC with Cena? That's the one I'm most looking forward to. Speaking of Cena/Ziggler, SHOW STEALER! Book it for Survivor Series. Ziggler can look strong in defeat then cash in later in the night. Here's how it happens!

Sheamus defeats Big Show with a couple of Brogue Kicks. While he celebrates, Show hits him with the WMD. Out comes Ziggler while Big Show steps aside, happy that someone will have a title reign shorter than 45 seconds. Ziggler wins. My other scenario involves what happens on Main Event this week. If Barrett beats Sheamus, I think it's just fair to put him in the World Title match. Isn't that the rule anyway? I think that would be a very hard hitting title match.

The card is actually pretty nice. The 5-on-5 match, the potential Triple Threat World Title match, and the Ziggler/Cena all spell for a good card. Let's see if WWE can make this feel like a Big 4 PPV

Ryback or Punk?

WWE has a big problem tonight. Not only did this PPV not get enough build and only featured one HIAC match, they have the hardest main event to book in awhile.

CM Punk is 3 weeks away from being WWE Champion for a year. Ryback is an unstoppable and undefeated beast. They have to meet with the WWE Championship on the line. Oh yeah, the match is inside HIAC, so no hopes for a cheap finish ladies and gentlemen. How do you end the match with both guys looking strong? This should be a no brainer for WWE if they want Punk to face The Rock at The Royal Rumble. You don't give Ryback a short reign and you don't bounce the title around, so just keep the belt on Punk.

What about Ryback? He'll be fine. He's getting his little exposure but it's just not his time yet. It will come or maybe he'll go over to Smackdown and start feuding with the winner of the World Title. I believe it's in WWE's best interest to have Punk retain throughout the rest of the year and face The Rock at the Rumble.

As for the other matches, Orton wins, Team Hell No wins, and Sheamus, Eve, and Kofi retain. Alright that's it, enjoy Hell in a Cell.

Survivor Series to Wrestlemania

I love this time of the year in WWE. It's time when speculation runs wild on a lot of things, like who will be the Royal Rumble winner, who will be making comebacks, and what will be the main events of Wrestlemania. I'm going to do my best to walk it down from now until Mania. This should be fun.

I think it goes without saying that Punk will walk into Survivor Series as champion. Ryback is NOT beating Punk. I know Punk will win in a shady fashion, probably with the help of another Paul Heyman guy named Brock Lesnar. That would set up the Survivor Series main event, Team Punk/Lesnar VS Team Cena/Ryback. It's great! If Cena still isn't 100%, this way he can wrestle and be on the card without having to do all the work. They could also use the Del Rio/Orton feud and the tag champions to round out the rest of the members.

At TLC, have a Fatal Four Way for the WWE Title, if Lesnar's contract allows. That way, you have four different options for The Rock come Royal Rumble. It's genius! Obviously, Punk retains. So, you have the match they teased back in July, CM Punk VS The Rock. Now, this is where all the possible options start to come out. I'm going to only pick one.

CM Punk, by some sort of miracle, defeats The Rock. I don't know if it's in a shady manner or Cena helps, but Punk will walk out as WWE Champion somehow. Undertaker will win the Rumble and he will challenge the World Heavyweight Champion, which he will decide after the Rumble. This will upset Punk, who still says people don't respect him, even though he defeated The Rock. Punk starts to call out Taker, taunting him, and finally attacking him. He retains his title AGAIN at Elimination Chamber. After his defense, Taker's music will hit and he'll give Punk a Tombstone, which of course will set up the match and Punk's 17 month reign as champion will finally end, but it will end only because The Undertaker had to face Punk on his stage, which still makes Punk look strong.

I don't know if Taker will give up the title the next day or if he'll have a rematch that night with Punk to give him the title back, but I think it would be nice to see the Deadman with the WWE Title ONE more time.

Now, the World Title picture, is much less interesting, mainly because it doesn't feature Rock, Cena, Punk, or Lesnar, but that could always change. I think the title picture will involve Sheamus, Show, Barrett, and of course Mr. MITB himself Ziggler. Sheamus will overcome the odds and defeat Big Show at HIAC. Ziggler will tease a cash-in, maybe by sitting ringside but it won't happen. Sheamus will then defend against Barrett and Big Show, where I see Sheamus retaining again unfortunately. Basically, I see Sheamus retaining all the way up to Wrestlemania, where he'll face a heel Randy Orton for the title. Maybe Ziggler will get a short title reign in there, but I just think a Sheamus/Orton match at Wrestlemania, while will still probably be the 4th main event behind Punk/Taker and whatever two matches come out of Rock/Lesnar/Cena/HHH will still have a main event to it.

To be honest, I have no idea how the World Title picture is going to go, I was just putting whatever came to mind. The WWE Title picture is something I've been thinking up for awhile. Will it come to fruition though? We'll see.

Taker's Wrestlemania 29 opponent

It's that time of the year again. It's time to start talking about who will be the next person to have the honor of facing the undefeated phenom at Wrestlemania. The last four years, Undertaker has only faced two different superstars and now that both of those guys have had their chances, it's time for the next superstar to get his chance at immortality. I got some 7 names in order from least likely to most likely. Let's go.

7. Wade Barrett
As long as WWE, Barrett, and Taker are all together, I will keep talking about a potential match-up. These two STILL have unresolved issues dating back to Bragging Rights 2010. Remember when Nexus helped bury Taker? I'm sorry, but even in WWE terms, that's hard to forget about. This could work if Barrett becomes World Champion before Wrestlemania and then Taker, with rumors that he could come back and WIN the Royal Rumble, wins the Royal Rumble. The cards would all be aligned for a match that is two years in the making and it would do two things.

One, it would put the World Title back in the spotlight at Wrestlemania, where it hasn't been in some years now. Two, it would help Barrett to have that on his career resume just to face Taker at Mania and give him a hell of a match. People would start to take Barrett seriously and he would become a main event player in no time.

6. Ryback
Feed him more, Ryback seems to be heading to the main event picture now. A match against the Deadman at Mania though would propel his career. It's the same thing for Barrett; it would let people know he has arrived just to face Taker. He doesn't have to win, just get close enough to think the streak could end and Ryback is a star. I don't know how this match would start up. Maybe Ryback eliminates Taker in the Rumble and they start there? The only reason I would be against this match is because of the quality. Undertaker's matches from WM 23-28 have all been amazing matches, especially his battle with Edge and the 1st time against HBK. I don't think a Ryback/Taker would have the same magic as a Batista/Taker, but maybe I'm wrong.

5. The Rock
There are plenty of dream matches left in WWE and of course, The Rock is featured in many of them. Rock will be making his comeback to wrestling at the Royal Rumble, facing the WWE Champion for the title. Let's say by some miracle, he wins and Undertaker wins the Rumble. You have a mega match in the making there. This would also give Undertaker possibly the last world title reign of his career. This match could be a real show stealer as well and would fit with his last couple of matches of facing big time superstars. Do I think it will happen? Very unlikely with the whole Punk/Cena/Rock saga.

4. Brock Lesnar
These two have legit beef and every time they've had a match in the past, it has been brutal. One of my favorite HIAC matches is between these two. I could see Brock Lesnar and Undertaker coming to blows in the Rumble, eliminating each other, eventually setting up for the match at Mania. This match would be hard hitting, probably a no holds barred contest. It would be more like Undertaker's last two matches. I would like to see it to be honest, since Lesnar has already faced big timers like Cena and Triple H in his return. Undertaker would be the icing on the cake. And of course, we all know Lesnar is capable of ending the streak and that's why we all are glued to our TVs on Wrestlemania Sunday, to see if anyone can come close to ending it.

3. Sheamus
Sheamus has been on an ABSOLUTE tear since becoming World Champion. He has been unstoppable, no one has been able to stop this guy. This works out if Sheamus ends up holding the title all the way to Mania or he drops it and wins it back quickly and of course, Undertaker wins the Royal Rumble. This match would have the exact same build as Batista/Undertaker and probably have the same match quality as well. I've been wanting to see a match between these two since Sheamus became a huge superstar so I'm actually pulling for this match to happen. Sheamus would obviously get close but we know in the end Taker will be victorious.

2. John Cena
It has to happen right? Come on, the two biggest superstars in the company, the grandest stage of all. If anyone could end the streak, it would be John Cena and I think people would order the PPV just for curosity sake. This match would work if Cena wins the title, loses to The Rock at the Rumble. Cena would go on about how he lost to The Rock twice and to get his big name status back, he has to do what no one else has done, defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. I don't know how many people would believe that he could beat Taker at Mania when he lost to a part time wrestler TWICE, but I digress. This is one of the true last dream matches left in professional wrestling. Will it happen this year? I don't think so, which is why it's not my #1, but it HAS to happen at WM 30 if not here right? They wouldn't be dumb enough not to do this match right? Well they didn't do Hogan/Flair at the right time so....

1. CM Punk
The match to make at Wrestlemania 29 is CM Punk VS The Undertaker. Why? CM Punk started the build for this match by dissing former legends and started talking about not getting any respect. I can see this going down like this; for this to be most effective, Punk needs to hold onto the title ALL THE WAY to Wrestlemania 29. I know, that's a 18 month reign and that's completely unheard of, but it just makes more sense if done like that. Punk beats Cena again cleanly, Punk beats Rock and The Undertaker wins the Rumble. Undertaker goes after the World Champion, whoever that is and Punk feels disrespected, so he calls out The Undertaker and attacks, which would set the match up.

Punk deserves this match. He's worked very hard since July 2011 and the ultimate reward would be to defend the title he's held for 18 months then to face the biggest superstar in WWE and try to end the streak. It would show WWE has faith in Punk and it would show that he has really arrived as a top player. Hopefully it would be the main event but who knows? Will people really buy into Punk being the one ending the streak though? I mean, maybe if Punk still has Heyman in his corner, Lesnar could play apart in this but maybe people will look at Punk's reign as a whole and see him as a top contender. It should be interesting and it has been awhile since we've seen the Streak VS Title at Mania. CM Punk is the most deserving superstar to face Undertaker this year.

Will Punk VS Undertaker happen? If it does, what does Cena do? What about Sheamus, Rock and Lesnar? I think Cena/Rock could happen if Cena screws Rock at the Rumble and Sheamus/Lesnar would be sick nasty. We'll see though. Regardless, Wrestlemania 29 should be great with Punk, Taker, Lesnar, Rock, Cena, and Sheamus.

EARLY Survivor Series card

So I know Hell in a Cell hasn't even happened yet, but that won't stop be from thinking up the last big PPV card of the year. I got some reasonable choices here.

I think the main event has to feature both John Cena and CM Punk. The Rock will be facing the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble. It has to be a high profile match and these are the two top draws in WWE. I think WWE are going to keep Cena off the HIAC card so he can rest and be healthly for his huge match at Survivor Series. What type of match should they have? The only match worthy of ending this feud; a 1 hour Ironman match. It fits with the whole survivor gimmick right? And we haven't seen an Ironman match since 2009, it's time for another one. Punk would have had the title for a year then and I think it would be poetic if it would end where it began. Plus, it could set up Punk/Rock at Mania. So, yes, I'm going to say John Cena will face WWE Champion CM Punk at Survivor Series in a Ironman match.

Sheamus and Big Show aren't going to have a one shot match unfortunately and have saying he will cash in at HIAC, I just don't see Ziggler becoming champion just yet. My dream match? Sheamus/Big Show/Barrett, triple threat. Nice hard hitting match-up. Sheamus could retain and set up the cash in. Unless WWE is going the other way at HIAC and actually have Ziggler cash in, that would chance everything. I just think Sheamus and Show are going to have more than one PPV title match unfortunately. For the World Title picture, I'm just going to say I'm expecting a match featuring but not limited to Big Show and Sheamus.

A traditional tag match is a must and I know the team captains! Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio! Their partners? There are a lot of choices especially with the growing tag division. I think Orton will get Mysterio and Cara definitely. His other two I'm undecided on. It's either Bryan and Kane or Marella and whoever will be feuding with Miz. Del Rio gets the Prime Time Players definitely and his other two are the same. Either Rhodes Scholars or Cesaro and Miz. I mean, if you have an Ironman match on the card, you mind as well put all your champions in one match. Maybe even Ryback and Barrett could get involved? I don't know, but the ones I'm definitely predicting for this match are Orton, Mysterio, Cara, Del Rio, and the PTP.

Well, that's it for now. Here's the short version.

Punk/Cena Ironman Match
Match featuring Sheamus/Big Show. Open for Barrett/Ziggler
Traditonal Survivor Series match. Orton captains with Mysterio, Cara, and either Team Hell No or Marella and Brodus Clay (?) VS Del Rio captains with The Prime Time Players, and either Rhodes Scholars or Cesaro and Miz

So, if I think Cena won't compete at HIAC, who do I think will replace him? Hmmmmm, I don't think it will be Ryback. I'd like to see Orton or Mysterio fill in, but it just wouldn't be a HIAC match without so real bad blood. WWE is in a real jam here...

Whoops

Been gone for a while, sorry everyone. A lot has happened since I last post huh? Punk and Cena had a fantastic contest, the tag division is coming back, and Kane and Bryan won the titles. What an interesting time in WWE. It seems WWE is trying with the tag division and I'm very impressed of the teams that are coming out, like Gabriel and Kidd, a good combination of high flying and great technical wrestling ability, these guys can go far together. Plus, they aren't being used correctly so putting them together is a smart move. The combination of Slater, Mahal, and McIntyre interests me A LOT. There is so much potential between these guys it's freaking crazy. All of these guys could be big time players in WWE if this goes right. Hopefully WWE uses them right. Rhodes Scholars is the team I'm most on the fence about. Sure, it's good exposure for Sandow as he gets closer and closer to becoming a superstar in WWE but Rhodes is getting a knock down isn't he? Isn't this the guy who held the IC Title for more than half a year? It's a crime that he isn't featured in the World Title picture but maybe we'll get a great Sandow/Rhodes feud afterwards huh?

I'm really impressed that WWE saw an issue and decided to do something about it. These teams, along with Kane/Bryan, Kofi/Truth, The Usos, Primo/Epico, Mysterio/Cara and the Prime Time Players, will definitely bring life to the dead tag team division. Not only will this get more time for people who deserve it, it will show that when WWE tries hard enough, they can do what they want.

Cena is injured, will he make Hell in a Cell? And what was WWE teasing with Ryback and Punk? They aren't going to thrust Ryback straight into the WWE Title picture are they? They better not as my boy Wade Barrett should be next in line for a title shot in either division, be it WWE or World Title. I'd like to see Barrett/Ryback pretty soon though, that would be a nice hard hitting feud. And what's with Big Show getting a title match OUT OF NOWHERE? I'm guessing Ziggler is going to try and cash in after HIAC? It would make sense right?

That was my random post for a while. Hopefully, I'll be posting more frequently soon

SummerSlam result and some random thoughts

Yes, I'm basically a week late but I thought SummerSlam was ok, not better than last year's amazing show. I'm not going to go match by match but I just want to focus on the bigger moments of the show.

Well, Antonio Cesaro got his first taste of WWE gold in the form of the United States Championship. Sure, it's the lowest title he could have won, but it's a title! Is this the beginning of an amazing career for the young upstart? I hope so. I didn't see any of his work in ROH, but you all know I'm heel follower so I'm on the bandwagon. Maybe some matches against Christian or some other mid-carder would boost him up.

Jericho and Ziggler had a good match-up but it could haven been much better. Why would they only get 13 minutes? Why not give them 20? They deserved it. This could have been so much more but without the proper time, Ziggler and Jericho couldn't show the true potential of this match. Jericho wins here but Ziggler wins on Raw and takes Jericho out of the WWE. Worst comeback for him. He did do his job though. He managed to push Sheamus, Punk, and Ziggler ALL in one return so maybe it wasn't that bad of a comeback after all.

Sheamus screws Del Rio out of a match and now we get ANOTHER match between the two at Night of Champions. This is the Orton/Christian of 2012! Why do they keeping giving Del Rio shots when they have a guy like Rhodes just waiting to break out? The way Smackdown ended makes me believe a Fatal Four Way is coming but maybe not. I wonder who will face off in the Hell in a Cell in October? I mean, I know it's 2 months away but you gotta think of this stuff in ahead. Ziggler/Sheamus isn't HIAC calibur. I'll say it or type it I guess, until I'm blue in the face, they MUST MUST MUST do Wade Barrett VS Sheamus. This is the PERFECT feud to have in the HIAC. Hell, it's the perfect feud to have until 2013. Wade Barrett is going to get that push when he comes back so it's just a matter of time before we do see this match-up.

CM PUNK! His heel turn continues! And so does his going to be 10 MONTH title reign. Well, it's going to be coming to an end soon. Punk has challenged John Cena at Night of Champions for his WWE Championship, which is very bad for the 10 month reign champion. First and foremost, he's facing the face of the WWE for the biggest prize in the company. Second, CM Punk is now a heel. Third, he's had the belt for 10 months. 10 months. Fourth and probably most importantly, John Cena hasn't held the WWE Championship since October 2011. That's almost 11 months. That's blasphemy for WWE. Blasphemy! And lastly, Night of Champions takes place in Boston, right near Cena's hometown. Remember when Punk faced Cena in Chicago? You know, the match of the WWE PG era? Regardless, I'm looking forward to the match as it should be an absolute classic as these two guys have barely interacted with each other since 2011. I know Punk's reign is going to end. I just don't want it to be by Cena.

Lesnar beat Triple H as expected and now WWE teases that Triple H is going to retire from in-ring performance. It would be about time but I don't think The Game is done just yet. And now that Lesnar has his first victory since coming back, let the rumors begin of Taker/Lesnar. I'd rather see Taker/Cena but I think we'll have to wait until 2014 for that one. I think it's going to be Lesnar/Taker, Cena/Rock, Punk/Sheamus. Gotta have a 3rd one though, triple main events always happen. Maybe Punk/Rock, Cena/Taker, Lesnar/Sheamus? That would be better right? Especially Lesnar/Sheamus. I think the 3 main events at Wrestlemania are going to involve those six. CM Punk, John Cena, Sheamus, The Rock, Undertaker, and Brock Lesnar. Wow.

The future is bright for WWE. Antonio Cesaro is the US Champion, Miz is getting back to being relevant, Barrett is coming back soon, Sheamus is unstoppable, Punk is having an amazing reign as WWE Champion, Lesnar is still going to be around, and Rock will be back in four months. What I like right now is there are so many different options and storylines that could happen in the next months and it makes me excited to be a WWE fan. Who is going to be the one to stop the World Champion Sheamus? When will Punk become full on heel? What will Barrett do when he comes back? Where do some of the major FCW stars, such as Rollings, Ambrose, and Wyatt, fit in in all of this? I can't wait to see what WWE has in store for us in the future.

SummerSlam Predictions

This is going to be the first time I say this but there are TOO many matches on this card especially with only three hours. Well, it should be a good show either way. I hope. Let's break it down!

Santino is on the pre show again! This time, he faces up and comer Antonio Cesaro. There are a lot of young heels on the rise in WWE. You got Cesaro, Sandow, and Rhodes to name a few. With this being on the pre show, I gotta feeling that Santino will retain. Maybe if this was on the main card or Raw, Cesaro would have a chance but not this Sunday.

Opening match? Start with the IC Title match. Just like Cena and Punk, Miz and Mysterio were involved together at last year's SummerSlam. This time, it's over the IC Title. Miz just won the championship and I don't think they should take it off of him unless he's getting the push towards the main event, which I don't see just yet. This could be a very fast paced IC Title match and since coming back, it looks like Miz has stepped up his game. I'm going with Miz to retain in a good opening match.

Kane and Daniel Bryan is another one that could be a good match. It's pointless, but could be a good match regardless. Bryan is going to lose as AJ continues to mess with him. I wonder what's next for Bryan after this? I would love to see Bryan/Jericho but Jericho is going away after this isn't he? Anyway, Kane wins.

The Prime Time Playas get another shot at Kofi and Truth. With the loss of AW, this team has loss their luster. I still like them though and I hope their push isn't stopped because of AW. I think the PTP could be the breath of fresh air needed in the tag team scene. It could be the start of the future for the division. Will they defeat Kofi and Truth? No, I don't think so. Kofi and Truth retain. Maybe move onto Reks and Hawkins.

Stay with me on this one. Sheamus is going to face Del Rio for the World Championship. I have two different scenarios for this match. In both, Del Rio loses. In the first one, the more likely, what if after Sheamus defeats Del Rio in a ok match, Booker T tells Sheamus that he has one more opponent for the World Title, turning Booker T into a heel GM, which WWE desperately needs and goes along with the current storyline anyway. Anyway, out comes either Mark Henry or my favorite, Wade Barrett and defeats Sheamus for the World Championship. Either one of these feuds would make for a good Hell in a Cell in October.

My other scenario sees Sheamus defeating Del Rio and afterwards, Del Rio assaults Sheamus, leaving him wide open for Mr. Money in the Bank, who cashes in and still hasn't had his match yet, so that makes Ziggler VS Jericho for the World Championship and also goes with the storyline with Ziggler claiming Jericho can't win the big one.

Regardless of what happens, Sheamus will retain over Alberto Del Rio. Will he leave the Staples Center as World Champion? I don't know about that one.

The Show-Off VS The Best in the World at Everything He Does will be one of the greatest matches in SummerSlam history. The hardest working in the WWE and the future World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler has A LOT to prove in this one. This is his first big feud before becoming World Champion. If he can't beat Jericho, who has been on a losing streak, how can he beat the hottest World Champion since Super Cena? Needless to say, Jericho needs a PPV victory. He's been beaten at every one so far. If Jericho leaves with no PPV victories, it will be a failed return. I'm really looking forward to this match. As WWE fans' we've been treated to some amazing dream match-ups this year, like Punk/Jericho, Ziggler/Punk, Bryan/Punk and now Jericho/Punk. We only need Bryan/Jericho and a Fatal Four Way and we'll be set. I think Jericho is intent on pushing the young talent so I'm going with Ziggler to win here.

The Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship! CM Punk, 9 month WWE Title reign. Are you kidding me? That's unheard of in today's WWE. With that length, any time Punk defends his title, I get nervous. And I get especially nervous now that he faces two legimate guys who can take it from him, Big Show and Cena. Cena hasn't held the title in 10 months while Show hasn't been World Champion since December. I don't think WWE will give Big Show the title so it's between Punk and Cena. One of those two will face Rock at the Rumble. I just don't think Cena will win the title until they get to his hometown at Night of Champions so I think Punk will retain in a shady manner. That should be a good main event at NOC.

Lesnar and Triple H will obviously get the main event. I hope that a stipulation will be put onto the match. This battle is way too personal to not have a stipulation. I don't care what anyone says, Brock Lesnar needs to defeat Triple H. How are you a beast but can't win any matches. I hope it's a great fight and main event, but Lesnar HAS TO WIN.

There it is, my SummerSlam predictions. Heels look to dominate at the biggest PPV of the summer. I'm really pulling for Barrett to appear though. Where are Christian, Rhodes, Orton, and Sandow? I think a Orton/Sandow feud down the line could be amazing.

Anyway, can't wait until Sunday for Ziggler/Jericho and to see how the World Title picture goes.

Raw 1000 reaction

Not a bad show ladies and gentlemen. Actually, it was good. Let's talk about the show.

Seeing ALL of DX minus Chyna again was a nice treat to start off the show. It was like a big group of friends from high school getting back together again after so many years of being apart. The inside jokes were great and they still have chemistry all these years later. WWE must have some type of faith in Damien Sandow if they would let him interrupt this amazing group. Anyway, all of DX was a great way to start of this edition of Raw.

The 6 man tag was just so those guys could be on the show and get out of the way. A Ziggler/Jericho match is now all but confirmed after Ziggler cost his team the match by hitting Jericho. I'm fine with it, Ziggler needs a big win to make himself look like a credible threat to Sheamus' World Championship while Jericho just needs a win on PPV. He needs a win period to be honest. Looking forward to the huge match.

One of the funniest moments of the show was the backstage segment with AJ, Layla, and some of the people from Raw's past, like Hacksaw, Truth and Piper playing rope with Lil Jimmy, and my favorite, seeing the hand that Mae Young gave birth to 'all grown up'. It was funny but also fan service to those of us who have been watching WWE Raw their whole lives. Also, Brodus destroyed Swagger and danced with Dude Love and Triple H and Trish Stratus have another misunderstanding. Another fanservice moment.

Now, here is when things starting to get shocking. AJ and Bryan were wed to be married, but AJ had other plans in mind. She said she received a proposal from another man earlier in the day and out comes Vince McMahon to the SHOCK of the entire world but it wasn't that kind of proposal. He offered AJ the position of Raw General Manager. AJ? The GM? Raw is going to be extra crazy now. And she gets to run three hours of it every week? WWE has some mega confidence in this woman.

Bryan goes berserk, which brings out our WWE Champion, CM Punk, who makes fun of Bryan and told him he deserves it. This leads to Bryan saying he is the greatest of all time and then we are treated to an appearance from The Rock, who has his OWN mega announcement, which is in 6 months, he will face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble. Rock gives Bryan a Rock Bottom for good pleasure and stares Punk down before leaving. I guess WWE is going to give Rock his 8th WWE Championship. Should they? I don't really agree with it per se, but it will be good for business. I guess Rock/Brock is on for Wrestlemania then? Or maybe Cena/Rock again? Will we see Rock/Cena at the Rumble? Who knows what could happen in 6 months?

In another shocking turn of events, Miz defeated Christian to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion! Also with that win, Miz is now a Triple Crown Champion, which puts him with some elite company. Is this the start of another big push for The Miz? Who will he feud with for the IC Title? Ryder? Christian? Brodus Clay? We'll see but I'm happy for The Miz. Though he may not be as technically sound as a Punk or Bryan, but I like his mic work and he overall character. Here's hoping for the best!

Surprise surprise, we're getting Lesnar VS Triple H at SummerSlam! Who saw that coming? I sure didn't! Anyway, the main event for the show is now set. I quite enjoyed seeing Stephanie again, she's really gotten fit hasn't see? Not the body of a woman who has had 3 kids right? Hope this match gets some type of stipulation otherwise, it won't really make sense. How can these two have a regular wrestling match? It's just not possible.

Heath Slater gets beaten by Lita thanks to the other Legends and the APA. This was a fun little segment but I'm really disappointed that Austin didn't show up at all. I thought of all segments, this would be the one he'd appear at or during the main event but NOTHING at all. It was good seeing Lita though. She looks pretty good. I mean, REALLY GOOD> Oh, I'm sorry...

Is WWE teasing a Bryan/Charlie Sheen match? God I hope not! Bryan is much better than that but it would get him and the WWE some exporsure.

Ah, the Legend that never dies, The Undertaker made his chilling return to Raw to help his brother fend off the job squad which included Mahal, Reks, Hawkings, and others. It was good seeing the two together again but I would love to see Taker get a SummerSlam match. Sheamus/Taker anyone?

In the main event, John Cena defeated CM Punk BY DQ which means, Cena doesn't win the championship and wastes the MITB contract! After 7 years of each person who won the match successfully cashing the opportunity in, that streak is over, thanks to The Big Show. Big Show still has some hatred toward Cena and started to attack him after causing the DQ while Punk walked away. Rock comes out, gets the upper hand, gives Show a spine buster. He sets up for the People's Elbow but out of nowhere, Punk clotheslines the HECK outta Rock and then proceeds to give him the Go 2 Sleep!

Is this the big summer angle we've been waiting on? Punk turning his back on the WWE Universe? What will his explanation be? Whatever it is, I'm excited to see where this goes! Now the crowd will hate seeing Punk with the title which also means, his reign is slowly coming to an end.

Overall, a good Raw which highlight was the shocking not so shocking turn of WWE Champion CM Punk. Will it last? Is it a risky move? We'll find out in the coming weeks.

1000 Episode of Raw

I can't believe that tomorrow is the 1000th episode of Raw. I remember last year they were talking about it but it came up so quick. WWE has so many angles going on tomorrow that I don't know if they'll fit it in the whole three hours. I'm going to try to break down each segment one by one and any segment that I THINK will be apart of the show.

First off, we all know that the DX reunion is starting the show. I'm sorry, but the only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing HBK again, that's it. We all know Lesnar is going to interrupt this segment and give his decision regarding the mega match at SummerSlam. Hopefully, Lesnar will target HBK and give him a F5 or something, that would be exciting.

Daniel Bryan is getting married to AJ. I love how they got engaged in last Monday and are getting married tomorrow, while I proposed to my woman in January and STILL haven't married her. Crazy. Anyway, it's a Raw wedding, so you know something is going to go wrong. Maybe Kane will get involved? Any chance of Punk wanting AJ back? Maybe some other entity? Who knows, but I don't see this wedding going as planned.

Christian will be defending his IC Title against someone. Who though? Basing it on storylines, it should be Daniel Bryan. He is completely against the wedding and it would be a fantastic match and feud for both men. It would definitely bring a little prestige back to the midcard title. I would love to see a Bryan/Christian long term feud.

The new GM will be announced! Who will it be? Vickie? Will Ace make a comeback? Mick Foley? Someone out of left field? I have no guesses for this one, but I hope it's a heel GM since both World Champions are face.

The Rock will be making his 'return' on Monday. Yawn. Unless he's going to announce he wants a match for the WWE Title at SummerSlam, I don't care about his appearance at all. I would love to see a Cena/Rock 2 at SummerSlam for the WWE Title, but I don't think Rock can fit it into his hectic schedule. We all know he's going to talk about his pursuit of the WWE Championship so it should be fairly interesting.

Does anyone remember the Raw when Vince got beat up by Stone Cold, Undertaker, and Mankind all in one night? Well, Heath Slater is going to suffer the same fate tomorrow. With MANY legends making their returns tomorrow, who knows who's going to destroy Slater? I definitely think we'll see either Undertaker and Stone Cold come give their finishers to Slater. Heck, Rock may want to get in on the action. Bret Hart even? Foley? Slater is going to get murdered on Raw.

Where does Ziggler, Sheamus, Mysterio, and Del Rio come in at on this Raw? Will we see a cash in attempt by Ziggler? Will we have the World Title match announced for SummerSlam? Will Ziggler and Jericho continue their interaction, which could lead to a crazy amazing one on one match? Will we be forced to see Del Rio/Mysterio 11? Will Sheamus even appear on the show? Questions that need answers!

CM Punk and Cena SHOULD be the main event. The closing segment of the show. It is the two biggest stars in the company meeting for the biggest prize in wrestling. Who wins? John Cena has the MITB briefcase and the success on his side while Punk is in his 8th month as WWE Champion. NO ONE has been able to stop Punk yet. No even Henry or Kane! This should be an amazing one on one championship match. It's been a year since we've seen this match-up so it's considerably more fresh. I can't call this one. John Cena is looking for his unheard of 11th WWE Championship reign. 11TH! That's crazy. Punk has done a great job of taking on all comers for his WWE Championship. Will he defeat John Cena on Raw? Probably not. It's the 1000th episode of Raw, Cena is the face of the company and WWE loves their Cena. He's probably going to win the title, but if he doesn't, I think it will be because of Big Show. Show is going to have some part of this match, either assisting Punk or Cena to win or setting up the Triple Threat match at SummerSlam. Since I'm making predictions, I'm going with CM Punk to retain over John Cena on the 1000th episode of Raw. Am I crazy? Yes.

Well, that's how I see Raw going on Monday. I'm really looking forward to seeing who the new GM is and of course, the mega match of Punk and Cena. It should be a good show. Maybe. Hopefully. I'm optimistic. And of course, I'm preparing for the worst.

Ziggler's one step away

Well, MITB 2012 fell to match it's predecessor but it was still a alright PPV. Let's break down the matches.

Well, if it wasn't Rhodes, it had to be Ziggler. My #2 pick, Dolph Ziggler, has won the MITB briefcase! Not too shocked, he deserves it, I just wanted it to be Rhodes. The match itself wasn't too bad, A LOT of botches from what I saw. I was really upset with the Cara/Ziggler spot because I know Ziggler would've sold the heck out of the move Cara was setting up. Kidd's spot on Ziggler was another one but it ended up being pretty good in the end.

All in all, I'm glad Dolph Ziggler won. Now I'm going to be on the edge of my seat every time Sheamus is hurt after a match, just waiting to hear if Ziggler's music will hit. I'm hoping for a cash in on the 1000th episode of Raw. Congrats Ziggler. Rhodes, maybe you'll get a feud with Sheamus.

Sheamus and Del Rio FINALLY had their one on one match and it was pretty good. It ended WAY too clean for me though. White Noise then Brogue Kick? That was it? Come on WWE, we didn't even see the Armbar! Anyway, Sheamus won, got beat up by Del Rio afterwards and you know what happened; Ziggler came down and attempted to cash in but Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick before the match could start. It's alright; Sheamus is on borrowed time.

Prime Time Players get some exposure and lost, oh well. Can't wait to see the title match.

Punk and Bryan stole the show. What more did we expect? A lot of hard hitting, great moves, and in ring chemistry. I wasn't a fan of the ending though, a super back suplex through the table? Not feeling that. Oh well, Punk's record reign continues and Punk impresses in another fantastic title defense. Who will be the one to stop CM Punk and the longest WWE Title reign in 6 years?

Ryback wins against an actual tag team. Is this a sign of things to come?

Pointless Divas match.

SURPRISE SURPRISE! Cena wins! What was a surprise was the quality of the match. Not only that, but The Miz made his return and competed in the match. It was much better than I expected. Main event worthy though? No. Well, Cena won the MITB briefcase and you know what that means? Cena will become an 11 time WWE Champion within the year. Are you ready for that Internet?

Cena is teasing an annoucement concerning the MITB briefcase. My guess? He's cashing in at the 1000th episode of Raw because of The Rock's interest in the title but that's just my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed MITB. All the advertised matches delivered and it's good to see one of the young wrestlers get what he deserves. Congrats once again Dolph Ziggler. Can't wait to see you with the belt.

WWE Money in the Bank 2012 predictions

Here we go, WWE Money in the Bank is Sunday! This PPV will be a game changer guaranteed. Right now, we only have four matches announced. What the heck? Five if you count the pre show match, which doesn't make any sense since the Prime Time Players are the #1 contenders but whatever. Let's break down the matches.

The World Heavyweight Championship MITB will open the show as it's basically Smackdown's match. This should be good and exciting. This is the game changing match up. One of these guys will be the next World Champion without question. Let's break down each competitor.

Santino Marella is solely in this match to give the crowd the underdog feeling. I'm sure he will be close to winning this match before the real winner does win, just like at Elimination Chamber. Who knows, maybe WWE will shock everyone and actually let him win. I wouldn't be surprised and I'm actually really preparing myself for a Marella victory. I wouldn't like it one bit, but it would give me more hope for a Barrett return, you know, kind of take it away from Marella like Edge did with Kennedy.

Tyson Kidd is in this match as the Shelton Benjamin aka the highlight reel. I'm sure Kidd will do plenty of crazy aerial attacks to try and get noticed. If you don't know who Kidd is before the match, I'm sure you will afterwards. Chances of winning the match? Slim to none but I wouldn't be mad if he won for two reasons. 1. Kidd is crazy talented. 2. Barrett return storyline. Can you tell I miss my boy Barrett?

Sin Cara is also in this match for his high flying ability. I don't see a Sin Cara victory AT ALL. It just isn't going to happen, sorry Sin Cara fans. I expect a couple cools spots from him though.

Damien Sandow is in this match because...well, I don't why. To give him exposure? To start his new feud with one of the particpants in the match? I would like to believe Sandow will start a midcard feud with Christian after this match but who knows? His chances of winning? Better than Sin Cara's but I don't see it.

Tensai is in the powerhouse position of the MITB. He will dominate in this match. He will destroy one of the ladders with either Sin Cara or Kidd, most likely Kidd. Will he win? He's got a good chance. I think WWE can give him the briefcase and build him up as an unstoppable monster again. I like Tensai to a certain extent, so I wouldn;t be mad if he won. I just think he can get into the title picture without the briefcase and I really would love to see a Sheamus/Tensai feud after their hard hitting match on Raw a month back.

Christian is the veteran and obvious fan favorite to win this match but I don't want him to win at all. He's already been World Champion twice and has proven he can get into the World Title picture on his own. Christian doesn't need this match to get into the main event and that's why I don't think he should win. Will he? He's got a fantastic chance as he's the most experienced superstar in the match. I don't want to see it.

Dolph Ziggler is going to do what he does best, SHOW OFF. I'm expecting some good spots from him as well. For me, he's one of the favorites. This man is on the verge of breaking out and he's really proving that's he one of the top performers in the company. Will he win this match though? He's my #2 pick. He's been in many World Title matches this year but has come up short on each occasion. I think Ziggler can win his 2nd World Title on his own, but the MITB briefcase will definitely help. He's got a good chance to finally get his moment on Sunday.

My favorite, Cody Rhodes, NEEDS to win this match. He's lost his IC Title, which he held for almost 8 months and he has no direction on Smackdown now after his feud with Christian. What else is Rhodes going to do now? The only thing for Rhodes to do is to go up, which means to win the MITB match. It's his time. Rhodes has paid his dues and after Sunday, he'll be one step closer to being a World Champion.

So there you go. I'm picking Rhodes to win it all this weekend. It's hard though, two guys on the verge of breaking out and I want them both to win, but Rhodes hasn't tasted World Title gold yet or even the main event scene so I gotta go with him. This reminds me of last year, where Rhodes and Barrett were both on the verge of breaking out and Daniel Bryan just shocked the world. Could we see it again?

I'm guessing Ryback will be facing Reks and Hawkings at MITB since he's beaten both of them one on one. Ryback wins.

Del Rio will FINALLY face Sheamus one on one for the World Title. Sheamus has been on an ABSOLUTE roll since becoming World Champion. He's unbeatable, he's like Cena during his 1st reign with the WWE Title. Del Rio isn;t stopping this guy, I don't think anyone is but Barrett, Big Show, Kane, or Tensai, someone his own size. Sheamus retains over Del Rio in a pretty good match. With Del Rio told to be more aggressive and with him injuring Sheamus on the live Smackdown, will WWE allow the MITB winner to cash in? I'm keeping an eye out. In 2010, Kane cashed in. In 2011, Del Rio tried to cash in. Just saying...

The WWE Title MITB is really a waste of time. I hope Miz/Mysterio/the loser of the World Title match get added to the match at the last minute to add some more suspense to the match since we all know John Cena is going to walk out with the briefcase. Raw's MITB are always predictable so why not be predictable again? Big Show needs to win or he's going to have a failed heel turn but I don't want Big Show anywhere near Punk and the WWE Title. Go over on Smackdown and mess with Sheamus, not Punk. If Miz somehow gets into the match, I'm picking him to win just because I don't want Cena to win. If not, Cena wins, faces Punk at SummerSlam most likely.

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will hopefully main event the PPV where they both got their big pushes but who will walk out with the WWE Championship? With the dirt sheets all saying Punk/Cena will be in the WWE Title match at SummerSlam, one would assume Punk will walk out as champion but I don't see that. Cena would cash in on Bryan after the match and since Rock is going to be at the 1000th Raw and has already said he wants the WWE Title, it's more likely to see this scenario. play out. We also have to consider this whole Punk channeling his old ROH heel turn promo. Is Punk just playing with us smark fans or will he be turning heel? A heel Punk chasing Cena for the title interests me a bit but I think WWE would want to cash in on both superstars' popularity, make the mega match at SummerSlam and then have Punk turn heel afterwards. Anyway you cut it, this one is hard to predict. I haven't even MENTIONED the psycho AJ yet. Wow, WWE has another chance to do something amazing here. Since Punk has been on the longest WWE Title reign in years, I think it will continue. I'm going with CM Punk to retain over Daniel Bryan this Sunday. I don't know how and I love it. I'm going to simply watch this match as a fan.

SummerSlam is coming and that means time for a dream card that won;t happen! Here's mine!

Triple H VS Brock Lesnar - No Holds Barred
CM Punk VS John Cena - WWE Title
Sheamus VS Big Show - World Title
Daniel Bryan VS Chris Jericho
Dolph Ziggler VS Randy Orton

Just let me say that the Sheamus/Show isn't my DREAM World Title match, that's Barrett/Sheamus, but it makes the most sense. Bryan and Jericho already teased some tension when they teamed a couple weeks ago and match between the two would be amazing. Ziggler was suppose to feud with Orton before he was suspended so why not do it now? Please realize that this is just a dream card and I know it won't happen at all.

Well, there are my MITB predictions. #Rhodesorriot!

Money in the Bank draws near

Hey everybody! Long time no see! I've been neglecting this blog lately, but no more! I'm going to give more time to this blog I promise!

First and foremost, I would like to notify everyone a new video is coming pretty soon from Jamal and I and hopefully you'll see an awesome banner made from the people at http://www.bannersonthecheap.com. Vinyl Banners If you want any banners made for an affordable price, I would definitely advise you to go to their website ASAP. Check out http://www.signsonthecheap.com as well!

WWE Money in the Bank is a week and a half away and I'm super excited! Not for the WWE Championship MITB Contract match though, as we all know John Cena will be walking out the victor for that match. No, I'm looking forward to the highly anticipated rematch and probably blow off match between Bryan and Punk and of course the sure to be amazing and possibly career altering World Heavyweight contract MITB. Let's talk about Punk and Bryan first.

How poetic is Bryan/Punk at MITB, the PPV where both of these guys really got their start to stardom. Bryan winning the MITB and of course, CM Punk becoming the WWE Champion last year were two of the greatest moments of last year and a year later, they will clash for the richest prize in the business. Anyway, it should be an amazing match and with AJ as the ref, it should tell a good story as well. Unfortunately, this will probably be the last PPV between these two for a bit but hopefully Bryan won't drop down to the mid card after this. Maybe after Cena wins the belt, we will be treated to a Cena/Bryan feud. I would love to see that. Regardless, Punk/Bryan at MITB should be great, entertaining, and final. Hope to see Punk retain so they can set up the Cena/Punk rematch but I wouldn't be upset if Bryan won either. Still think these two should've had an Ironman match...

The World Heavyweight Championship MITB features some great talent in the WWE. It has both mid card champions, some great young guys, and major potential, not only in match quality, but for making the next breakout star. Out of the 7 competitors, no two deserve to win the match more than Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler. I like Christian, Sandow, and Tensai, but Christian has already proven he can get a shot on his own, Sandow isn't ready yet, and Tensai will probably get there on his own eventually. Who do I think deserves it more? Cody Rhodes. Dolph Ziggler technically has already won the World Title albeit for 11 minutes and he's already proven if given the opportunity, he can amaze so I would give it to Rhodes, who has never been in the big match situation yet. I'm hoping with this whole Sheamus injury storyline that we'll see a cash in at MITB, but I'll hold my breath. I wouldn't be upset with Ziggler winning, I just want to see Rhodes win it more, but if the Smackdown MITB matches have shown us, the person who we want to win, never do. In 2010, Kane was my last choice to win it all, I picked Rhodes and Ziggler, but I guess he was the only logical choice with the whole storyline and all. Last year, Daniel Bryan was my last choice, I really thought they were going to give it to Sheamus but I was cheering hard for Barrett and then Bryan wins. I'm just saying all this to prepare myself for the worst, like if Santino wins or a surprise, if Sandow, Tensai, or Kidd win. I wouldn't be mad, just shocked. I'd be pissed if Santino won though.

That's all for this week folks but I have one question, WHERE IS WADE BARRETT? My favorite wrestler needs to make a comeback and take what he deserves. SERIOUSLY.

Money in the Bank is next!

With No Way Out behind us and the end of People Power, where does WWE go from here?

Well we already know that WWE is building up to the mega match of Brock Lesnar VS Triple H at SummerSlam. I'm looking forward to it, it should be amazing. Forget that, I want to talk about a couple things, like Cena and the World Title pictures.

Del Rio came back tonight and is all good from his concussion. Does that mean that WWE will try and do Del Rio/Sheamus again? I want to see the match but is WWE willing to try again? Del Rio is the cover boy for MITB, so I wouldn't be surprised. I would like to see Rhodes get a shot with him losing to Christian and all, but he will probably be involved in the MITB ladder match, which he should win unless Wade Barrett returns. With Sheamus as World Champion, the future is bright for Smackdown, with young heels like Del Rio, Rhodes, and Barrett. The fall time should be a good time for the WWE. If I had to pick a SummerSlam main event for the World Title, it would be Barrett/Sheamus without a doubt. Mind as well and let Rhodes win the MITB. Kill two birds with one stone. Del Rio can wait, unless Barrett goes to Raw. I would love to see Barrett/Sheamus though, just because.

CM Punk has been absolutely dominating Raw. 7 months as WWE Champion and he isn't slowing down. I'm guessing Kane is out of the title picture now, which is a good thing. Will we get Punk/Bryan at MITB? I mean, it's only fitting right? The PPV where both of these guys broke out. The only fitting stipulation would be an Iron Man match but I know that's just asking for too much. It would only be fair though. Regardless, Punk/Bryan NEEDS to happen at MITB. It's just poetic. SummerSlam on the other hand would work as well, but I would like Punk to move on by then and face someone else. Anyone but Big Show though. Let Bryan and Jericho have a match at SummerSlam just because. I know, wishful thinking.

Cena has accomplished a huge feat in WWE by ridding us of Mr. People Power. What's next for Cena? Show said he's done with it and will probably hand Brodus Clay his first loss somewhere down the line. Does Cena get back into the title picture? If Punk/Bryan doesn't happen, the only other match that's more poetic than that IS Cena/Punk. They tore the roof off of the place last year and if they did it again, I wouldn't be upset. I don't think Cena is going to be in any MITB match because he's freaking John Cena. He's gotta play a big role at MITB, but I just don't know what yet.

Just wanted to get some things off my chest. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, just haven't been up to blogging with my hetic work schedule and all.

Over the Limit predictions

In less than 12 hours, WWE will put on the 3rd Over the Limit! Currently, 5 matches are scheduled to take place but I'm sure that will change. Let's get started!

Tag title match should open up the show. I got high hopes for this one as we have the amazing duo of Kingston and Ziggler who have some great in ring chemistry. Ziggler and Swagger are just stepping stones for Truth and Kingston like they were for Air Boom. They're getting a title shot to make Truth and Kingston seem like a nice duo. That's fine with me as it should be a good match up. I'm going with the good guys to win in what should be a nice tag team match-up.

Layla and Beth Phoenix is my most anticipated Divas Title match in years. One of the last Divas matches that I really enjoyed was Layla/McCool from Extreme Rules last year. Another one was Kelly Kelly and Phoenix from SummerSlam. So maybe we'll actually get a watchable Divas match this PPV. Here's hoping. I don't think Phoenix is getting the title back just yet as I think Layla is just holding it until Kharma finally returns. Layla returns.

I know it won't be this early, I'm just putting this now, but the Cena/Laurinaitis match seems pointless to me and SHOULD NOT be the main event. And now with the two stipulations in place, all signs point to a Laurinaitis win due to interference but from who? People are saying the obvious choice is Big Show, so he can get his job back which means we'll being seeing the boring Cena/Show feud WHICH also means they'll question if Cena can lift Big Show for the AA even though he's done it a billion times before. Could we see Lesnar come back? This eats up one of his dates, so I don't think WWE is willing to do that. The rumor mill has also talked about Batista coming back, which would interest me. It's been two years since a Batista appearance in WWE, could now be the time to bring him back? What if WWE swerves us all and just has Cena go over Laurinaitis clean? Sorry, I don't think that will be the case. Laurinaitis wins due to interference.

The Fatal Four Way match for the World Title will be a great war. 4 different superstars from different backgrounds competing for one of the biggest titles in the company. Del Rio is DEFINITELY not winning. How are you apart of a big title match this weekend and not appear on either show? That's insane. He doesn't have the credibility of 2011 Del Rio hence he will not win. Jericho DESPERATELY needs a win. He hasn't won on PPV since his return. This has been a failed return for the best in the world at everything he does. The only way he can make up for it is by winning the title, which I'm sure he'll drop by MITB. A Sheamus/Orton feud is brewing and I'm interested in a feud between the two, even if we already saw it on Raw in 2010. All guys need a win but I think Sheamus is going to retain. I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho won and I would be most surprised if the underdog Del Rio pulled an upset. I'm going with Sheamus to retain tonight.

What should be the main event is a possible match of the year candidate in CM Punk meeting Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. There's nothing I can really say about this but WOW. Two guys who weren't even suppose to be in the WWE are getting second billing at the biggest wrestling company in the world for the richest prize in the industry. Hopefully, with only 5 or 6 matches, WWE will give time to the two indy stars and let them have the match the Internet Wrestling Community wants. We want to see a technical based match. We want to see them go 25-30 minutes. We want this to be the MAIN EVENT! The show closer! I really don't care who wins, just as long as this match gets the time it deserves and is a wresting classic. I'm going with CM Punk to win though just because.

Alright, so what will fill in the gaps for the rest of the PPV? A Damien Sandow appearance? Ryback/Tensai/Clay squash match? Rhodes or Marella surprise title match? The Miz? What will WWE do with the extra time? Who knows, but I'm sure with this card, this can be the best Over the Limit in existence IF WWE just gives the World Title matches time, especially Punk/Bryan.

Feeling this card

<p>Maybe it's just me but I'm loving this Over the Limit card! Layla vs Phoenix could be the best Divas title match since Kelly Kelly. vs Phoenix at SummerSlam. As long as Phoenix still isn't selling that injury. Cena vs Ace has something up its sleeve. It has to. Why else would they make that travesty of a match? I'm sure Cena will have to run a gauntlet of monster superstars including Tensai and Henry. Maybe even Christian or any other returning superstar?</p>
<p>I was already looking forward to Del Rio Vs Sheamus, call me crazy but now that it's a Fatal Four Way with Jericho AND Orton invovled, I'm freaking sold. I still think the whole beat the clock challenge was a botch on the ref's part so they gave Jericho a title match to make up for it. Orton had to be involved in a big match on the card. He's on the darn poster of the event. We haven't seen a four way for the world title in ages. Has it really been since the Fatal Four Way PPV back in 2010? Either way I'm really looking forward to the match.

The whole reason Over The Limit is getting my 60 bucks is the amazing pro wrestling contest that is going to be CM Punk Vs Daniel Bryan. Yes, I understand that Punk and Bryan fought like 3 times in the beginning of the year. So did Punk and Cena last year and then had the match of the year at Money in the Bank. What's your point? If you're any kind of pro wrestling fan, you should be looking forward to Punk VS Bryan. It won't be some hardcore battle like Lesnar VS Cena but it will be a true pro wrestling match between two guys who weren't even suppose to be in the WWE. I hope that this match main events as Cena main eventing ANOTHER PPV is getting old. Don't get me wrong, he deserved the last two but at Elimination Chamber? Come on. WWE give Punk and Bryan the main event. Let the internet wrestling fans be happy for once. Give the guys a good half hour and I'm sure Over The Limit will be talked highly about.

I don't know what other matches could be on the event. I'm sure Lori and Truth will defend against Epico and Promo and we'll be treated to another classic match between Rhodes and Big Show. Maybe even a Ryback squash? Well if the last two PPVs has proven anything, it's that the main events deliver and I'm sure Over the Limit will be no different.

Cena beats Lesnar! Punk VS Bryan at Over the Limit!

Extreme Rules was good this year, not better than last year's edition. Let's break it down.

The Orton/Kane match was pretty good. Standard Falls Count Anywhere action. I liked the DDT off the announce table. Anyway, Orton gets the victory with a RKO on a chair and hopefully will move on to a feud more interesting.

Clay beats Ziggler. Ziggler has fallen SO FAR since January. One day kid...

Rhodes regains the IC Title, which means WWE isn't ready to push the young kid just yet. That's fine, as long as he's doing something in the WWE. Hopefully, this is the last match of this feud as I'm sick of it as well. Congrats Rhodes! Keep the title this time!

Daniel Bryan and Sheamus have the match they should have had at Wrestlemania. What a WRESTLING match this was. I really like Bryan in the ring as he can bring out the best in anyone and Sheamus definitely had to step his game up to beat Bryan. The end came when Sheamus hit a nasty Brogue Kick on Bryan to retain. I'm alright with the outcome, but where was AJ? They showed her in the promo so I'm thinking she would make an appearance in the match at least, but she was nowhere to be found. With this victory, Bryan will be taking a break from the World Title division while I guess Del Rio steps up. Del Rio VS Sheamus could be good, two guys who got pushed WAY too fast and paid for it lol.

Ryback squash.

Punk and Jericho gave fans the exact opposite of what they saw at Wrestlemania and it was GREAT. Punk and Jericho did just about everything you can do in a street fight and it was easily the match of the night. The elbow through the announce table was amazing to see. CM Punk defeats Jericho again in his hometown and now moves on. So, what is next for Jericho?

The main event between Lesnar and Cena was much more brutal and bloody than I would have ever expected. Lesnar must have forgotten that this is pro wrestling and not UFC. Those elbows to Cena were NASTY! Lesnar completely dominated Cena in this match, but in the end, Lesnar made one mistake and Super Cena appeared and with two moves, John Cena defeated Brock Lesnar in the main event of Extreme Rules. It was surprising to say the least to see Lesnar lose like that, but refreshing as well. Cena NEEDED the victory.

Anyway, Extreme Rules was good. Let's get to Over the Limit. In one of the weirdest moves WWE has made this year, Daniel Bryan won a Beat the Clock challenge and will now face WWE Champion CM Punk for the belt at OTL. What? Where the hell did this come from? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining because I've wanted to see a PPV match between the two since they had their series of matches in the beginning of the year, but it's just random. A little part of me believes that the referee messed up with Jericho's match and at the last minute, made Daniel Bryan the #1 contender. Maybe Jericho will complain and it will become a Triple Threat. That would be this generation's Angle/Benoit/Jericho. In a shocking twist, Johnny Ace will face Cena at OTL. I don't know where to begin with this one. For one, I thought Cena was going to take part in the Beat the Clock challenge, win, and finally give us Punk/Cena 3 for the WWE Title. 2nd, you know this is going to be a handicap match where Cena will face heels like Henry, Ziggler, Swagger, and Tensai only to come back and defeat his boss. 3rd, NOBODY WANTS TO SEE THIS MATCH! It's pointless! Give me Punk/Cena or Cena/Ziggler, just not this. Maybe there is something to it. Maybe WWE has something up their sleeve but I guess we'll have to see. Over the Limit is looking like it's going to be another 1 match PPV. I'm not interested in Cena/Johnny boy and I don't know if Del Rio/Sheamus will be really good. I DO know if Bryan and Punk get 25 minutes, they'll steal the show and have match of the year, but only time will tell. Hopefully, the undercard matches will be good, hopefully something with Rhodes/Orton? I know we've seen it already but I want to see it again, give Rhodes a chance to beat Orton for the IC Title. Maybe something with Christian? I don't know, but Bryan/Punk will be amazing, guaranteed!

Extreme Rules predictions

Hey everybody! First and foremost, if anyone is still reading, I apologize for the lack of updates this year. I guess that's what happens when you get engaged and then all the free time you have you put to Xenoblade. (close to 35 hours in) Alright, back on point, Extreme Rules in this Sunday. Last year's Extreme Rules was one of the best PPVs of 2011. Can WWE replicate this?

Like any post Wrestlemania PPV, this PPV is FILLED with Wrestlemania rematches.

A pre-show title match? Wow! I like the idea, I just hate the fact that The Miz is about to lose to Santino Marella. Last year at Extreme Rules, Miz was in the main event and now, he's on the darn pre-show! That's insane! Anyway, I fully expect Santino to retain his title as I think the next person in line for a run with the US Title will be David Otunga.

Nikki Bella will beat Beth Phoenix and just like last year, Kharma will make an appearance.

Orton will defeat Kane to finally end their painfully boring feud. Hopefully, Orton will be in the title picture or in a nice mid card feud with either Bryan or Del Rio. Kane can do something else, I really don't care.

Cody Rhodes and Big Show is another uninteresting Smackdown feud. It really is. I love Cody Rhodes and I think he is the future of Smackdown hands down. A win here isn't in his best interest. If Rhodes loses, I hope he finally gets pushed into the World Title picture. Big Show retains. I don't know who Show would feud with over the title

Please God, let Daniel Bryan and Sheamus get some freaking time. I was really anticipating their Wrestlemania clash and when it ended up being 18 seconds, so I'm really hoping for a nice one-on-one match up. I remember reading that Sheamus was in line for a lengthly World Title run but I don't know man. That Daniel Bryan is really over with the crowd and with this whole AJ storyline, I could see her costing Sheamus the title just to get back with her man. That's the prediction I'm making. Daniel Bryan will regain his World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday.

Punk and Jericho are going to have the exact opposite type of match they had at Wrestlemania. It's going to be like what HBK and Jericho did with their unsanctioned match. I know Punk is in his hometown and all, but can he really keep this title reign going? It's been almost 6 months! I'm not complaining but will WWE continue to allow Punk to beat all of his challengers? Jericho is going to be leaving pretty soon, so maybe WWE will give him a 21 day reign just so he remembers the feeling of being a champion? Jericho isn't a stranger to short title reigns so who knows? Nonetheless, I think CM Punk will retain somehow and start feuding with either Lesnar or Tensai afterwards. Hell, I would still like to see Punk/Cena again. I would buy Over the Limit just for that.

Cena VS Lesnar. The main event without question. Both guys here need the victory. Cena has looked VERY weak lately, losing the biggest match of his career at Wrestlemania and losing to Lord Tensai in Tensai's 3rd match in WWE. He has lost his big time name. Lesnar, on the other hand, has to prove himself. That he hasn't lost it since leaving 8 years ago. What the WWE fans will be treated to is an all out war. Lesnar and Cena will probably get a lot of time, hopefully most of the 10 o'clock hour. The winner? Hard to decide. I don't think Lesnar would want to come back just to lose in his first match back, but WWE can't keep making their top guy look like a loser. Also add the fact, he's losing to people who don't have that much ring experience, yes I know Rock is a former 7 time WWE Champion, but he didn't wrestle a one on one match in years! Anyway, I really believe that Cena will overcome the odds, rise above the hate, and defeat Brock Lesnar. If he doesn't, Cena might never be the same and the Cena era as we know it may be over.

So, after this, I think it's time for each of these feuds to be done with. I'll give my next coming feuds in the next post.

Tensai debuts, Lesnar RETURNS!

Let me first say that Miami was absolutely ELECTRIC tonight. That crowd was much better than Chicago's MITB. Anyway, good Raw.

The Rock wants another WWE Title reign huh? Well, he better stop playing Hollywood Rock and become the People's Champion again. If he's the WWE Champion and still making blockbuster movies, I and I'm sure many other hardcore wrestling fans will have a problem with that. If WWE does decide to give Rock another reign, he better not dethrone my boy CM Punk. Beat Cena again or somebody else, just not Punk. He's on too good of a roll right now.

Lord Tensai debuted tonight. Wow, that was fast. He made short work of jobber Alex Riley. I hope the guy gets the push he deserves. Tensai/Sheamus, book it!

Speaking of Sheamus, Del Rio interrupted him and it looks like Del Rio is going to be next in line for a World Title match. That's good, Del Rio returns and they put him straight back into the title picture. Let's see where this goes. BTW, did you enjoy the Yes chants as much as I did tonight? They were crazy! I hope that the chant keeps going.

Let's get to the big story; Brock Lesnar has FINALLY returned to the WWE. After many rumors over the past years, WWE and Lesnar have finally reached a deal it seems and the 3 time WWE Champion has returned! He made a huge statement by giving his signature F5 to John Cena to end this week's Raw. What does this mean? Will we see Lesnar/Cena? Will we have to wait until Wrestlemania 29 to see it? Who knows? Maybe we'll have more answers next week.

What a way to start the LONG road to Wrestlemania 29. Let's see where this road takes us.

The Rock defeats John Cena

Well, Wrestlemania 28 is in the books. I liked the event, MUCH better than last year's and all the main events delivered. Let's break it down.

WOW, an 18 seconds World Title match? WHY? I was really looking forward to this match and then they go and do this? I'm surprised. I knew Sheamus was walking out as champ, but like that? AND with the D-Bry fan club? That's CRAZY! Well, hopefully Bryan and Sheamus actually get a real one on one match soon because they got screwed at the grandest stage of them all. Congrats to Sheamus.

Kane and Orton have a mediocre match, expected.

Big Show becomes a triple crown champion by defeating Cody Rhodes. Rhodes, it's time to move on up on Smackdown. Mediocre match.

The good divas win, yawn.

After the first hour, the show started to pick up. It started with the HIAC and man was it freaking BRUTAL! Did you see all those damn chair shots? Taker's back was a mess. They really went all out and was able to top their match from 27 AND 17. The Sweet Chin then Pedigree combination was amazing and I was on the edge of my seat for that one. It was pretty close, I gotta be honest. Once the dust finally settled, the result was the same, Undertaker wins and now is 20-0. 20 victories and NO LOSSES. When is he getting his Hall of Fame nod? Great and brutal end of a great era in the WWE.

Miz leads Team Johnny to victory and goes 3-0 at Wrestlemania! Next Undertaker anyone? Anyway, Johnny boy is taking over both shows. What's the future hold for the WWE now?

Punk and Jericho lived up to the hype. And I know that it was hard, but they did it. They had a fantastic one on one match for the richest prize in the business. They brought prestige back to the WWE Championship and did it with style. There were good sequences and some great counters. The GTS into the Walls was crazy. In the end though, Punk comes full circle and now has won at EACH of the WWE's big PPVs and defeated Chris Jericho. It was fantastic and without a question, lived up to the hype.

Mr. Movie Star didn't job for Mr. WWE because of his ego. No, in all seriousness, Cena and Rock had a really good main event. Great atmosphere and these two went all out. It was a tense battle. I knew Cena was kicking out of the People's Elbow but still, when Rock hit it, I was on the edge of my seat. Then Cena hits the 2nd AA and Rock kicks out! Cena then gets cocky, pays for it, and loses the biggest match in his career. What is next for John Cena? He lost to a part timer. And it's funny; The Rock is a lot like his fans. They show up for one match then will abandon the WWE lmao. Gotta love part time wrestling fans. Anyway, Rock becomes the best superstar of all time by now defeating Hogan, Austin, and Cena at Wrestlemania. That's a hell of a resume.

Overall, Wrestlemania was good but should have been amazing. I'm really upset Bryan and Sheamus didn't get their chance to shine and that Rhodes lost his title. Not to mention Cena let down the whole WWE. The pros were the main events matches and the fact Miz is now 3-0!

What will happen next? Is Lesnar really coming to WWE? Will Cena finally turn heel? What will Daniel Bryan chant to the ring now? Questions that need answers...

Gotta address the Lesnar rumors

So, apparently, the dirt sheets are reporting that Brock Lesnar has signed a one year deal with WWE. If that is true, the main event for Wrestlemania 29 is going to be fantastic! Hell, if the cards all align right, we could have a Mania more epic than this year's! Anyway, IF Brock Lesnar is indeed coming back to the WWE, I would like to see him face The Rock again. Sign Rock/Lesnar 2 for SummerSlam. And forget Lesnar/Taker, I want to see Lesnar/Cena! Everyone always questions if Cena would be on top had Lesnar stayed. Cena can put all the critics to rest by facing Lesnar at Wrestlemania. I would like to see Taker/Lesnar and it probably makes more sense, but Lesnar/Cena would be amazing.

Austin and Punk have been teasing a match since Punk became a huge star and what better stage than Wrestlemania? What a huge Wrestlemania this could be!

It all really depends on if Lesnar has signed with WWE. Will he interfere in the main event? If he does, whoever he attacks, he'll face at WM 29. Just my opinion. Alright, sleep time, Wrestlemania in a couple hours!!!

Wrestlemania 28 predictions

It's been awhile Internet! Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, just a lot on my real life plate at the moment. Anyway, Wrestlemania 28 is now only 4 short days away and in my opinion, it has one of the better cards in Wrestlemania history. Let's break it down. I'm going to try and guess the match order, which I'm sure will be wrong.

I'm sure a title match will open up the PPV and with three titles being defended, I think the World Title will get the nod once again. Sheamus VS Daniel Bryan is my #3 most anticipated match of the night. I think everyone is overlooking these guys and they will end up having one of the best matches of the night. Sheamus is carrying a lot on his shoulders as the Royal Rumble winner. The Rumble winner hasn't won the big one at Mania since 2007. That's a 5 year drought Sheamus is facing. 5 years! Can Sheamus be the one to end it? He better be or the Rumble is going to start and lose its luster. I want to believe Daniel Bryan will win because I'm really becoming a big fan of his but I just don't see it. I want to see him retain but I don't think it's likely. I think Sheamus will dethrone Daniel Bryan this Sunday to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. I hope I'm wrong. No offense to Sheamus, but Bryan is just better for Smackdown right now. And hopefully, if Bryan is still champion, we can finally get Orton/Bryan on PPV.

Orton VS Kane is just a glorified filler match. I could care less about this pointless match and it's ashame Orton didn't a big profile match this year. Orton wins.

Cody Rhodes is at another Wrestlemania facing another former World Champion. Big Show has won just about every other title in the company except the IC Title. Is that a sign that he's going to win here? WWE are suckers for making history. Rhodes has been on a roll lately and has held on to his IC Title for more than 200 days. Is WWE really ready for him to lose that belt? Who would Big Show feud with over the belt anyway? I just think it's in WWE's best interest to keep Rhodes as champion and continue to build him up. He's going to lose the title eventually, just not to the Big Show. He'll only lose the title here if Sheamus wins and he's finally going to get that main event push. Rhodes retains.

CM Punk and Chris Jericho are going to steal the show, hands down. There's no better wrestling match on the card than this. Anyway, this is CM Punk's FIRST big WM match. Jericho on the other hand, knows the feeling; he main evented WM 18 over Rock and Hogan! Like I said, this should be a wrestling classic featuring two wrestlers who feel that they are the best in the world and who could really argue with them? They both put on some amazing matches in their careers. And now they both go one on one at the grandest stage. The match really could go either way, but I'm going with CM Punk to retain. If he does, Punk would have won the WWE Title at each of the WWE's big PPVs, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania. Jericho could win, just to give him a taste of what he has been missing and I could see WWE doing that to please Jericho, but either way the match goes, we should be in for a treat.

Team Johnny VS Team Teddy is pretty lopsided. Johnny almost had 5 former World Champion had not Christian got 'injured'. Even with McIntyre, Johnny has an absolute bomb squad of a team with a promising David Otunga, dominating Mark Henry, cocky and brash Dolph Ziggler, technical Jack Swagger, future World Champion material Drew McIntyre, and main event of last year's Wrestlemania The Miz. How could they lose to Marella, Kingston, Truth, Ryder, Khali, and Booker T? It would make them look like jokes. I could see if Johnny had some small times heels like Hawkings, Reks, and Slater, but he doesn't so he deserves the win. Plus, if Miz wins, he'll be 3-0 at Wrestlemania! I'm going with Team Johnny to win.

The End of an Era Hell in a Cell match. Say that 5 times REALLY fast. Triple H and Undertaker, the two masters of the hell in a cell match, meet one last time at Wrestlemania. HBK is the special referee so could we see some type of screw job? Better not be or there could be a huge riot before the main event. Anyway, this match has to be everything Punk/Jericho wasn't. It has to be an all out freaking war. I want chairs, tables, hell, I WANT BLOOD! Stop playing around. I want the end of a freaking era. They have to go all out. Make Rock and Cena scared because they have to follow the HIAC. In the end though, I don't know how, but The Undertaker will walk out, with his streak still in tact and be 20-0 at Wrestlemania. That is an incredible feat ladies and gentlemen. The question I still have though is will this be it for The Undertaker? Undertaker wins, keeps streak.

Divas tag match. Pee break before main event. Good Divas win.

The main event has to be the match they announced last year which is the super clash between The Rock and John Cena. Expect a lot of show boating, a lot of crowd reaction, and a lot of kicking out of finishers. Rock and Cena are both kicking out of each other's finishers. More than once. Both men need a victory here. Rock said it last week on Raw, who else in history can say they've defeated Stone Cold, Hogan, and Cena at Wrestlemania? With this win, Rock takes his place as greatest WWE Superstar of all time. John Cena on the other hand, needs the victory that much more. He says he's fighting for all the guys in the back and to his own credit, who can say they defeated Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and The Rock at Wrestlemania? Not even the almighty Undertaker can say that. So both guys need it for legacy sakes. Rock needs it for his huge ego. Cena needs it to keep going. Who gets the win in the biggest main event in Wrestlemania history? One could argue that Rock wins in his hometown but I don't want to see it. I mean, Rock's a fraud and it's not his time anymore. Hogan lets Rock beat him and passed the torch now it's time for Rock to return the favor. As much as I would like to see Rock tap like a baby in hometown, I don't mind a pin fall victory either, just as long as Cena wins. So, here we go, John Cena defeats The Rock at Wrestlemania 28 in the biggest main event in history.

So there you go, my WM predictions. Think I'm a fool? Sound off in the comments below. 4 days everyone!

BTW, I've been gaming hard lately, thanks to Mass Effect 3 and Tales of Graces f. Xenoblade comes out next week so I'll wait and do a triple review of all three.

Punk and Bryan retain!

In what was a somewhat shaky PPV, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan both retained their World Championships, which means the two indy stars will defend their titles at the WWE's biggest event, Wrestlemania! Jericho was never really eliminated from Raw's Chamber, which was a good thing. WWE didn't want Punk or Jericho to pin one another before Mania, I like it. It makes Jericho/Punk fresh for Wrestlemania. Other than that, the Raw chamber was kind of forgettable. Smackdown's on the other hand, is one I will never forget because it's the match that Santino Marella almost became World Heavyweight Champion. In the match, Marella pinned BOTH Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett. Are you serious? The future of the WWE? Pinned by this comic relief character? Really? Anyway, the crowd was HOT and wanted to see the upset of a lifetime, but it wasn't to be as Bryan finally got the victory. Sheamus made a brief appearance, setting up a clash with Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania. I don't think it's just going to be those two though. Orton has to be inserted into the match somehow, especially since Bryan technically took him out of the match with the title shot this past Raw. And I don't think Barrett and Orton are done yet, so better book a Fatal Four Way for Wrestlemania, seeing how we haven't had a Fatal Four Way for a World Title in about a year or so. Good setup for Mania.

Cena gets the obvious victory over Kane and now looks forward to facing The Rock at Wrestlemania in less than 6 weeks. I don't think it should have been main event, but neither Chamber match felt like it should have closed the show either. Maybe the Divas Title match? Anyway, good last PPV match for John Cena, it's time to be on Team Cenation now.

After tonight, we have some of the top matches for Wrestlemania brewing. Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan in some form are our title matches, Triple H/Taker is unfortunately all but confirmed, and of course we have Rock and Cena. Both title matches have some REAL potential this year, much better than last year's and the undercard should be really solid with the return of the MITB and whatever Rhodes does; either facing Marella or Goldust. Wrestlemania 28 should be a good show, let's just see if WWE puts these matches in motion.

Elimination Chamber predictions

The last PPV before Wrestlemania, Elimination Chamber. A lot of questions going into this PPV, like will we get an appearance from either Triple H or Undertaker, who will Sheamus face at Wrestlemania for his title shot, and will either World Champion survive? Let's break it down.

Tamina Snuka VS Beth Phoenix could be a really good Divas match. Tamina is getting her shot at the wrong time though. With the return of Kharma at the Royal Rumble, Phoenix/Kharma is all but confirmed, which can't happen if Tamina beats Phoenix. Phoenix retains to set up the biggest Divas match since Phoenix/James/Natalya.

Smackdown's Chamber will be the first of the two. Why? Because the competitors are a freaking joke. The Great Khali AND Santino Marella? REALLY? Is Christian that injured? They can't just let Orton come out last? What about surprises like Del Rio? Could he pull an Edge ala NWO 2009? Anyway, the other 4 are pretty good for this match and it's down to those 4 guys to walk out as World Champion. Take Big Show out because of the rumors of him having a match with Shaq at Mania and you're down to Bryan, Rhodes, and Barrett. The young guns. One of these guys will likely go on to defend the title against Sheamus at Wrestlemania. If Bryan retains, it would a rematch from last year's Mania. They had a dark match together last year and how ironic would it be for them to have a World Title match at the Mania the year after. Sheamus/Bryan would be a great match. If Rhodes were to win, he would make history being the World Champion and IC Champion at the same time. Rhodes/Sheamus has potential to be a great match, but I don't think Rhodes walking into Wrestlemania as World Champion is possible this year. Maybe for Wrestlemania XXIX? If Barrett won, I'm sure Bryan would be furious and try to get his rematch, which would set up a triple threat between Bryan/Barrett/Sheamus which is the match I've predicted. Barrett/Sheamus one-on-one wouldn't have the in ring technical skill of a Bryan/Sheamus but it could still be a very good big man match-up. Barrett has the best chance this Sunday to walk out as World Champion thanks to Orton getting injured. I'm going with Wade Barrett to FINALLY win a World Championship at the Elimination Chamber and who knows? Maybe we'll get either a Triple Threat or a Fatal Four Way with Orton involved? When's the last time they did a Fatal Four Way for a World Title at Mania? 2000?

Cena is going to absolutely DESTROY Kane this Sunday. He has to. John Cena is 6 weeks away from the biggest match of his career and if he doesn't beat Kane, he doesn't stand a chance against The Rock at Wrestlemania XXVIII. To be honest, I can see this being a total squash match to make Cena look as good as possible heading into the biggest event of his life. There is no discussion, Cena will defeat Kane this Sunday.

Raw's Chamber match is different this year. None of this guys look like they could be WWE Champion. They're all barely over the 240 pound range. Times sure have changed huh? Let's get real, the only two options in this match are CM Punk and Chris Jericho. The other 4 will probably be involved in the MITB match at Wrestlemania. So, does WWE take the title off of Punk and give it to Jericho? It's much better to see the face chase the heel for the title and it's especially good for Wrestlemania. Punk has just hit the 90 day mark for his reign. I would like to see him hold onto the title for a little longer, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho won. It hurts for me to type this but I'm going with Chris Jericho to walk out of the Elimination Chamber with the WWE Championship. Sorry Punk, you had a good reign, you'll win it again.

So there you go! After this PPV, all the stars will be aligned for the show of shows on April 1st. Can't wait to see how the Road to Wrestlemania paves out! Let's go Barrett and Jericho!
