Blue Dragon
I've played 10 hours of Blue Dragon and it's an awesome RPG. It really gives off the sense of nostalgia when you play it. It also may remind you of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Quest since the characters looks alike. You play as Shu, who lives in Talta Village. Every year, a Land Shark comes and destroys the town. Shu, along with his friends Jiro and Kluke, decide to take out the Land Shark. Their plan fails and they fall into an underground cave. Eventually, they meet Nene who is behind the Land Shark destroying their town every year and they want revenge. It doesn't sound like much of a story, but I'm only a little bit into it so far. I guess it begins to pick up later. But anyway, the gameplay is what makes the game. I love turn-based RPGs, so this is right up my alley. I also like they way skills are set up also. Every character can pick one of ten classes in the game. The classes include Magic Swordsman, Black Magic, White Magic, Assassin, etc. When you get a certain amount of SP, your class levels up and you sometimes get new skills. It's basically like the job system in the old FF games. Overall, Blue Dragon was a total steal at 20$ and it's one of the best purchases I've made all year. I'd give it a 9.0/10 In the next post, I'll give me feedback on Eternal Sonata. Until then

Xbox360 Playtime
So, over the last 5 days, all I've been playing is my 360. As I said in my last blog entry, I got Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon and they're all amazing. I like each one for different reasons. ES has the best gameplay, LO's story makes me want to play it continuously and Jansen is hilarious, and BD reminds me why I liked RPGs in the first place. I heard they dropped the price of Infinite Undiscovery to $40, which is a great price for me. I'd rather pay that since I heard it was short. By tomorrow, I'll be playing Rumble Roses XX (bought from Gamestop.com) and Condemned: Criminal Origins. (GameFly) I can't wait to play Dead Space and Fallout 3. I'll definitely buy Fallout 3, but I'll have to rent Dead Space, since it probably not that long. Well, that's about it. I'll give my opinion on Blue Dragon on my next blog entry. Until then.

Finally, a Xbox 360!
I finally got a 360! Along with that I got Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Eternal Sonata. I also bought Rumble Roses XX off the Internet since I couldn't find it in stores. Man, I just love the games I have. All of them are amazing RPGs and I'm glad I beat FF8 last week! Now I can also play Condemned, Saints Row, Dead Space, and Fallout 3! Yesterday was a great day indeed!

Final Fantasy VIII Accomplishments
After playing FFIV, I got the craving to play other Final Fantasy games. So, I found VI from the Anthology and borrowed 8 and 9 from friends. I focused on 8 first because I liked that one the best out of the three. I also wanted to conquer some old demons from that game. Mainly, Omega Weapon and that damn robot in the beginning of the game. When this game first came out, I was 8, so my RPG skills weren't as polished as they are now. So, when I got to that damn robot in the beginning, I didn't hold back and I whipped his ass with 4 and half minutes to get my ass out of there. I felt a sense of accomplishment because my friend, who is the "best" FFVIII player there is, never beat him. It felt nice to say I had that over him. But, that wasn't all I had over him. I finally beat Omega Weapon, after 9 long years. Luck is a huge factor in that fight. Squall's limit breaks come up random, but he pulled off 4 Lion Hearts in that battle, back-to-back twice! It went Lion Heart, Lion Heart, Blasting Zone, Lion Heart, Lion Heart. This was after 5 tries of trying to get a limit break from him. After those hits, Squall somehow survived Terra Break, which I thought was impossible. and ended the battle with a Rough Divide of all moves to end it with. I was relieved to see Omega start shaking and then dissolve into nothing. What I like about this game is that they give you something called Proof of Omega, which basically tells other people you beat the hardest boss in the Final Fantasy 8 world. Thank you Square Soft for reminding me of that hard ass battle. Well, I guess 9 is next. 9, for me, was a lot harder than 8 so I'm looking forward to the challenge. Well, I just wanted to tell others that Omega was beaten by me. Oh, and Persona 4 is only 2 months away! 2 more months until I whip some demons ass!
Also, I'll be 18 in 3 days! I glad I beat Omega Weapon before than because I could be getting a Xbox 360for my birthday this year! And I wouldn't be playing FF8 if I had Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to play. Well, I probably still would!
