I haven't made a post since Survivor Series, so I've missed a lot. I'm going to try and summarize the last week of wrestling real quick.
Dolph Ziggler is the best wrestler in the WWE. First Punk and then Orton this week. He continues to put on fantastic matches. Give my man a shot at WWE Title.
Awesome Truth's break-up and Truth's suspension look like it's going to help The Miz in the long run. His assault on Morrison was something I haven't seen from Miz. It was different. Could Miz be headed back to the WWE Title picture? Lord I hope so.
WWE has been airing some crazy promos lately. First, the Kane Resurrected promos. I'm all for a Masked Kane return so I'm loving those promos. Will he come back to take back the World Heavyweight Championship? The other promo is for 'a familiar force' returning to the WWE. Who could it be? The obvious creepiness of the promos suggest it's for the Deadman, who will punish the meek and claim what is his and it will be the end of the world as we know it. It is a little TOO obvious though? Could it be for someone else? Like say, a returning Real Best in the World Chris Jericho? Jericho has said he will never wrestle for the WWE again, but I don't believe him. I want to see him return, I need to see it. Only if it's for Mania. Maybe it's for someone else? Anyway, can't wait until January 2nd.
Punk beat Del Rio in controversial fashion Monday Night on Raw, meaning a PPV match is likely. After Punk beats Del Rio AGAIN, what's next for the Mexican Aristocrat? I guess he can try to win the Rumble again, but will he be involved in a high profile Wrestlemania match or be stuck in mid card hell?
Piper randomly came back to host Piper's Pit and he DESTROYED Cena's character. Was Piper trying to turn Cena? And where is this going? And how isn't Cena involved in the WWE Title picture? I'm not complaining, but it's just weird. Hopefully, we'll get some type of Fatal Four Way at TLC featuring Miz, Cena, Del Rio, and Punk. Piper dissing Cena was random, but maybe it's the thing he needs to hear.
Where the hell is Nash and Triple H? Did they completely forget about this feud or what? Will they still have a match at TLC?
So, I had a crazy idea after watching last night's Raw. A couple months ago, I made a dream Wrestlemania card. Well, forget that one. I got a new one. So, The Rock and Cena match is all about one generation meeting another generation. What if they did that for ALL the top matches? Rock/Cena is the obvious main event. What else could they have on the card?
The person who should face Undertaker this year isn't someone from the past. It's someone that rising quickly on Smackdown and becoming the #2 face on the show. I'm talking about The Great White Sheamus. If they aren't going to give the title to Sheamus, the next best thing would be for them to let Sheamus take on the 19-0 streak. It would be a good match and it would push Taker to the limit, which is what we ALL want to see.
I'm going to say that Punk is going to hold the WWE Title for as long as The Miz did. If that's the case, he has to have big Mania opponent. Ziggler? Would steal the show, but doesn't fit with my vision of generation VS generation. The man who should face Punk for the title is no other than Chris Jericho. A Jericho/Punk match would be worthy of the high caliber that is Wrestlemania. And the match would be amazing as well. The promos leading up to this match; LEGENDARY. I know people want to see Taker/Jericho, but Punk/Jericho would be better for the WWE Title's legacy. If Jericho really doesn't sign with WWE, then Punk/Austin would work as well.
The Miz is 2-0 at Wrestlemania. He's starting his own little streak. Who is my dream opponent for him on April 1st? Triple H. They started feuding at HIAC but they didn't have a one-on-one match yet. Why is that? Because WWE was probably saving that match for the show of shows. It probably wouldn't be the most technical match of the night, but it would definitely help push Miz's career and it would be a great return to form for The Game.
Dolph Ziggler has impressed me SO much in 2011. He's put on fantastic matches with Edge, Orton, Punk, AND Cena this year. Those guys have 37 World Title between them. 37!!! And Ziggler was able to hang with all of them. He's even called himself the Show Stealer and the Showoff. Isn't he reminding you of a young HBK? Maybe that's just me. I think a Ziggler/HBK match is in the works. I know, HBK Marcus really? I know HBK still has another match left in him and why not wrestle the hardest working superstar in WWE? HBK has always put on fantastic matches and his match with Ziggler would be legendary.
So, there it is. Here's the quick version:
Rock/Cena
Punk/Jericho or Austin
Sheamus/Taker
Miz/Triple H
HBK/Ziggler
I also think Barrett, Orton, and Bryan will be involved in the World Title match, Rhodes will face Goldust, we'll have a Divas match, and maybe Del Rio somewhere in there. Maybe even a Henry/Kane match? I don't care too much about the undercard and who really would if you had those five big matches? It would definitely be the biggest Wrestlemania of all time.

Not bad, not amazing
Survivor Series was a good PPV, better than Wrestlemania but not better than SummerSlam. Here's the results.
Ziggler and Morrison put on a great show opener and Ziggler continues to be one of the hardest working superstars in the WWE. Ziggler gets the easy win with the Zig Zag. Afterwards, Ryder comes out to one of the biggest pops of the night and hits Ziggler with a HUGE Rough Ryder. What a crime to keep the man off the PPV card. He better get a US Title shot tonight or at TLC.
Beth hit a Glam Slam on Eve off the top rope and retained the Divas Title. Craziness.
The Barrett Barrage is in FULL EFFECT! What a performance by both teams and especially Barrett and Rhodes. Great Survivor Series match. Sucks to see Sin Cara get injured and that completely ruins any hope for a Cara/Mysterio match at Wrestlemania. Anyway, I was surprised to see Orton by himself facing Hunico, Barrett, and Rhodes. Well, not so much Barrett and Rhodes BUT HUNICO? I would've loved to see Ziggler where Hunico was but whatever. Anyway, fantastic match and an even better ending. Barrett and Rhodes have breakout Survivor Series performances and both have to win World Titles in 2012. Hey, maybe one of them will win the Royal Rumble?
Henry and Big Show have another underwhelming match. Highlight of the match was Show hitting an Elbow on Henry from the top rope. It was a marvel to see, especially at his age. Show gets the DQ win and then crushes Henry's leg just like Henry did to Show at MITB. A perfect opportunity for Daniel Bryan to cash in right? But no, he doesn't! Where does Henry's 'injury' leaves the World Title picture? Will he have to relinquish the World Title and will somehow Barrett or Rhodes take over? Optimistic, but I sure hope so.
CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK! Finally, Punk is the WWE Champion again. A great WWE Title match between the two. I guess WWE just doesn't have faith in Del Rio as champion. Oh well, as long as my boy Punk has the title, I'm fine with it! They're going to tear the roof down at TLC and Punk should be feuding with Awesome Truth or Ziggler around Royal Rumble time, so Punk's WWE title reign could be very epic. Let's not forget about Cena. Punk/Cena III for the WWE Title would be another great match.
What a predictable main event. Rock and Cena win, Rock hits Cena with a Rock Bottom, everybody overrates Rock performance, blah blah blah. Rock didn't prove ANYTHING last night. He wrestled for 4 minutes in a 21 minutes match. How does that show he still has it? A couple of arm drags and a headlock and everyone is impressed? Then throw me in a ring. Anyway, what should I expect from a PPV that already had Ziggler, Phoenix, Team Barrett, and Henry keeping his World Title? Can't have all the heels winning right? Anyway, the only saving grace is that with Rock winning THIS match, he'll lose at Mania.
Overall, a pretty good PPV. No big surprises or returns, but they used the superstars they had. The best moment of the night was definitely Barrett and Rhodes surviving. The last time a heel Survivor Series group survived like this was Team Miz in 2009 and the survivors were McIntyre, Sheamus, and Miz, you know the rest. Two of the three won World Titles and McIntyre still has a chance if WWE uses him right. Anyway, Barrett and Rhodes WILL win World Title by the end of 2012, mark my words.
I'm going to be missing Raw this week due to work, but my reaction post will be up Wednesday. See you then!

Them Survivor Series predictions
Well, it's almost here. WWE's last big PPV of the year. The 25th annual Survivor Series! Just like Survivor Series last year, this PPV has A LOT of potential to be a game changer in the WWE. Will it live up to the hype? Atfer last year, I don't have any faith that it will. Here's my predictions!
If Zack Ryder DOES NOT get into this US Title match, it will be a crime to every WWE fan who actually spent the time to sign his petition. My first prediction is that Zack Ryder will get into this match making it a triple threat. A Triple Threat between Morrison, Ziggler, and Ryder will be a fantastic opener for this big PPV. There's only one reasonable outcome to this match if Ryder is in it. Ziggler has held the US Title for 5 months. It's time for Ziggler to get that main event push again and have a World Title for longer than 11 minutes. Morrison will probably be leaving WWE pretty soon and that will be the best thing for his career. Giving Morrison the US Title just to stay with the company is stupid. It's not like that promises that WWE will use him for main events down the line. If Ryder gets in the match, HE HAS TO WIN! His merchandise is selling like hot cakes, the fans are getting behind him, the PPV takes place in his HOME STATE, and he could help rebuild the US Title division. If Ryder isn't in this match, then Ziggler and Morrison will have another fantastic match with Ziggler holding out and retaining his title. WE WANT RYDER! Those chants are going to be filling the arena.
Beth and Eve have a chance to have another good Divas match and here's hoping. I think Beth will retain. When is WWE going to start teasing the inevitable Beth/Natalya feud.
Henry VS Show III. Hard to believe this is the 3rd time they faced on PPV. I'm not interested in the match too much, just the outcome and the aftermath. Big Show has won both of his World Title at Survivor Series and he's making Henry look like he's able to be stopped. Henry has had one of the best 2nd halves of the year ever. He's definitely in the top 5 for Superstars of the year. If he beats Big Show, he can still feud with a returning Kane or Undertaker or even a red hot Sheamus. It's just better for Smackdown to have Mark Henry as World Champion, but that's just my opinion. I'm going with Mark Henry to retain over Big Show at the Survivor Series. Let's not forget about Daniel Bryan either. I wouldn't be surprised if he finally cashes in this Sunday. If Bryan cashes in, I wouldn't be surprised if the Barrett Barrage continued and he somehow became World Champion by year's end.
The match I want to see most, the traditional Survivor Series match. All the big time players in one huge match. I love these kind of matches. Some much unpredictably in this match. I really want to see the young guys overcome and win big at Survivor Series, but I don't know. Barrett and/or Rhodes going over Sheamus AND Orton at the last big PPV of 2011? Hell no, but you know me, I'm crazy enough to predict anything. Hell, I predicted Miz winning at Mania, so my prediction for this match is this; Wade Barrett will be the sole survivor for his team. Either that or Rhodes will be or that both will survive together. The heel team will win after being embarrassed on the last two shows. They have too. Why would Barrett captain his own team after not even being featured on Smackdown except for lately? Barrett will be standing tall at Survivor Series, like he should have last year. Anyone think that it's kind of funny that Barrett and Orton are apart of another big Survivor Series match? Is that why Barrett got captain status and not Rhodes?
Punk and Del Rio BOTH desperately need wins at the 25th annual Survivor Series. CM Punk hasn't won at a PPV since SummerSlam and after that big win, he lost! How is he going to be the biggest WWE superstar without any PPV wins? He gets pinned by Triple H, takes the pin in the HIAC, and takes the pin in the tag match at Vengeance. Del Rio isn't a really credible WWE Champion. He won the title at SummerSlam and lost it at the next PPV then wins it back at the PPV after that. What was the point of having Del Rio lose it in the first place? At least he beat Cena at Vengeance last month even though it wasn't clean. Del Rio needs a win because he doesn't look like a strong champion at all. He can't possibly have another short title reign can he? My prediction is that Alberto Del Rio will walk out of Madison Square Garden as WWE Champion. That doesn't mean he'll beat Punk, maybe a DQ finish is the best for both guys and then have an amazing TLC main event next month where Punk finally wins the title, like how Edge did last year. Punk has to be WWE Champion by December 26th. He has to bring the title to his hometown crowd. So yeah, Del Rio walks out as champion, either by dirty victory or a DQ. It's cheap but it would work.
There was never any doubt what would be the main event. Cena and Rock facing Awesome Truth. Miz is main eventing his 2nd big PPV this year, while Cena has been in all of them. How does this big match go down? Can Rock and Cena, the biggest tag team of ALL TIME, actually lose to Miz and Truth, practically two nobodies when you compare them to Rock and Cena? That's what I'm betting on. Another big PPV, more talks of a Cena heel turn. I don't think Cena will turn heel at Survivor Series, but I do think he'll cost his partner the match. I think the match will basically be won, Cena will have hit the AA on Miz and the crowd will be chanting for The Rock to get the tag. Rock will get the tag and get ready to hit the Rock Bottom or the People's Elbow, probably the Elbow. Rock will hit the ropes and run right into an AA. Cena will say something about seeing him at Mania and then leave. Miz will get up, call Truth over, and hit the Lil Jimmy's Finale. 1,2,3 and Awesome Truth have shocked the world. Hey, I can dream right? Well, that's my prediction! I don't care if I'm wrong! Awesome Truth will DEFEAT The Rock and John Cena with Miz pinning The Rock. If Miz pins The Rock, he's my Superstar of the Year.
So that's it. I hope it's a good show. The main event has to go down like I predicted or the event is going to end horribly.
So, I beat Dark Souls, don't know if I blogged about it, but it's definitely the 2nd biggest gaming accomplishment for me this year, only behind beating Catherine. I got Saints Row 3 on Tuesday and I absolutely love it. Zelda FINALLY releases tomorrow and I'll be getting it RIGHT after church tomorrow. Can't wait to play it. I haven't completed Dead Rising 2 OTR or Batman but I do plan to beat them after beating SR3 and of course Zelda.
Come on back EARLY Monday morning for my post Survivor Series blog. I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

Traditional Survivor Series match!
Well, we're getting a traditional Survivor Series match this year! It's Team Orton, which consists of Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Sin Cara, and Kofi Kingston taking on Team Barrett, yes, BARRETT, not Rhodes. Team Barrett consists of the resurrected Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Christian, Hunico, and Jack Swagger. Not bad WWE. Like I've said in blog posts before, Barrett, Rhodes, Christian, Sheamus, and Orton were all MUSTS for this match, since they weren't going to be in big matches this year. Ziggler not being in this match must only mean he's going to face Zack Ryder at Survivor Series and the match makes sense to take place at the event since it is in New York after all. Mason Ryan only gets on the team because of Bourne being suspended. Lucky for him. Hunico/Sin Cara is a feud I could really care about but it's a feud nonetheless. Kofi's the only guy not feuding with someone in this match. Orton has Rhodes, Christian and Barrett have Sheamus, Hunico has Sin Cara, and Swagger has Ryan. Kofi is the on the outside looking in. While I hope Barrett and Rhodes will be the survivors for their team, I don't think they will win AND Awesome Truth will win. That's too many main events heels winning at their last big PPV of the year.
Good booking by WWE. With that match, we have 4 matches and most of the power players in WWE involved. What's left? Ziggler VS Ryder should be the show opener. They had a great match on Raw and they could tear the house down at Survivor Series. It's time for Ryder to win the belt and what better place to do it than at Survivor Series. They gotta have a Divas title match to round out the card. The only other match that could be on the show would be Nash/HHH, which they should do. If this is going to be a big Survivor Series, then why not feature this match? And make it No Holds Barred so they can go all out.
Even though I would've put Brodus Clay in the Survivor Series match and not Hunico so they can start a Clay/Ryan feud, I'm still really looking forward to the match. Christian/Barrett/Rhodes is a great combination and Orton/Sheamus are two of the biggest faces in WWE. It's going to come down to Orton VS Christian/Barrett/Rhodes, mark my words. Rhodes, Barrett, or both are going to have a breakout moment at this PPV.
So, here's the Survivor Series card! (Well, mine at least)
Awesome Truth VS Cena and Rock
CM Punk VS Del Rio for the WWE Title
Mark Henry VS Big Show for the World Title
Team Orton VS Team Barrett
Zack Ryder VS Ziggler for the US Title
Some Divas title match
I love Survivor Series, mainly because of the traditional 5-on-5 match, but I'm looking forward to Punk/Del Rio and the main event as well. There's a lot of potential in this PPV. Some superstars can have a breakout performance, Punk can try again to start a new era of professional wrestling, and Miz has a chance to shock the world again. November 20th can't come soon enough!
