Wrestlemania XXX is over. With that, there was a changing of the guard. Mostly ever Attitude Era star who was on the card for WM, LOST. Triple H put over Bryan, The Shield destroyed Kane and The Outlaws. Lesnar DEFEATED Undertaker. It just felt like it was out with the old, in with the new and it continued on Raw. Cesaro being paired with Paul Heyman, Paige winning the Divas Title, Rusev making his debut, Bryan and The Shield standing tall at the end of the show, it was just amazing to see the youth getting exposure and getting a brief glimpse at the future. Let's start with the show of shows; Wrestlemania.
Bryan/HHH was exactly the type of match I wanted it to be. No, it wasn't a bloody feud ender but it was still a war in its own right. Not only was the match quality great but the ending sequence! Wow! Bryan actually went over HHH clean! In the first match of the biggest Wrestlemania of all time! Such a shock. I knew Bryan was going to go to the main event but maybe by DQ, not by a straight pin fall finish. Anyway, great first match and the obvious prelude to what was to come because.....
Daniel Bryan did the impossible, defeating Batista and Randy Orton in a chaotic main event to ascend to the top of the WWE food chain. That was an absolutely crazy match and the table spot was insane! There were many close pinfalls and each time a finisher was hit, I was on the edge of my seat. So, Bryan went over 75% of Evolution in one night. It took Taker 6 Manias to do that. More on him later.
Cesaro and Wyatt had great performances at the Show of Shows as well. Cesaro won the Andre the Giant after LIFTING The Big Show over the top rope. What a feat of strength! Only a guy who could lift the Big Show could win that match. Cesaro wasn't my pick but I'm glad it was him. Wyatt, while on the losing end to Super Cena, looked very strong in defeat. He pushed Cena to his limit and even kicked out of the Attitude Adjustment! Not everyone gets that! Wyatt has a huge future after being very close to beating Cena but it wasn't meant to be. Maybe at Extreme Rules.
Let's talk about the shock; Brock Lesnar ended the streak. This is a HUGE sign that change is in the air. Taker's streak has been a signature of Mania from 17-30. Now, with it gone, they can focus on other aspects at Mania, like other matches that focus on youth or other big feud matches. No longer will Taker be a fixture of Mania and that's not really a bad thing. It's definitely going to feel weird in the coming years but we all knew that Taker was going to stop eventually. I'm sure people are upset that it was Lesnar of all people to end it as he's probably not going to be around for much longer as well but maybe just maybe, WWE saw it as an opportunity to push Paul Heyman as a manager. It makes sense because now that Cesaro is with Heyman, it makes Cesaro look EVEN STRONGER. That was only one of the many moments of post Wrestlemania Raw.
Bray Wyatt is a star! Wyatt and his family had the crowd in their hands during their match with Cena, Sheamus and Big E on Raw. From the crowd clapping them to the ring, humming their theme and even singing He's Got the Whole World In His Hands, The Wyatts were super over. They looked dominant over three of the biggest, in terms of size, guys in the company. They had Cena cowering on the ramp. COWERING. When has a superstar ever done that to Cena? This feud isn't over just yet? Not until Wyatt destroys Cena...
Paige and Rusev make their debuts and Paige wins the title in her first match on the main roster! With Paige with the main Divas now, I'm VERY excited for the future of the division. With AJ, Naomi, Natalya, Emma, Paige, and all the amazing women in NXT, the Divas division can really pop off again. I can't wait to see Paige VS AJ in a PPV match. Rusev had a squash match. Not really impressive but I'm sure this guy will be a stable on the main roster for years to come. He has a good looking mouthpiece and the look WWE wants. This guy is HUGE. John Cena VS Rusev coming to a PPV near you!
Shield VS Evolution! It's coming, I just feel it! Reigns spearing HHH confirmed it! You want to talk about exposure? How about having the most dominant 3 man group of this era take on one of the greatest factions of all the times! Santino reference by the way. Anyway, WOW, that should be good. If they do go into that direction, who gets the chance to dethrone Bryan? It really should be The Conquerer himself, Brock Lesnar. A Bryan/Lesnar match would be fast and hard hitting. Lesnar deserves a reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion but I don't know if Bryan should be the one he wins it from JUST yet. The man just had his moment, let him enjoy it.
Anyway, the future is bright for WWE. With Paige winning the Divas Title, the division could be in for a resurgence that it desperately needs. With guys like Wyatt, Reigns, Cesaro and Rusev, the main event picture looks to be fresh for years to come. WWE just presented the blueprint for the future, now it's just time watch it unfold.

Wrestlemania XXX Predictions
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time. This Sunday, WWE presents their biggest PPV ever in Wrestlemania XXX. This is going to be a very interesting Wrestlemania, one that will be talked about for years to come. Let's not play around with it anymore, here's what I think happens at the big event.
First off, I think we see appearances from all major names in WWE that are still living. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Hogan, Austin and Flair all in the same ring to start the show off, kind of like the opening promo. Maybe The Rock if he isn't busy filming some sequel. I'd like to see Edge, HBK, and any other HOF or big time superstar that has main evented Mania.
The tag title match could be something special but why oh WHY aren't Harper and Rowan in it? I think that's the team that will dethrone The Usos but they aren't in the match! Anyway, the only team that have a chance of beating The Usos are The Real Americans and there seems to be a falling out in their future. I just don't think they'll win this late into their partnership, especially after all the tension they have. I'm going with The Usos to win with them eventually losing to The Wyatts.
The first PPV match will be The Shield VS Kane and the New Age Outlaws. It's the PG Era VS The Attitude Era! The Shield is going to break up soon. It's inevitable and happens to all the great groups. WWE has already crowned Reigns as their next star by making him have big showings at the last two big PPVs. What will happen here? I think Ambrose and Rollings have to turn on Reigns. Let Reigns get the sympathy from the fans and put the heat on the other two. Let Kane get the victory for his team by pinning Reigns. He won't look weak in defeat and it would help his massive push in the long run. While I would prefer Reigns to start a little undefeated streak of his own, I think a loss here would be good for his push, not to mention Ambrose and Rollings. I'm going with the Attitude Era to win.
The Andre the Giant Battle Royale is WWE's way of saying to the 30 superstars involved, hey, sorry we don't have a big enough feud for you at Wrestlemania, here's a pointless over the top match instead! I really don't see the point of this, unless it's going to push a young guy into a feud with one of the more experienced guys on the roster. He's not announced for the match but I would LOVE to see Alexander Rusev in this match and end up winning. Being the Andre the Giant Battle Royale, a big guy has to win this. Why not Rusev? Instead of going with tradition and having him debut the Raw after Mania, why not put him in the match and have him win? What a better way to introduce him to the WWE Universe? I'm going with that. Rusev wins it.
The Diva Invitational is another cheap way to get all women not doing anything and put them on the card. With all these challengers, AJ's long reign, and with all the Total Divas girls being involved, will the title finally changed hands? And if it did, who would win? Brie is my obvious favorite. Her soon to be husband is one of the most popular stars in the company today. A little of that has some effect on creative right? Naomi is another good option due to her athletic ability. It's really hard to choose from but I'm still going with AJ for the win. If she's going to lose it, it will be in a one on one match.
Taker beats Lesnar. It's Wrestlemania. It's Taker's event. Do I really want to see the match? No. I think there are better options for Taker (Sheamus, Reigns, Cena just to name a few) and that Lesnar is too rough of an opponent for Taker to face in his old age. I'm not saying this is going to be a bad match. I think quite the opposite actually. It could be really good and as of right now, there's no stipulation added to the match, which I think will change on Sunday but for now, this would be Brock's first no stipulation match since he came back. I think it would be interesting to see if Lesnar can still wrestle and not just fight. Anyway, regardless of what kind of match it is, Undertaker will extend his streak to 22-0. I just don't understand WHY WWE didn't do the Cena/Taker match-up at their biggest PPV ever. Are they scared? Or they already have it planned down the line?
Wyatt VS Cena is my most anticipated match on the WM card. Why? Bray Wyatt has slowly become one of my favorites right now. From his crazy promos, to his awesome gimmick to his downright awesome matches, this guy has a serious future in the company and that is evident by his opponent John Cena. Cena has competed at 10 Wrestlemania events. 9 were title matches, 8 were WORLD title matches and 5 were the main events. This is only the 2nd time Cena hasn't competed for a championship at Mania and his first match since WM 20 where there isn't anything major on the line. Well, there technically is. John Cena is fighting for his legacy in the company. A legacy after it's all said and done will rank with the top brass of the WWE. To put Wyatt against Cena at their biggest PPV of the year shows confidence from creative. If you're not a fan of the guy, jump on the bandwagon now before he wins his first title. This man is in the top two matches of the year so far! With all that being said though, does this equal a Wyatt win or a Wyatt loss? Let's look at some more stats. Cena is 7-3 at Wrestlemania, the only three guys beating him are Orton, Miz and The Rock. Cena is putting EVERYTHING on this match but the last time he did that, he walked out the loser that night. It's hard to really say how this match will go down, due to Cena's Superman credibility in the company but I'm bold and I stand by my decisions. I said Miz was going to beat him at 27 and he did! Bray Wyatt will defeat John Cena at Wrestlemania 30, obviously with the help of his family. Why else wouldn't they be in the tag title match?
Be on the lookout for a Cena legdrop reserved into Sister Abigail. You heard it hear first!
Bryan/HHH alone could be the main event. The match has been building since SummerSlam. Bryan has been held down by The Authority so many times since then. Bryan was snubbed at the Rumble, screwed at the Chamber and almost didn't even have a chance to main event Mania. With the stipulation that whoever wins this match goes into the World Title main event, the ramifications of this match will be instantly felt. If Triple H wins, you get a Triple Threat match that would have been in the making for 10 years. It's not a bad main event at all, except the fact that it includes ALL HEELS and that it's probably 5 years too late. Bryan/Orton/Batista is the match that makes sense as Bryan and Orton have been feuding since SummerSlam as well. If Bryan wins, he'll be overcoming all the odds that held him down. I'm going with Bryan to beat Triple H but by DQ. Triple H will sense that he's close to losing and then will draw the DQ to weaken Bryan for the main event. It should be a pretty good fight between these two that will lead straight into the main event...
Batista/Orton by itself could've main evented a Wrestlemania, maybe 24 or 25, if the cards were aligned right but now, it seems too late as well, which is why I guess they decided to put a third person in. If Bryan is added, I see them working together to take out the smaller man before fighting each other, which I'm sure the crowd will LOVE. I don't think WWE would do this without having Bryan go over. Why get the crowd so hype only to take it away? Oh wait, this is WWE we're talking about. In the end, it will end like WM 20 ended, with the champion tapping out to the underdog. There will be confetti and maybe even an appearance from an old friend. :) Hey, I can dream right?
WM XXX is going to be one for the ages. One that shows what direction WWE is heading towards. Will we see Daniel Bryan rise to the top of the mountain again? How will young stars Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns fare this year? Will Lesnar destroy The Undertaker? Will we see CM Punk?
We find out in 3 days!!!
