Thanks for reading everyone!

Well, this month I've had more viewers on this blog than I've had in my two year history. And for that I must say thanks to everyone who has been reading as of late. I really appreciate all the views but I would definitely love some more feedback from you guys. I love hearing from other people and would love to hear ideas about what I'm talking about so get on that readers!

So, what's going on lately in my world? 90s Nick is back and I'm loving it. All That and Kenan and Kel really having me rolling when I come in from work and it really makes my day. Uh, Nintendo has reported that they lost money for the first time in 10 years AND that they are lowering the price of the 3DS by $80. That's a big price drop. A VERY big price drop. Is Nintendo going to be OK? I mean, not only are they lowering the price, they're basically BEGGING people to buy it before the price drop because if you do, you'll be given 20 FREE games from Nintendo's past libraries. That's pretty desperate if you ask me. 20 FREE GAMES? Come on man. I'm still a Nintendo fan and can't wait until Skyward Sword and the Wii U, but I hope this proves that Nintendo needs to cater to the hardcore gamers as well. If the 3DS had a stronger launch line-up, I wouldn't have anything to post about AND if they had more hardcore games for the Wii, like all the JRPGs they refuse to localize, they wouldn't have any problems. Time to step the game up Nintendo!

iLost My Mind is only two weeks away so I'm pretty pumped for that. So is SummerSlam and El Shaddai, which I can't wait to play. That's going to be an awesome 4 days. I'm going to take Saturday off to go to the movies, watch iLost My Mind, see CM Punk become the Undisputed WWE Champion on Sunday, see him gloat on Monday, and finally get El Shaddai on Tuesday. Hopefully, by that time, I'll have gotten all the endings in Catherine. Let's see, I'm almost through my first play-through of Catherine and I've been loving every minute. It's really one of the best games of the year. It's got a great storyline, fantastic characters, and the gameplay is really solid. I'm pleasantly surprised. I didn't think the puzzle gameplay would keep interested but boy was I wrong. I just keep coming back for more punishment. And the difficulty isn't that bad. I mean, it gets me frustrated but I seriously can't get enough of it. A full review will be coming soon, once I beat it.

I'm still highly upset about Orton/Christian but I'm not going to keep complaining about it. I think it's just weird SummerSlam is going to have two World Title rematches. Other than that, nothing else is going on. Be sure to check my Youtube account tomorrow for a new wrestling talk video. It's going to be VERY LONG so if you got the time, check it out. Oh and leave some suggestions for what you want me to talk about. On days like this, I'm very bored and have nothing to do. I would be beating Catherine but the Xbox is in the family room and I can't play when the stupid family is in so I have to go to my blog. Anyway, what kind of posts do you want to see? Wrestling related, video game related, anything. Tell me in the comments below. Well, I guess I'm going to try and slip upstairs and watch Victorious so once again thanks for the views and God bless.

Smackdown needs change QUICK

So the main event is set for SummerSlam! It's going to be whatever Raw puts on because we're unfortunately getting Orton/Christian V! Why is WWE shoving this feud down our throats. It's like Raw and Smackdown are two of my children. One is doing well and trying to make a name for itself while the other one is doing drugs and/or in jail. How is it possible that Raw is doing so awesome while Smackdown is doing so horribly? And not only are we getting Christian/Orton V, they're turning Sheamus face! Why him of all people? I'm hoping it works but I'm not looking forward to this Sheamus/Henry feud, give the man a dang title, that will turn him face! On the bright side though, we might be getting a Bryan/Barrett match at SummerSlam! The match, in my opinion, has been 12 months in the making, ever since they kicked Bryan out of Nexus, so Smackdown gets props for starting that feud, but loses props for putting Rhodes up against Jackson. Really? Jackson? (sigh)

Let me get back on Orton/Christian. Yes, I understand the match is No Holds Barred, but that should of happened at Capitol Punishment! They should of least had an Ironman match. That would have been a better feud ender. Am I the only person who is upset about this? Does everybody really like this feud anymore? I mean seriously? How long is this going to go on? Picture this, Christian beats Orton and Orton's just going to get another shot because HE'S RANDY ORTON! If Christian loses, HE'S GOING TO GET ANOTHER SHOT! It's the song that never ends. It just goes on and on my friends! The main event picture needs a change. What kind of change? SOMETHING! ANYTHING! I know Daniel Bryan isn't ready to hold the World Title and run Smackdown yet, but kid, it's time to cash in at SummerSlam. The two are going to have a brutal 'feud ender' and they're both going to be hurt. He's gotta cash in. If Bryan wins the title at SummerSlam, then all will be forgiven and Smackdown will be relevant again. And could you imagine how crazy the Internet would become if Bryan AND Punk were both World Champion at the end of SummerSlam? I know I will go crazy. Anyway, Daniel Bryan is our only hope to stop this crazy Orton/Christian cycle. If he doesn't step in, we'll have Orton/Christian all the way to Survivor Series. SAVE US DANIEL BRYAN!!! SAVE US! And imagine the great Smackdown PPV matches we'll have to look forward to. Bryan/Christian, Bryan/Orton, and maybe FINALLY ON PPV, Bryan/Rhodes.

But seriously, I'm SICK of Orton/Christian. How do you have 4 straight PPV title matches with 3 of them being NORMAL MATCHES? Come on Smackdown! SummerSlam is one of the biggest events of the year but one of the main events is a match we've seen 4 times already! How is that convincing people to buy the PPV? It's dumb. It's not a smart business move. And then Raw might have a rematch from MITB so that might be TWO rematches on one of the biggest cards of the year. I'm going to buy SummerSlam regardless because I'm an idiot but to other people who aren't, it might be hard to ante up the 45 bucks for matches that already happened. Well, I said my piece. Daniel Bryan is the only person who can save Smackdown from mediocrity. Who would have thought it would have came down to young master Bryan?

Here's my revised SummerSlam card following the Smackdown taping.
Cena/Punk/Mysterio
Miz/HHH
Christian/Orton V!
Truth/Morrison
Sheamus/Henry
Bryan/Barrett

Not a bad card if they get Miz/HHH, but no Rhodes or Del Rio yet which means it's going to be a bad PPV. Give me some feedback! Are you REALLY enjoying this whole Orton/Christian feud? Is Daniel Bryan Smackdown's only hope or am I overreacting? What's your dream SummerSlam card? Leave me feedback on here or on my Twitter.

Oh yeah, expect a couple different posts coming soon, like who I think are the Top 10 pro wrestlers of all time, my review of the phenomenal Catherine, my 10 favorite game moments, and some iCarly related list lol. All coming soon, I'll probably do one every Sunday or Monday, since those are my two days off.

Cena wins, but is he the champ?

Raw started off bad for me. Unfortunately, WWE gave Mysterio the WWE Title. I guess that's their way of keeping him in the company. Whatever, so Triple H announces Cena will get a match for the title and what happens? He wins of course. Ladies and gentlemen, with that title win, John Cena now has won the WWE Title MORE than ANYONE ELSE in the history of the company. How does that make everyone feel? He's won the belt more than some of the all time greats, like Austin, Hogan, and even his opponent at WM28, The Rock? That stat alone is going to be key when you discuss the greatest of all time when his career is over. And he's still got a LONG way to go. 9 WWE Title reigns for the kid. The real shocker of the night was the return of THE REAL WWE CHAMPION, CM PUNK! Along with some new music which I never heard until tonight. Anyway, what does this all mean? Is CM Punk back for good? If he is, is he the champion? And if he IS champion, will WWE count Mysterio's and Cena's recent title victories? Does this mean we get Punk/Cena 2? Not really 2 because they had like 10 matches this year but you get the point. I don't know if I want to see them wrestle again. SummerSlam is suppose to be the biggest party of the summer and if they wrestle and Orton/Christian wrestle, how is it so big? Two feuds that we have seen all year are the two big title matches at the 3rd biggest event of the year? I'm not buying it. I mean, I'll buy the PPV regardless but I digress.

What I say is they should throw Mysterio or Miz or both into the mix. NOW that's a SummerSlam main event. A Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way would be great, seeing how each one has a reason to be WWE Champion. It's in Triple H's hands now. If Miz isn't in the match, I'd like to see Miz/HHH. I know, it's farfetched but I gotta dream. So Raw started off on a bad note but ended on a high one. Once again, WWE has me craving to watch another Raw. At least I'll have Catherine to ease the wait until next Monday.

Alright, so after tonight, I can start putting together my SummerSlam card. Fair warning for anybody new to my blog; I'm SUPER crazy when it comes to predicting PPV cards and I'm usually wrong, but I've been known to knock one outta the park once in a while. Sorry that was a lie. Anyway, let's get started!

Punk/Cena/Mysterio - WWE Title - Punk/Cena won't be able to top their classic at MITB. Sorry, just not going to happen. They already wasted two SummerSlam main events on Raw tonight and with another Orton/Christian incoming, this is the only sensible choice. Who is really going to buy another PPV headlined by Punk/Cena and Orton/Christian. Me, but I'm only one person! Triple Threat please!

Orton/Christian V - World Title - Please please please let me be wrong on this one. I've already expressed how I feel about this feud and how uninteresting it is. Unfortunately, Orton isn't champion (never thought I would type that) so that means a lot of other possible great matches (RHODES/ORTON FOR THE FALL FEUD!) can't happen due to Smackdown's lack of faces. If the WWE Title isn't a Triple Threat match, than this should be. Throw Sheamus in the mix and give him the title darn it! MAKE IT HAPPEN! I'd rather see Punk/Cena II on PPV than Orton/Christian V. Just saying.

Miz/Triple H - Miz has already started berating Hunter and what better way to show that Triple H doesn't take any crap from anyone than to have a match with The Miz? I know this was one of the matches they wanted to have at Mania next year, or so I heard, but I wouldn't be upset if they did it at SummerSlam. It makes sense. They can't have Miz off of the SummerSlam card for the 2nd year in a row can they? Maybe they'll do Miz/Mysterio again if he doesn't get into the WWE Title match? I don't know, I'd rather see Miz/HHH.

Truth/Morrison - This has been brewing for a while and this is the only match I know FOR SURE will be on the card. Nothing else to say. Can't wait to see the match though.

As for the undercard, let's see. Ziggler/Bourne/Kingston, MAKE IT HAPPEN. Jackson/Henry, I know random. Del Rio/Riley? I don't know, I'm just guessing now. Rhodes/Bryan FINALLY on PPV, MAKE IT HAPPEN unless you want to throw Rhodes in the title picture right? Guess I'll wait to after the Smackdown taping to make revisions. Well, time to watch some 90s Nick!

10 Favorite Wrestlers of All-Time

So, I did my Top 10 games of all time and now I'm doing my favorite wrestlers. This won't be a list of the 10 BEST wrestlers, it's my favorite, so don't go crazy if you don't see Hogan, Flair, or Austin on the list. It's just wrestlers I have liked throughout the years. I guarantee most of you will not agree with this list but I'm alright with that. That's how The Modern Marvel rolls.

10. Razor Ramon - This guy is #2 on my list of greatest superstars who have never won the WWF/E Title. Razor had this look about him that just screamed WWE headliner but he never got that chance. Why is that? Everyone talks about HBK revolutionizing the Ladder match at WM X but wasn't it Razor Ramon who won the darn match? He had a lot of IC Title reigns, but no world title reign. Not ONE. Ramon's gimmick was great because it worked even if he was a heel or face, of course, it was the best with being a heel. Some of my favorite Ramon matches are the ladder matches with Michaels and his WWF Title match with Bret Hart WHICH he should have won. Razor Ramon was someone who I thought was super underrated. I'm glad he got his 4 IC Title reigns, but no KOTR, Royal Rumble, or WWF Title reigns at all? WWE seriously dropped with his character. I wonder what would of happened if they ever gave him the WWF Title?

9. Mr Perfect- Razor was #2 on the list and Perfect is #1 on the list for the greatest Superstar to have never won the WWF Title. Once again, why is that? He had EVERYTHING WWF looks for. He had a fantastic gimmick. Someone who's perfect at everything? Sign him up for a title reign. He was a great wrestler, easily one of the best of all time. He was literally perfection in the ring. My favorite match of Perfect's is the one he had against Bret Hart at Summerslam 91. That was a wrestling match. Mr. Perfect had his BEST matches against Bret Hart. So why is Perfect on my list? He's another superstar who I thought had it all. That's all. He was a crazy awesome performer who never got his time to shine. Here's another guy that WWF needed to push and didn't. If he would of got a WWF Title reign, I wonder how the Golden Age of wrestling would've changed.

8. Chris Jericho - I'll never forget when Jericho first came into the WWE. I had no idea who Jericho was beforehand because I didn't watch WCW and I wasn't the smark I am today. So when he made his debut and performed against The Rock on his first night, I loved it. Jericho has crazy charisma, but I didn't really start liking him until WM X8. Remember, I didn't watch wrestling during the Invasion, so I missed when Jericho climbed to the top of the mountain. After Wrestlemania though, I was a fan. I loved when he turned heel on Cena and had that great match with him at SummerSlam in 2005. I loved the return in 2007, even though everyone already knew who the promos were for. I marked out for Jericho when he was put into the Championship Scramble and actually won the World Title and when he shockingly beat Batista in a Cage match on Raw. Picking out my favorite Jericho match is pretty difficult. If I had to pick just ONE, it would definitely be Jericho/HBK from WM XIX. They had such chemistry together and it really was a perfect match between the two. The reason I like Jericho is because even though he went through a character change, he was still awesome. He's a great wrestler, great entertainer, and he just might be the best in the world at what he does. I'm patiently waiting for his 3rd coming.

7. Kurt Angle - Kurt Angle is the complete package. Fantastic wrestler, good on promos, and hard worker. His early matches with Jericho and Benoit were great, but his matches with Austin and Rock were even better. I'll never forget watching the Armageddon HIAC (not live) and Angle overcoming the odds to beat 5 of the top names in the WWF. Angle's feud with Lesnar is easily one of my favorite and they didn't have one bad match. The best Angle match I watched was probably the one he had with HBK at WM 21. Another perfect match. Great chemistry between the two and it just had a big match feeling to it. I wish Angle and Perfect were apart of the same era because I would have loved to see that match. So, why is Angle on the list? I like his in ring performance, his gimmick, and his dedication to the sport. Angle may no longer be with WWE, but I still respect him and I loved his matches he had with Samoa Joe. Kurt Angle was a heel who I couldn't hate because he backed up what he preached in the ring and not many heels can say that.

6. Wade Barrett - WHAT the heck is Master Barrett doing on this list you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Anybody who FIRES John Cena is going to be on my favorite wrestler list. The whole ballsyness (I know it's not a word) of WWE to have Barrett and his Nexus group take the main event of SummerSlam was a huge shock. Barrett is solely on this list because of the countless number of mark out moments I had because of him. Sheamus winning the WWE Title for the 2nd time, Barrett eliminating Cena from the 6 Pack Elimination match at NOC, Barrett beating Cena and making him join The Nexus, coming SO close to winning the WWE Title 3 times, the list goes on. Don't get me wrong, I like him for other reasons. He's pretty good in the ring, he's got the look of a future main eventer, and he can deliver a promo. I just wish WWE would give him the time in the main event like they did last year. He could be the breath of fresh air that Smackdown needs right now. My favorite Barrett match was against Cena at HIAC. There was so much on the line and it was actually a good match. To see Barrett overcome the odds of Cena was awesome. Overall though, Barrett could have a bright future in WWE. He already proved that on Raw. Anybody who beats Cena AND Orton deserves to get a World Title correct? Wade Barrett is the future of WWE.

5. Triple H - Triple H has the honor of being the first real heel whose band wagon I hoped onto. I still don't know what it was to this day, but I just liked him. I remember watching his matches against Cactus Jack in 2000 and being blown away. He upped his game to face Cactus and it paid off in the end. I remember when HHH turned his back on HBK in 2002 and I knew I would be a Triple H fan for life. I never pulled so hard for someone ever. Well, up to that point. I went ballistic when he lost to a roll up. A roll up! How could my favorite wrestler lose like that? So, why is Hunter on the list? Like I said before, he was the first heel I really liked and that was different for me. I always liked the faces so Triple H was something different. Favorite Triple H match was probably against Batista in the HIAC. It was violent, bloody, lengthy, and phenomenal. Triple H will go down as the first heel I ever liked and he will always hold a special place in my pro wrestling heart for that. I hope we haven't seen the last of HHH as I would love to see a Punk/HHH match sometime down the line.

4. Randy Orton- Ah, Randy Orton. What can I say about him? I marked out HARD when he won the IC Title. I was waiting for Orton to get his breakout performance ever since he joined Evolution. THEN, he went and had a 7 month reign and in it, had a crazy awesome match with Cactus Jack at Backlash. That really made Orton's career at that point. The first time Orton and Edge fought was great and when Orton lost, I flipped, but I said it right then and there; Orton would become World Champion by year's end. And what happened at the next PPV? He won the World Heavyweight Championship and became the youngest guy to do it. That was the first feeling of accomplishment I had with WWE. I followed this guy's career, cheered for him, and then he finally won the World Title he deserved. I loved it and was highly upset he only had a 28 day title reign. Orton has changed into a different character than he was in 2005, he's basically becoming one of the top faces in the company. My favorite Orton match was the Ironman match he had against Cena. The whole Cena/Orton feud wasn't as amazing as everyone thought it would be but their Ironman match was all over the place. A lot of victories for each man, it went a hour, (obviously) and we finally saw the FU reversed into a RKO. Fantastic match. I don't like him as much as I did when he started the Age of Orton but Orton will always be the first guy I followed from the start of his career and was very happy to see succeed. Long live the Age of Orton.

3. CM Punk - The WWE Champion is on the list and it's just not because of his recent exploits. I watched Punk every since he came to ECW and I wasn't sure if WWE was ever going to push the guy. Boy was I somewhat right. I always liked Punk, but he started to become a favorite when he feuded with that drug addict Jeff Hardy. He finally started to use that straight edge gimmick to berate the crowd and the crowd booed him, but they only booed because they knew he was RIGHT! Hardy could never comeback at Punk with anything worthwhile. He would just say he would beat Punk for the title, THAT'S IT! It was so satisfying to see Punk beat Hardy and make him quit WWE. Probably the best moment in 2009. Punk's transformation into the Straight Edge Messiah was awesome, but he never got the main event push WHEN he had it. It doesn't make any sense especially since WWE was trying to portray this PG era. Anyway, Punk's favorite match of mine was definitely this past Sunday's main event. He showed Vince that WWE needs Punk to survive and it's was match of the year so far. CM Punk is on this list because he's a marvelous wrestler, has a fantastic gimmick, and he's the best in WWE. Punk is what WWE needs to start a new era in professional wrestling.

2. Edge - On this day, I see clearly, I love that song! I was always a fan of Edge, but it was when he became The Rated R Superstar that I became a super fan. When he defeated Cena for the title, I marked OUT! I was sick and tired of Cena's reign of doom so seeing Edge not only rise to the top of the mountain, but end Cena's reign! I marked out extra HARD. Then, he went on to win 10 MORE World Titles. 10 MORE! After being in the tag division for most of his career, it was refreshing to see his rise in the singles division. So why is Edge on the list? I really don't know why. Was it because he beat Cena? Was it because of the gimmick? Was it because he was a good in ring performer? It's all these reasons and many more. I loved seeing Edge wrestle and I think everyone can agree with me that Edge had the BEST returns ever. At least on two occasions, he won the a World Title within a month of coming back. My favorite Edge match, probably against Undertaker at WM 24. It was a dream come true to see Edge main event Mania. It was a nightmare when I remembered who his opponent was. It's my favorite Wrestlemania main event of all time so that should give you some indication on how much I love the match. Overall, Edge was a fantastic WWE wrestler. His Rated R gimmick propelled him to the top of the list and the man had 11 World Title reigns. Edge took advantage of every opportunity given to him and I'm glad he did.

1. The Miz - Yes, the most must see WWE Champion of all time is my favorite wrestler of all time. Why? Because he has overcome all the odds against him. They told the man he would never succeed in pro wrestling, that he should just give up and do something else with his life, that he was wasting everyone's time, but he sure proved them wrong didn't he? I was a Miz-fit ever since he teamed with Morrison. That was the smartest thing WWE could've done with him. When he became a singles wrestler, I didn't know if he was going to make it because let's be honest; between him and Morrison, Morrison had the look and athleticism. They gave the push to The Miz and WWE once again made a smart move. When he won the US Title, I was ecstatic. He was becoming a top heel in the company and he was slowly working his way to the main event. When he won MITB, that was it. He's going to become to WWE Champion is all I could think of. And WWE teased the cash in and teased it and teased it and he finally cashed in on a Raw that I didn't get to see live. When I finally did watch it, I had a mark out moment unlike any other. Then, the man has a 6 month reign which included DEFEATING Cena at Wrestlemania in the main event. THAT is the mark out moment to beat. Even though I marked out when Punk won last week, it doesn't hold a candle to giving Cena his first one-on-one lost at Wrestlemania. Favorite Miz match would be against Morrison in that Falls Count Anywhere match on Raw. First match of the year and one of the best of the year. Morrision deserved to get his match the Royal Rumble instead of Orton but they still had a fantastic match. The Miz is my favorite wrestler because he's good on the mic and because he overcame all the odds against him. Miz deserved to be in the main event of Wrestlemania and there is NOTHING ANYBODY can say to me that will change my mind. Miz is my favorite wrestler of all time.

So there you go. Come back tomorrow for my after Raw post where Miz WILL defeat Rey Mysterio and become WWE Champion. 90s Nick starts tomorrow as well and then Catherine Tuesday morning!

Orton/Christian V is coming...

I'm done. Seriously. I'm sick and tired of these two fighting one another. Why haven't Rhodes, Barrett, or Sheamus been getting the World Title matches they deserve? Now that Christian has the title, the only person who can get a shot IS Orton, unless Bryan is going to get into the spot without using the MITB contract. I can't see it though. So, we're getting the Orton/Christian match-up at SummerSlam and I'm not happy about it. Could they please throw Sheamus into the mix? Please? I've been waiting for another Sheamus World Title reign since September. So please WWE, let Sheamus or Rhodes into the mix. An Orton/Rhodes feud during the fall would be FANTASTIC. Make it happen WWE, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Sin Cara has been suspended for drug use so that's another prospect Triple H has brought in that has failed this year. And this is the guy who is suppose to be running the show on television? Don't know if that was the best decision, but it's certainly refreshing to see someone else running the show.

So, on Monday, The Miz will face Rey Mysterio for the vacant WWE Title. I'm really looking forward to the match. I was hoping for a match at SummerSlam between the two, but they should still have a good match on Raw. Obviously, I'm pulling for The Miz to win his 2nd WWE Title because I couldn't stand Raw if Rey Mysterio was champion. Leave that crap on Smackdown. Whoever wins, will they finally get a new WWE Title. And with Triple H in charge, will he throw Cena into the mix? I'd rather see Cena as champion than Mysterio, seriously. What about the REAL WWE Champion CM Punk and Mr. Raw Money in the Bank Alberto Del Rio? So many questions but we have to wait until Monday for the answers. I'm rooting for the Era of Awesome to come back to Raw.

Catherine is FINALLY coming to the US on Tuesday. I seriously can't wait to play the full game. I instantly fell in love with the demo and I can't wait to experience the mature story. I'm still bummed that El Shaddai was pushed back, especially when they showed that AWESOME futuristic trailer a couple of days ago, but it should be worth the wait. It's going to be a great start to my week. Miz is going to become WWE Champion, 90s Nick is coming back, and I'm getting Catherine on Tuesday. I'm ready for it!

Vince is FIRED!

Well, on the past edition of Monday Night Raw, there was an 8 man tournament to determine a new WWE Champion. This Raw featured a lot of wrestling, the whole tournament was on Raw. There weren't any promos beside the opening and the ending. Just wrestling. I'm glad we got more wrestling than talking, but it's like WWE has read all the complaints about them and are NOW trying to change them. We don't like Orton and Cena as champion, well neither walked out of MITB with the title. The smarks like Daniel Bryan, he wins MITB. People complain there isn't enough wrestling on Raw, the whole show was basically matches. I'm glad Miz/Mysterio was pushed to next week. That was actually on my dream SummerSlam card this year, but I don't see a clean finish in this match. I have a feeling that we'll see Punk next week. Just a feeling.

The BIG news coming out of Raw is the fact that Triple H came out and told Vince that he is relived of his duties. Triple H is now running things. This is going to be very interesting. Triple H's first act of duty was to tell Cena he wasn't fired. Well what a shocker! Cena isn't fired! Who in the world saw that coming? So, does Cena magically get a title shot after next week's title match? Probably. Will CM Punk be resigned by Triple H and be crowned the actual champion? Where does Del Rio come in in all of this? Will we see a Fatal Four Way at SummerSlam? Does Vince receive a sendoff next week? So many questions and me with NO answers. The suspense is killing me. I can't wait until next Monday.

Did WWE really do it?

WWE Money in the Bank DELIVERED. The main event is EASILY match of the year. Let's break down the PPV.

Smackdown did it again. They have another good MITB match. Good performances from everyone, but Gabriel, no 450 of the top of the ladder? Come on kid. I liked seeing The Corre reunite for like 30 seconds and the chokeslam to Sheamus on the ladder was pretty nice. Great match but fantastic winner. Young Daniel Bryan shocks the wrestling world by winning the briefcase. He wasn't one of MY picks to win, but I'm not mad at the decision. Heck, I LOVE IT. I hope Bryan isn't the first to lose it though because THEN the match was for nothing. Great job Bryan, you'll be a World Champion soon enough.

K2 and Henry win in pointless matches. Henry injures Show, but where does he go from here? He has a heel champion on his brand so I don't think he'll be getting a title shot. We'll see.

CHRISTIAN'S CHAMP AGAIN! WOOOOOOOOO! The match was alright, certainly not better than the OTL match but it's really hard to beat that. I'm surprised we didn't see any RKOs in the match. I was hoping Orton would hit one and then Christian would finally kick out but that didn't happen. So where does Smackdown go from here? Christian/Orton V? Christian to having another 2 day reign? Is Bryan involved? Time will tell.

The main event had EVERYTHING I wanted it to have. The atmosphere was insane, Cena didn't get dominated and then come back, Punk almost went for the Pepsi Plunge, CENA LOST, everything I want in a WWE Title match. It's easily the best match WWE has put on the whole year and I hope this shows Vince that they NEED CM Punk. Who else right now can put on THAT good of a match with John Cena? Cena actually WRESTLED in that match? How many times have I typed that? All in all though, it was a FANTASTIC main event. Absolutely breathtaking. It actually went the distance and had a nice ending for CM Punk. Cena doesn't make him tap out like I originally thought. Punk gets the moment he deserves and I'm LOVING IT. Whatever happens with Punk tomorrow doesn't change tonight. Congrats CM Punk, you earned that WWE Title.

Daniel Bryan wins MITB, Christian is World Champion, and CM Punk leaves with the WWE Title. I think Vince finally realizes that WE WANT WRESTLING! Come back tomorrow for my Raw reaction post. I'll probably have another post before that, since I'm so happy for Punk. STRAIGHT EDGE WWE CHAMPION BABY!!!!

El Shaddai pushed back...

So the epic July 26th is now no more. El Shaddai aka one of my most anticipated titles of 2011 has been pushed back three weeks to August 16th. So I'll just be playing Catherine on the 26th now, which is probably a good thing. Two games in one day is pretty hefty on a McDonalds paycheck, especially when I don't get to keep all of my money and it gives me more time to just focus on one game. The main reason why I don't complete so many games is because I buy them in bulk. I usually wait until GameStop has the Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale and exploit the mess out of it. I had a coupon for said deal today and used it to get MLB 2K11, Fight Night Champion, and Bulletstorm. I wonder why they decided to push it back. Is it because Catherine releases the same day? Were they scared everyone was going to overlook it because its one of the most hyped games of the summer? Probably, but moving it three weeks later puts it in competition with No More Heroes on PS3, which is a more established series. It was lose-lose for them either way. I'm still getting both games regardless.

So it's a bitter sweet day today. I'll get a chance to focus on Catherine more on the 26th but that also means I'll probably beat it faster. Probably not because the game is so freaking hard. The plus is that the release is on the 16th, which is 2 days AFTER Summerslam aka two days after Del Rio beats Cena and three days hopefully after iLost My Mind. Here's hoping! Just read an article advertising iLost My Mind for the 13th, so it looks like I was right. Come back Sunday for my MITB reaction post!

My Top 10 Video Games of All-Time

Here's a list I've never done before, probably because it's too hard for me to pick just 10 or even remember 10 to be honest. I used to remember every game I played, but now, in my old age, not so much. I barely remember what happened in Dead Space 2 and I beat that like 5 months ago. Maybe because it's didn't have that much of an effect on me. Whatever the reason is, I've come up with ten video games that I love, games that made me a better gamer, and games that were just awesome to play. If you've just joined my blogging exploits, you should know my top three already, but now you'll know the seven that are behind them. Like I said on my Twitter, be prepared for Zelda, Final Fantasy, and of course, PERSONA!

10. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Ah, the first game I popped into my Nintendo 64 back on Christmas Day in 98. Good times. Can't believe that was almost 13 years ago. I remember playing this and not having any clue what to. Looking back at this game, it's easily the best video game ever made. Without this, I wonder where 3D action adventure games would be today? Everything about this game is fantastic. From the different environments to the epic boss fights, this game had it all. The time traveling storyline was a nice addition as well. I recently played this game again, just the first dungeon, and I'm sorry, it hasn't really aged well. Twilight Princess is the new OoT, but you can't deny that without this game, we wouldn't be able to enjoy some of the top games of today. This game also made me a lifelong Zelda fan and I blame my obsession with the series on this game solely.

9. Shenmue - This game is on the list simply because it was something different. When I played it, I had already played most of the top RPGs on PS1 and played both Zeldas on 64, so a game where I was walking around, talking to people about clues to who a person was, was refreshing for me. It wasn't the combat that made fall in love with the game either. It was just the fact of something different. I can't forget about the QTEs, which we would see in many popular video games to come. Unfortunately, the series never received it's deserved 3rd game, but I still have hope for it. A next gen Shenmue would make my dreams come true, but anyway, I love Shenmue because of the epic tale of revenge, the adventure aspect that was different, and the awesome battle/QTE sequences. If you haven't played the this game, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't regret it.

8. Baten Kaitos - Hey, it's the first turn based RPG on the list! And it certainly won't be the last. So, why is a strange game like Baten Kaitos on my top 10 list? Well, like Shenmue, it was different. Gamecube was horrible for RPGs, but we did get a few gems like this, Tales of Symphonia, and Paper Mario 2. So when a hardcore RPG loving Fatman hears that a new RPG was coming out for the GameCube, I had to get it. I even overlooked the fact that it had a card based battle system. I definitely made the right decision. The game blew me away and past EVERY expectation I had. Out of all the games I got for Christmas that year, I played this the most. Now, there were some faults in the game, don't get me wrong. The voice acting was SUPER TERRIBLE. It was so terrible that it made me laugh, only making the game better for me. The only other problem I had was that the game was sometimes too difficult. I remember getting into the first 3-on-3 battle (I don't want to name names as someone MAY be still playing this game) and that if you saved nearby, you would be stuck in the dungeon until you beat said three bosses. Doesn't sound much of a problem, but you could only level up from certain save spots and that save spot wasn't present in the dungeon of course. It was a hard battle too and it didn't help that you have to fight these 3 TWO MORE TIMES and the next time it's BACK-TO-BACK. Besides the hard boss battles and terrible voice acting, the game was awesome. The storyline had a lot of twists and turns, the game was STUNNING to look at, the music was fantastic, and battle became a lot of fun once you got use to them. This is definitely a nice little gem that you should pick up. Also, it's a LONG LONG adventure. Worth the 50 bucks my mom paid for it.

7. Final Fantasy Tactics - FFT wasn't my first trip into the crazy world of strategy role playing games, but it's definitely the best one I played. Shining Force will ALWAYS have a place in my gaming heart for introducing me to this genre and both games on Genesis we fantastic, but Tactics just took the formula and made it better. The story in the game is still incomprehensible even after playing it as an adult. I'm not a fan of government corruption in RPGs which is probably why I'm not a big fan of Final Fantasy XII. Anyway, that wasn't the reason I fell in love with FFT. It was the gameplay. Shocker! What this game did better than Shining Force was the class system. I know SF had different classes for each character, but I couldn't make the hero a monk if I wanted to. FFT took the job class system of many FF games before it and used it in a SRPG fashion. All the different job classes were actually too overwhelming for me when I was younger and I didn't understand how to get different ones. I didn't realize that they tell you in the game HOW to get different classes, but anyway, the job class system was awesome and it made every different file I played unique. I also loved the music in the game. Antipyretic, Trisection, and Night Theme are some of my favorites. The addition of Cloud and eventually Balthier was cool. I always like when games do crossovers like that. Anyway, FFT will go down as my favorite SPRG of all time for its gameplay, its job class system, and its fantastic music. I'm not a big fans of ANY of the sequels but the original is where its at.

6. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne - The first game I ever played in the SMT series. I'm going to be honest, I bought this game because it had Dante in it. I'm a turn based RPG lover, but seeing that Dante was in a RPG made me end up buying the game. It was a great decision on my part. When I first played the game, I honestly didn't know what I was staring at. It was so different than these traditional RPGs. It didn't have the traditional storyline, color, or story of say, the Final Fantasy series and that's why I loved it. Getting further and further in the same made me realize how hard this game was. It wasn't just the bosses like in Baten Kaitos but the WHOLE game was hard. I remember dying in normal battles many times. And don't get me started on bosses like Matador, Dante, and Lucifer. So, why like SMT: Nocturne? Like I said, it wasn't like other RPGs and for me, different is good. It had a great story that had 6 different endings, depending on your actions. It had some fantastic music in it. The battle/boss theme, the Dante theme, and many others were stuck in my head when I first played this. The demon negotiating and fusing was something different that I never experienced in a RPG. I remember just doing trial and error until I got something really powerful. And of course, the battle were awesome. It was traditional turn based RPG gameplay at its best. I loved the press turn system as well. Basically, if you hit an enemies weakness, you would get an extra turn, but if you hit the enemy with something it was strong against, you would lose all your turns. It's much more in depth and interesting than I'm making it sound, trust me. Nocturne is a classic on PS2. It's also pretty hard to find as well. If you got the money and a PS2, I strongly recommend playing this game. It's difficult, long, and a very very dark experience, but it's a fantastic post apocalyptic RPG that is different than other cookie cutter RPGs.

5. Final Fantasy IV - The 1st turn based Final Fantasy on the list. And I'm going to be honest with everyone, this will be the only one. So, why is this one on the list and not 6-8 or 10? In my opinion, Final Fantasy IV is just a more classic experience than the ones that followed it. Everything about it is classic. The story is the old and used boy doesn't know that he has to save the world but does it anyway, but there are a lot of interesting characters in the story to make it pretty good. The gameplay is nothing different from the first three FF games and there isn't a job system in the game, which I absolutely love. I know I praised the job system in FFT, but in turn based RPGs, I like just leveling up and getting new skills. I like very linear level systems in RPGs, call me crazy. Anyway, this game was fun, it wasn't too difficult, and I always felt like I knew where to go. My biggest gripe with the older FF was that they didn't have a sense of direction. I remember getting FF3 for DS and just walking around, talking to everybody, hoping someone would help me find where I was going. Not in FF4. There was a much bigger story than in past FF and that's probably the main reason this one is on my list more so than FF 6-10. It was the first of its kind and it wasn't confusing as 7, 8, or 10 was. No clones, someone who's already dead, or people who happened to live at the same orphanage and not remember it here. Just classic storyline, gameplay, and fun. Gotta love FF4.

4. Persona 4 - My favorite game from 2008, my favorite PS2 game, and my favorite game of the SMT series. Why though? Is it the amazing murder mystery story? The twists and turns in the story? The fantastic characters and the developments of said characters? The perfected turn based gameplay? The catchy tunes? Well, obviously, it's a combination of all these things. The story in the game is the best in the Persona series. The twists it takes are stunning and I love the real ending of the game. It was much better than Persona 3's depressing one. The characters feel real and are never annoying. Usually, there's always one playable character that's always a pain in the butt but not in this game. Everyone is loveable, from the hilarious Yosuke, to the sexually confused Kanji, to the lovable mascot turned human Teddy, there are some many interesting characters in this game. It's hard to pick just one. I swear, I was humming many of the songs in the game while I was in school. They are all so catchy but my favorite is The Almighty which is played when you face one of the last bosses in the game. The social links from 3 return but the best thing about social links is that when you get a party member's Social Link all the way up, their Personas evolve so it's like I control the whole development of my characters. I also like that you can become just friends with the girls in the game when you hit max OR you can do what I'm sure everyone did and date them all! The meat of Persona 4 is the gameplay and it's basically P3 all over again, but you can now control your party members. I think this makes the game a little easier, but the game is still pretty hard. Hell, ALL of the SMT games are, but it's never impossible. Persona 4 is a truly unforgettable experience. I know this wasn't the last PS2 game released, but it's definitely the swan song of the system. If you like RPGs, you'd be crazy to not pick this up. It's the last best JRPG to come out and that's saying something.

3. Breath of Fire 3 - Down to the top 3. Breath of Fire III is probably the first turn based RPG I really got into and that's why it's #3. I mean, I played all the Phantasy Stars on Genesis, but like I said, I NEVER EVER beat them. BOF3 though is a game I beat many times. The story is cliche but what JRPG from the 90s isn't? The characters are awesome. You really get a wide variety of different party members and there is a lot of variety with your party because of it. The gameplay is classic turn based combat. I like the fact you can learn moves from enemies. I remember facing those little nut troopers for hours trying to learn double strike from them. The battles were always fun and never difficult. I never felt like I would lose in this game, which I think is a bad thing, but whatever. The music in the game was crazy awesome. I'm not a fan of jazz but if more games included it like BOF3 did, then I would. Unfortunately, I don't own Breath of Fire 3 like I do my other top 10 ten, so my memories of the game are diminishing, but I do remember this being a fantastic game. The reason its in my top 3 is because it introduced me to the world of turn based RPG. Without this, there is no way I would have every played Persona 4, which changed my life forever.

2. Alundra - Alundra, until I played Nocturne, was the DARKEST game I ever played. When I first played it when I was 8, so imagine the kind of effect it had on me at that age. Why is this game #2? Why not? The story was awesome. It was definitely different. Going into peoples dreams? Sign me up! This game also messed my sleeping up because it scared me! Could dying in your dreams mean you die in real life? That's all I thought about when I laid down at night and it didn't help me sleep. I hope Catherine doesn't do that to me. Anyway, the gameplay can be described as a much more difficult Zelda. That's not necessarily a bad thing though because I think the difficulty makes it BETTER than Zelda. I never had a puzzle in Zelda stump me but Alundra had MANY puzzles that kept me at them for hours. Ice sliding puzzles, do I need to say more? I wasted HOURS pushing ice columns on icy surfaces. Anyway, the music was spot on for whatever situation you were in and did I mention that this game WAS DARK? You wash up in this village that's thriving with life, but like 15-30 hours into the game, most of the whole town is DEAD. They're dead from murders, accidents, and other crazy things happening in the village and Alundra is all to blame. It kills me to play through the game because I know a lot of people are going to die because of my actions. I think in the beginning there are 8-10 empty graves in the game. By the time you get prepared to go to the last dungeon, it's completely filled up. It made me filled depressed because no matter what I did, these people were going to die and I freaking loved it. This was the first time I felt emotion from a video game and that's why it's #2. Alundra taught me how to care in a video game and I love it because of that. It was also a fantastic game, though it borrowed heavily from Zelda, but it was still its own game. Alundra is available in the Playstation Store for 6 bucks. That's AN ABSOLUTE STEAL. If you have a PS3, but it IMMEDIATELY. You won't regret you're decision.

1. Castlevania Symphony of the Night - My favorite video game ever made. I've already touched bases on this game last week but I never get tired of talking about it! I played this game since it first came out and I haven't stopped. I play it yearly and beat it yearly and this is the ONLY game I can say that for. Why is it my #1 game of all time though? Because I keep coming back to it. I come back for the awesome music, many of the songs I have on my Mp3 player. I come back for the addictive Metroidvania gameplay. I come back for the beautiful graphics, which hold up almost 15 years later. I come back because THIS GAME IS AWESOME! Like I said, I play it yearly but you would think I would have it mastered right? Wrong! When I just beat it three weeks ago (in 3 hours and a half hours thank you very much) I found a weapon I didn't even know EXISTED. How can I play a game like a billion times, get 200.6% in it, and STILL not find this super awesome weapon? Because the game is AWESOME, that's why! SOTN is like a drug and I keep coming back to get a hit and I love it every time. I probably like the game so much because it has RPG elements. I guarantee if Metroid had level ups, I would be a HUGE Metroid fan. So, Castlevania is my favorite game of all time for a lot of reasons. It's addictive gameplay, its fantastic music, its beautiful environments, the surprises that I keep experiencing, and its pure fun. I have the most fun just playing this game. Castlevania SOTN is my favorite game of all time.

So there it is. What have we learned here today? I love RPGs, I have no life, and that I sure can type a lot. Thanks for reading and come on back on Sunday for my Money in the Bank reaction post! Let's Go Rhodes, Borune, and Punk!

Smackdown and my MITB Predictions

So this week on Smackdown, Sin Cara is going to defeat Sheamus, who is the hottest guy going into the Money in the Bank Ladder match this weekend. Way to kill his momentum WWE. I guess maybe that's there way to surprise their viewers. They probably think no one would expect a guy who's a former 2 time WWE Champion who just loss to Sin Cara as a guy who can win MITB. The most interesting thing I read from the taping was that Barrett laid out Sheamus. Could we see a Barrett/Sheamus feud soon or is this just WWE's way to hype up the MITB match? Makes you wonder. I'm sick to DEATH of Christian/Orton. It was great the first two times but it's just overkill now. Their match at Capitol Punishment was OK, but come on with the ending. Referee can't reverse the decision of a match, but Miz beat Cena twice in May for the WWE Title and what happened? Ref reversed the decision. Whatever, not the time to get into that. I don't think Sheamus should even be in MITB. The match at MITB should be a triple threat, but I digress. I like Christian and Orton, but if they wanted to keep this feud interesting, they would've had a couple specialty matches by now. I don't care what happens between these guys on Sunday, just as long as we don't get Orton/Christian V at SummerSlam.

WWE Money in the Bank is THIS SUNDAY. Like I've said in my previous post, this is my most anticipated PPV since Wrestlemania. It also has about as much hype as said PPV as well. The question is though, will it live up to the hype? Time for some Fatman predictions.

The opening contest will probably be Smackdown's MITB, probably because of the lack of star power in the match. To be honest though, I wouldn't be upset if the World Title match started the show either, but for argument's sake, I'm going with the MITB. I think this is the match to steal the show, just like last year. And just like last year, there's potential for most of the superstars in the match. Rhodes, Bryan, and Barrett all have beaten former World Champions in the past couple months and are looking for that something something to get them in the main event. The contract will do just that. Slater, Gabriel, and Cara are looking to make a name for themselves and a good performance in this match would definitely get the fans to recognize you. Kane and Sheamus are the only two former World Champions in this match and don't need MITB at all. Well, Kane does since he's slowly falling off the face of the Earth, but Sheamus really doesn't. He's going to get a title shot regardless of the outcome of this match. So, who wins Smackdown's MITB? I'm thinking a heel. Cody Rhodes is having a fantastic year, even though he was snubbed from the Rumble and the Chamber. His character change has helped him and he even beat Mysterio at Wrestlemania. A MITB win would make that year even better. Wade Barrett had a fantastic 2010, competing in 4 WWE Title matches, making John Cena join the Nexus and then firing him, and became the top heel on Raw. He hasn't had the same amount of success on Smackdown. He DID win the IC Title but he hasn't received any world title matches on the show. Barrett has the main event look and ability so a MITB win makes sense. Sheamus is the obvious pick to win, but like I said, he REALLY doesn't need it. I'm going with Rhodes or Barrett. I'd be alright if Bryan won. Just not Sheamus or Kane.

I like both Kelly Kelly and the Bellas, looks wise. Wrestling wise, I don't really care. K2 wins.

Mark Henry VS Big Show is a match that I thought they were going to hold off until SummerSlam, but I guess they couldn't wait any longer. I think there isn't going to be a clear winner, setting up for a big match at SummerSlam.

Christian/Orton IV. I'm done with the feud. It's going to be hard to top their OTL match but I'm expecting another good match between the two. I'm going with Orton to win but he better watch out for the MITB winner. History tends to repeat itself.

Raw's MITB is going to be awesome. Who wins this huge match? I'm hoping not Mysterio or Swagger. I don't even want Del Rio to win. HE'S #1 CONTENDER! Anybody else is fine. Riley and Kingston are long shots but it would be interesting to see them win. Miz won last year and he's a top guy on Raw so he doesn't need it. My two picks for the match are Evan Bourne and R-Truth. I know, Bourne will never succeed in WWE because WWE fails to use the great talent they have, but a man can dream right? I've always liked Bourne, but when he beat Jericho CLEANLY at F4W last year, I became a fan. It's a shame, he'll probably make the match for Raw, only to lose and not heard from until next year's MITB. R-Truth is slowly becoming one of my favs on Raw. He just got a WWE Title match and he did beat Cena two weeks ago, so he's got some momentum going into Sunday. Truth has more of a chance winning than Bourne, but once again, I can dream. Bourne's going to do it, mark my words. I just read that out loud to myself and laughed. That was a good one. Anyway, I'm expecting Bourne, Kingston, and Mysterio to have the most highlights in this match and I hope it's better than last year's average MITB match.

We all know what the main event of the show is. Punk/Cena for the WWE Title. Now, if the SD MITB doesn't steal the show, THIS will. Being Punk's 'last' match, he is going to go ALL out. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw the Pepsi Plunge on Sunday. I've already made several crazy predictions for this match, but, to be honest, anything could happen this Sunday. I see Cena getting Punk in the STF, having it locked in for like 5 minutes before Punk finally taps. I see Punk and Vince working together to screw Cena. I see a Cena heel turn involving Vince. There are a lot of different options for this match. It kind of makes you wonder why they didn't try to get Punk to sign an extension to SummerSlam. This will be much bigger than the Del Rio/Cena match up in my opinion. I also expect both to kick out of each others' finishers, but that's a given. So, what's the final verdict from The Modern Marvel? CM Punk defeats John Cena in Chicago, winning his first ever WWE Championship. I don't know what happens afterward, but Punk will beat Cena, BUT he won't walk out of Chicago as champion. That's all. I know I'm probably going to be wrong because WWE never shows any balls, but I can dream right?

Come back here LATE Sunday night for my reaction post. There will probably be a couple other posts before then.

OH yeah, has anyone seen The Rock's new promo? It sucks. The Rock just doesn't have it anymore and he's becoming SUCH a hypocrite. Anyway, the thing I most wanted to talk about was that he said he's going to meet Cena before Mania at the city that started it all, where they cheered for him for the very first time. Survivor Series 2011 takes places in Madison Square Garden. Could we see The Rock make another brief return there? Whatever happens, I'm still on Team Cena for Wrestlemania 28.

90s Nick returns!

I just had to post a short blog about TeenNick's new late night block called the 90s Are All That. All the shows from my childhood are coming back. Do I need to say anymore? The shows that started my Nickelodeon obsession are finally going to be put back on the air. While I'm excited to see shows like Kenan & Kel, All That, and Doug, I'm looking forward to seeing if they put on Are You Afraid of the Dark, Wild and Crazy Kids, and The Journey of Allen Strange. There's a lot of potential for this block and I hope eventually The 90s Are All That will become what Nick@Nite is to Nickelodeon. Maybe once it gets the ratings TeenNick wants right? This year just became that much better. Also, that WEEK became better. That starts Monday then I'm getting Catherine and El Shaddai the next day. That's going to be a good way to past the time to SummerSlam!

This may be the best year I've ever lived. Entertainment wise, I should say. Miz entered 2011 as WWE Champion, Miz and Ziggler had great performances in their title matches at Royal Rumble, Del Rio WON the RR, Cody Rhodes had a career breakout match, MIZ BEAT JOHN CENA AT WRESTLEMANIA, Sam kissed Freddie, making iCarly my most anticipated show since season 5 of Dexter, Michael Scott had a fantastic send off on The Office, Christian won his 1st World Title, Miz had an incredible 6 month reign as champion, I got to play Dead Space 2, Shadows of the Damned, LA Noire, and Mortal Kombat AKA four of the best games of the year for me, a black man got a WWE Title shot, CM Punk is proving he belongs in the main event scene, and of course, what I've said above. 2011 has been a fantastic year and it can only get better. August is going to be a great month too. iLost My Mind AND Summerslam will both be airing and how awesome would it be if iLMM aired on the 13th? That would be an awesome weekend. AND we still got Arkham City, Saints Row 3, Uncharted 3, Dead Island, Dark Souls, Sonic Generations, WWE 12, and SKYWARD SWORD ALL coming out later this year. And if I'm not mistaken, SR3, UC3, and WWE 12 ALL come out in November and knowing Nintendo, they'll release Zelda around the same time so November is DEFINITELY going to be the best month in gaming this year. Like I said, this year can only get better.

Thanks Nick for finally listening to your fans! Now, just make sure you don't stretch out this whole Seddie arc!

What happens this Sunday?

Ladies and gentlemen, I usually have a prediction for everything WWE does and heck, I do have one for this match that I've posted before, but to be honest, I don't even know anymore. I want to believe Punk will win, resign, and stay with WWE, but they JUST teased Del Rio/Cena on Raw tonight. That's gotta be the main event for SummerSlam. So, does Punk win the title only to lose to the MITB winner? If he stays with WWE, is that what HE really wants? Probably not. Does WWE just have Punk tap out to Cena and ride off into the sunset, never to be heard of again? There's too many scenarios for this match. This is just like the Barrett/Orton match from Survivor Series last year. The ball is in WWE's court again and they'll probably drop it AGAIN, but we'll have to wait until Sunday to find out. Even if CM Punk does leave WWE, I'm going to follow his career wherever he goes. He's easily become my favorite pro wrestler of all time. From his gimmick to his mic skills to his unreal work ethic, CM Punk has proved that he deserves to be the top guy in WWE. It's up to Vince now. Hopefully, he'll finally see Punk's potential now and not when he becomes TNA, ROH, or IWGP World Champion.

Who bets Money in the Bank will better than SummerSlam? This guy does. The only way SummerSlam will be better is if they have the dream card I put out a couple of posts ago, but like I've said before, TIME WILL TELL. I haven't been so excited for a PPV since Wrestlemania and we all know how THAT turned out. Will CM Punk leave with the WWE Title or will Cena send Punk packing with nothing OR will Punk win and stay with the company? I'm definitely buying Money in the Bank and it'll probably be the best purchase I've made ALL year. It's going to be a long week!

It Worked!

I'll never underestimate the powers of Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Many more people are checking me out and for that, I am grateful. Like I said in the last post, expect more things from me. Be sure to check my YouTube every once and a while. You never know what I'll end up posting on there, so be sure to keep an eye out. Follow me on Twitter for stupid posts about nothing. I'll also tweet when I post a new blog. As for the blog, I don't have any particular schedule when updating the blog, only for wrestling. So if you're a wrestling fan, be sure to check the blog after Raw, after the Smackdown taping, before a PPV and AFTER. As for video games, it's random. I'll talk about games I get from GameFly or games I buy (obviously). The next two games I'm getting will be on the 26th. I guess I'll do some best of list so you can really get to know what kind of gamer I am. For TV, I'll be HEAVILY talking about iCarly and Victorious, since those are the only two TV shows that I really like that air new episodes right now. And especially iCarly. I actually had a dream last night about iLost My Mind so I NEED for that episode to air. As for network TV shows, that's going to have to wait until September unfortunately.

Like I said before, keep an eye out. Since I'm not going back to work until next week, I have a lot of free time on my hands. That's a little hint hint if you didn't catch it. See you guys tomorrow after Raw.

Let me reintroduce myself...Part 3: Television

For anyone who's read my blog, I've barely gone into discussing television. I did back when Reaper was on and about to get canceled, but since then, I've haven't touched on the subject. That changes today!

The past 2010-11 TV schedule was pretty good. No Ordinary Family, Hellcats, The Event, Parks and Recreation, and The Office were some of my favorites from the past season. Unfortunately, only 2 of them are coming back for another season.

The Office is probably my favorite network show on TV. When they announced last year that this was going to be Steve Carell's final season, I almost didn't want new episodes to come on because that would mean the end of an era. The season was average at best, but Michael Scott's last episode was something to behold. It was full of classic Michael Scottness like not telling everyone he's actually leaving the office that day and not the next. All of the moments he shared with the employees was touching, especially Jim's and Pam's. Not going to lie, I actually almost cried when he uttered his last that's what she said. I'm still going to watch the show for its 8th season but it's definitely going to be weird. I know they got James Spader to kind of ease the transition the from Carell but I don't know if it's going to work though. Time will tell.

Another show I like is Dexter. I've been a fan of the show since season 2 and I haven't looked back. My favorite season of the show had to be the 2nd. Not only because that was the first season I watched, but because I loved Lila! She's my favorite antagonist that the series has produced so far. I loved the Ice Truck Killer, Trinity, and Miguel, but there's just something about Lila. Maybe because she is a sexy brunette? That's probably it. I'll never forget rooting for her and Dexter to get together. I guess that would be my first case of shipping. Anyway, I was so happy when Lila got rid of Doakes for Dexter but then Dexter had to go and kill her. He kills her and then Rita goes and dies later on. I still wish Dexter/Lila would have ended up together. Speaking of Rita's death, was that not one of the most shocking moments in television history? I'm glad I was a fan of the show BEFORE that happened because my good friend Brandon had that part spoiled for him and he has never been the same. Anyway, Dexter is my top 'adult' show on television.

Now, here it is. The moment everyone has been waiting for. I'm a huge fan of the Nickelodeon hit series iCarly. Yes, ICARLY. I'm 20 years old and I love it. It's funny, intelligent, and it's wacky. I actually like ALL of Dan Schneider's comedies to be honest. He hasn't made a bad show yet in my opinion. iCarly just continues that reign.

I've seen mostly every episode of the show and I'm proud of it. It's a good show. So what that it's on a kids' network? I see posts on my Facebook all the time, saying that they're watching Spongebob and no one gives them trouble of it, so why can't I say that I love iCarly? Well, I'm going to say it now, I LOVE ICARLY! I'm, just like millions of other fans, patiently waiting for iLost My Mind and can't wait to see what happens with this Seddie storyline arc. Oh yeah, I'm a Seddie shipper, have been since iKiss so I'm waiting to see if Freddie and Sam will get together. I'd like to see it. I think it would add an interesting dynamic to the show. I mean, let's be honest, it was bound to happen sooner or late. They're all teens and I think it would've been unrealistic for them to keep going on without touching on their romantic feelings. Freddie/Nathan Kress is a lucky guy. I would love to be able to work with the beautiful and talented Miss Jennette McCurdy. I'm going to be talking kindly about her due to her being my celebrity crush. Man, she gorgeous. Anyway, why do we have to wait ALL THE WAY to August to see this episode? I know Dan doesn't control when Nick airs it, but, dang! iOMG aired in April. We have to wait 4 months to see what happens next? How long is the wait going to be between iLost My Mind and iDate Sam and Freddie? 5 months? Time will tell I guess. Anyway, the main reason I like iCarly is because it doesn't take itself seriously at all. Sure, there were some touching or serious moments in the serious, like when Sam and Carly almost died in iQuit iCarly or when Carly's room burned down in iGot a Hot Room, but the crazy wacky episodes outweigh the serious ones. And no one iCarly episode has been so serious where it wasn't funny. That's another reason why I can't wait for the Seddie arc. It's going to be serious but you know it's going to have that iCarly humor that we all know and love. So there is, I'm a 20 year old, African American man who loves iCarly.

Let me reintroduce myself...Part 2: Pro wrestling

Well, now that I'm fully rested, I can talk about my other love; professional wrestling. Time to go back to my childhood, again.

I've been a pro wrestling fan as long as I remember, more so a WWF/E fan as long as I remember. I don't really remember too much from the golden age of wrestling, but I definitely remember the Attitude Era. Stone Cold, Rock, and Triple H were some of the wrestlers that I remember watching every week. Good times. I remember only being able to watch the 1st hour of Raw but always missing the main event. That stopped sometime in the 2000s. Anyway, I never really appreciated the wrestling and backstage aspects of it until I became older. The first big match I really remember was Austin/HBK from Wrestlemania 14. I remember that being the first PPV that my mother allowed me to watch all the way through. I even own the PPV on VHS, remember VHS? Anyway, I never knew how monumental that match would be.

I stopped watching wrestling sometime after Judgment Day 2000, right around the time Undertaker made his return to the WWF. I don't know what made me stop watching wrestling and I really don't remember that part of my childhood. From May 2000 to March 2002 is all a blur, wrestling and life wise. My brother was the one who got me back into it. It was for the match of a lifetime, Rock VS Hogan. After that, I knew I wasn't getting back out of it again. So I guess I'm more of a new generation wrestling fan than an old one. I've been watching it nonstop ever since.

Since watching wrestling, I've witnessed a lot of great wrestling moments. This is going to be the meat of the wrestling post today so get ready.

When Brock Lesnar first came in, I knew this guy was going to be a star. He just had that look about him. Anyway, when he won King of the Ring, I was on-board for a Lesnar title reign and that happened when he beat that villain The Rock. Summerslam 2002 in general was a great PPV memory for me. Angle/Mysterio, HBK/HHH, and of course the main event. Lesnar winning the title was the one of the first mark out moments I had. It was followed by my first reverse mark out (probably not the term) when Lesnar got screwed at Survivor Series 2002. I hated Big Show for it and I couldn't wait until he got his revenge. Anyway, Brock Lesnar can be considered my first favorite wrestler since I came back to watching wrestling.

Triple H was a wrestler I loved back in the Attitude Era and I loved seeing him absolutely dominate Raw in 2003. It sucked for other wrestlers, but Triple H having that 9 month reign as World Champion was the first long World Title reign I experienced and it prepared me for the others to come, like Cena's reign of doom. Anyway, it was a sight to behold in 2003.

Wrestlemania XIX and Vengeance were two really stand out PPVs that year. WM XIX is the closest to perfection at Mania as WWE will ever come. HBK/Jericho, Hogan/McMahon, Rock/Austin III, and Lesnar/Angle were all disgustingly awesome matches. It's hard to pick a match of the night with all those contenders. Vengeance 2003 was a total shocker. Guerrero/Benoit, WWE Tag Title match, Taker/Cena, Vince/Gowen, and the Triple Threat main event were all pretty good matches and it was super awesome compared to the abysmal performance Raw put on at Bad Blood. Those are two events from 2003 that I can watch over and over again.

Jump to 2004, No Way Out. Eddie Guerrero was receiving a title shot against my favorite, soon to be gone from WWE, Brock Lesnar. I just knew we were going to get Lesnar/Angle IV at WM XX, but it didn't make sense wrestling wise now that I think about it. I wasn't an Eddie Guerrero fan, so I flipped out when he beat Lesnar for the title. I just kept thinking, Smackdown's main event is going to suck but I was looking forward to the big Lesnar/Goldberg match. And by now, we know that those matches were reversed and by that I mean, Goldberg/Lesnar sucked while Guerrero/Angle basically stole the show. I didn't like Guerrero's reign as champion but I darn sure respect it.

The summer is usually referred to a drought for entertainment like TV and video games but the summer of 2004 was one of the best for WWE in my opinion. Why was that you ask? Randy Orton rose to super stardom during this period. Not to mention that Vengeance 2004 had two of the best one-on-one matches that year. Orton/Edge and Benoit/Triple H both told good stories and were fantastic back and forth contests. They both ended in suggestive ways, but the matches were good regardless. When Orton lose the IC Title to Edge, I just knew he was going to finally get that push to the main event afterward and I'll never forget when he won that #1 contendership battle royal. Then, he went on to beat Benoit at SummerSlam. Talk about a mark out moment. I never had a feeling like that while watching wrestling. To see someone who genuinely deserved a World Title match get into the title match and actually win on his first try was so satisfying. I wouldn't have a feeling like that again until 2006. Of course, he had a 28 day reign but he did win it. And it he won 7 more after this one.

2005 featured a couple of dream matches that lived up to the hype. Angle/HBK and then HBK/Hogan. Both matches were fantastic and stole the shows that they were apart of. Batista/Triple H had a really good feud that culminated to a fantastic Hell in a Cell match at Vengeance. John Cena started what would be his rise to mega stardom and begin a 9 month reign as WWE Champion, beating Angle, Jericho, JBL, and others in his first reign of doom. There weren't any real mark out moments for me this year as Orton was thwarted by Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Triple H lost to Batista three times this year, Cena beat EVERYONE, and Smackdown beat Raw at Survivor Series! Where were the mark out moments in 2005? I'll tell you, there were none. 2005 was a very boring year, mark out wise.

2006 started off with A BANG. In the same week, the two unstoppable World Champions lost their titles! Batista was legitimately injured and had to give his title up and Kurt Angle came over from Raw to win a battle royal and became World Champion, which was due to him for a while. On Raw though, Edge, who won MITB in 2005, FINALLY cashed in and won his first WWE Title. Edge's cash in was fantastic because I know everyone was sick to death of Cena and his winning ways, so WWE was right on point with the timing.

There are a lot of other great mark out moments from 2006-2011, like Cena getting injured and the start of the Age of Orton, Edge's dominance in the main event, the youth movement, and The Miz becoming one of the top stars in WWE. I don't feel like typing up the rest because I'm starting to ramble a bit. Well, one more post until you'll know me fully! Prepare to iCarly talk. I'm dead serious.

Let me reintroduce myself.... Part 1: Video games

Hello! For everyone who doesn't know by now, my name is Marcus Stephens AKA The Modern Marvel, The Holiest Man in Wrestling, FatmanStephens, Brother Marcus, and soon to be, The Bare Minimum. Now, if there is ANYONE who has been around since the beginning, you'll know that this isn't my first post as I've already done about 200 posts already chronicling all the way back to 2008. I just wanted to reintroduce myself as I might have new people from my Twitter/Facebook/Youtube accounts coming to check me out. THIS IS GOING TO BE A LOOOOONNNNGGGG POST. Fair warning!!!

As I've stated, I'm Marcus Stephens, currently unemployed fatman from Yeadon, Pennsylvania. I'm 20 years old, turning 21 in October. My biggest loves in life (outside of my love of Christ) are video games and pro wrestling. I guess I'll talk about gaming first.

Being born in 1990 meant that I already missed the original NES, Atari, and the glory days of arcades. The first system I REMEMBER playing was the Sega Genesis and it was neeto burrito! (Thanks Brandon!) The first game I played on the system was of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. I loved it and I play it yearly on the Ultimate Genesis Collection. If I ever made a Top 10 list of the best games I ever played, (which I'm going to eventually) there would be at least one Genesis title on there. Genesis is where I first played Beyond Oasis, one of my favorite action RPG. It's probably the first one I played as well. It was a relatively short game, but it was fantastic. Landstalker and Light Crusader are two others that come to mind when thinking of great action RPGs on the system. Genesis was also the first time I got a taste of the Shining series and I've been CRAVING a new SRPG from the series ever since. I can thank my brother and this series for getting me into RPGs. Also, I can't forget about the, dare I say, PHANTASTIC Phantasy Star series? Not the crap online ones, the original JRPG ones, PSIV is my fav of the series. I never beat any of them and that is definitely a goal of mine before I die. So, basically, without Sega Genesis, I would never have become a video game fan. I mean, but that goes without saying. Also, forgot to mention Sega Channel. We had Suburban Cable and I remember playing Sega Channel all the time in my youth. Saved my mother a lot of cash back in the day.

Super Nintendo was a system I barely gave much playtime to. I mean, I played the big titles from it like Link to the Past and Super Mario World, but I missed gems like Earthbound, Secret of Mana, and of course Super Mario RPG. I got a chance to play them like 10 years later though through an emulator. I don't think I could've handled all the those RPGs back then. I mean, I couldn't even beat Phantasy Star IV so what makes you think I could've beaten all of those fantastic games? I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I played Super Nintendo first instead of Genesis? Things I ponder at night. Anyway, Super Nintendo, great console, just didn't get into when it came out.

Playstation and Nintendo 64 was the first time I had the two big consoles at the same time, so I had to spread my gaming time out between the two of them while dealing with school. Hard life right?

I believe my brother and I received a Playstation first. I don't remember the first game I played but I remember going out to the Granite Run Mall and getting new games every month from the game store in there. I remember buying Fighting Force, Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time, and many other games from that store, but none of those games made me a big fan of video games. The first game I remember my brother playing was Final Fantasy VII and I was BLOWN away. I used to watch my brother play video games all the time and when he showed me FF7, I knew I had to play that game. I actually didn't get to REALLY play that game until I got my own PS1 and that was WAY down the line in my life., but I digress. Anyway, my brother continued to introduce me to the awesome games PS1 had to offer. FF8 and 9, Final Fantasy Tactics, and the game that changed my life FOREVER, Alundra. Alundra was a action RPG made by the now defunct Working Designs, who also made the last couple PS1 games I played, Arc the Lad 1-3. Anyway, that was another game I watched my brother play and I INSTANTLY fell in love with it. I saw him get to the very end and get stuck in the last dungeon. After he finally quit playing it, I started a new file and enjoyed the game until the end, where I also got stuck at the last dungeon. I would eventually beat Alundra, basically around the same time I finally finished FF7. Alundra is one of the three games from this era that I blame for my obsession with video games to this day. Another big game that my brother played in front of me was Breath of Fire 3. It's another game I had to wait until my brother was done with and play it on my own. It's classic turn based RPG mechanics, awesome soundtrack, and great story kept me coming back for more. Love the game and it's the only one of my favorites that I don't have easy access to today, going to have to change that eventually. The next game I'm about to name was a game that my brother didn't play first. This is a game series that I first discovered on Genesis and followed ever since and it happens to be my favorite game of all time. It is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night! I played it when it first came out and it's probably the game I've beaten the most to date. When I first played it, I beat it fairly easily, just running to the end and trying to beat the game and go to the next one, something I did a lot as a kid, not so much anymore. It wasn't until I was 16, almost 7 to 8 years later, that I found out there was a WHOLE other castle that I didn't even explore. THEN, it wasn't until I was 18 until I finally got 200.6% and thanks to Xbox 360, I have the achievement to prove it! It's the one game that I repay and complete yearly. I recently completed the game two weeks ago in 3 and a half hours and I'm STILL discovering secrets about the game. That's how I know it's a good game. I keep coming back to it and I'm still finding things to love about it 10 years later. It's my favorite game of all time. Playstation is my favorite system of all time. I really attribute PS1 for making me a life long hardcore gamer.

Nintendo 64 was a system I got for Christmas one year and I remember getting WCW VS NWO Revenge and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with it, two games I played the heck out of. OoT is probably the best game ever made in my opinion and it just was such a fantastic experience. Zelda wasn't the only reason I loved the system. I loved underrated games such as Mischief Makers, Winback, Hybrid Heaven, and the Bomberman games. And of course, my favorite Nintendo 64 game, PAPER FRICKING MARIO. It was the first Mario RPG I played and is probably my favorite. It was so fun to play and easy to pick up. It was a traditional RPG experience with the awesome Mario universe. Hard to beat this game. And of course, I can't forget Smash Bros. When I first got this game, I was outside with my friends, and when my mom said she got me something special, I ran in the house. She handed me Smash Bros, and I quickly told my friends that I'll see them some other day. Horrible friend, yes, but was it worth it? You bet it was! I LOVED that game. Looking at the newer Smash games, it really doesn't compare. There's only 14 characters and it gets repetitive pretty fast, but man, I loved that game. It really made my childhood. I don't have many more memories of the 64 to be honest. I think I put much more time into the PS1 and I think I made the right decision, seeing how many RPGs came out for the console.

Dreamcast, Dreamcast, Dreamcast. Dreamcast had Skies of Arcadia, Sonic Adventure, and Shenmue. Skies of Arcadia is fantastic, I'm still waiting for a sequel. The turn based battles were great, the ship battles were different, and I loved the characters. Such a great JRPG and probably one of the last great ones I played. Sonic Adventure was the first game I got for DC and I played heck out of it. I didn't have a VMU so every time I played it, I had to keep starting over from the beginning. One Sunday, I played Sonic's story from start to the end. I got to the last boss and DIED. Talk about a Black Sunday. Well, even if I did beat the boss, I would've been mad to find out that I didn't beat the game yet. Anyway, it was a great Sonic game and a good first 3D Sonic. Now, it's time to talk about SHENMUE. What can I say about this game? It's a freaking masterpiece. The story, the gameplay elements, the dialogue, the cliffhanger, the motorcycle sequences that made me not beat Shenmue in the week that Blockbuster allowed, everything about this game was fantastic. For people who haven't played it, go buy a Dreamcast and play this ASAP. Then, go buy a Xbox and buy Shenmue II as well. You won't be sorry. Shenmue is a game that everyone should experience.

I got a Playstation 2, then a Gamecube, then a Xbox. The first game I played on PS2 was Orphan. I hate that game now, especially because the last boss was such a darn cheat, but when I first picked it up, it was a masterpiece. This was another game I played without a memory card. Another Sunday came (Sunday were my hardcore gaming days before I found the Lord) and I decided I was going to beat the game in one sitting. I got pretty far, and of course, lost to a boss and had an absolute fit. It was the 2nd worst gaming day ever for me. I hated that the boss and got revenge when I finally got a memory card and defeated him. Anyway, it was fantastic game when I played it, I don't like it so much now. Orphan was just the start of my RPG addiction. I played many, MANY great RPGs the awesome little black box known as PS2. FFX, Dragon Quest 8, Wild Arms 4 and 5, the Shadow Hearts series, and my favorite RPG series of all time, Shin Megami Tensei. The obsession with this series started here with Nocturne and I haven't looked back since. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Persona 4 and if you want to read all my fanboy love for the game, go back to December 2009 on my blog. PS2 only fueled my RPG addiction and I loved every second of it.

When I got a Gamecube, I got Smash Bros Melee and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle along with it. Talk about a great way to start a console out. Melee was the best. It was the perfect party game to play. SA2 was something I already played on Dreamcast so I wasn't that excited to play it again. Gamecube wasn't really a RPG console, but it did have a couple RPG gems, more than the Xbox did. Tales of Symphonia was the first one I played. It was my real first taste of the Tales series and it was something I really never experienced before. All the RPGs I played were turned based, so to play a fighting game with RPG elements was new to me. I embraced it though and ended up loving the game. I remember that I got lost and put it down for 2 months but then came right back to it. This is one of the only games that got that treatment from me. Once I usually put a RPG down that's not beaten, that's it. It's a wrap. I'm never going to play it again. Don't know why I did it with this game, but not with Arc Rise Fantasia. Anyway, TOS was great. Paper Mario 2 came out on my birthday in 04. This game made my birthday. So much fun, more use of the paper elements, a lot of comedy like breaking the fourth wall, and very challenging. The last boss was a pain the butt area. Terrific game. Baten Kaitos is a weird RPG. The voice acting was horrendous, the turn based battles were hard to get use to, and the bosses were way too hard, but the game ended up being one of my favorites on the Gamecube. The music was amazing, the story had a lot of Namco twists and turns, and after a while, the battles became really fun. It was probably the biggest surprise of all my Gamecube games.

Xbox only had Shenmue II, which was another instant classic. Everything that made the first one a masterpiece was back in the 2nd one and I'm still waiting for the epic 3rd.

This generation of gaming has pretty solid. Dead Space and No More Heroes are two series that really stand out for me this generation. I have never been more scared playing Dead Space 1 and the original NMH is such a classic on the Wii. It was different, funny, original, and full of awesome characters. Suda51 at his best. JRPGs had a couple great titles come out early in this generation, like Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey. All of those great in different ways. Eternal Sonata had an interesting battle system, Vesperia's length and classic Tales gameplay was on full display, and Lost Odyssey went back to the good ole days of JRPGs. Time will only tell if we get anymore classics like those, but as it stands, JRPGs are basically dead. Can't wait for Tales of Graces F and if we get it, Tales of Xilla!

There are a lot of other games I played this generation, but I'm super tired and I think you've got a general idea of what kind of gamer I am. At least, I hope you do.

Well, that was part 1 of reintroducing myself to the internet. Part 2 will be wrestling and television shows! Expect a lot of banter about the bad guys of WWE and how great iCarly is. Yup, I typed iCarly. More later!

Did Vince give away the ending of the MITB PPV?

So, hopefully everyone has seen the amazing Cena/Vince promo that ended Raw this past week. The intensity of it was fantastic and it was pretty believable, but did Vince give away the ending for Money in the Bank? Everyone believes it's a given that Cena will beat Punk because his job is on the line but listen to what McMahon said. He said if Punk LEAVES CHICAGO with the WWE Title, Cena's fired. So, if Punk wins, but loses to the Raw MITB winner, then Cena's job is secured! Nice little loophole there WWE. And once again, WWE has a HUGE storyline that could go any way they want just like the whole Cena/Nexus one last summer. Will Cena lose to Punk, will Cena and Vince screw Punk, will the MITB winner be involved, will Del Rio get his shot at MITB? Lots of questions, gotta wait two weeks for the answers.

WWE Draft 2019 - Night Two Reaction

The 2019 WWE Draft is in the books and WOW, Monday Night Raw, while will definitely be viewed as the B Show going forward, looks freaking st...
