Well, it's official

Undertaker and Triple H will clash in a huge match at the Showcase of the Immortals. Will Triple H FINALLY end the streak? He has the best chance out of anyone who has ever faced Taker. Add the fact that Triple H has creative control over this storyline and you got a 18-1 Undertaker. I wouldn't be surprised if Miz, Del Rio, and Triple H all won at Mania and ushered in a new era in WWE. Well, forget Triple H, just Miz and Del Rio. The next era in WWE begins on April 3rd and it feature the top two young guys in the WWE. Can't wait.

Taker THEN Triple H?

2/21/11 WAS for The Undertaker but The Game Triple H came out after him and they had the most awesome stare-down of 2011. Well, it looks like the 3 main events are set. I still hope Cena/Miz end the show, but with the star power of Taker/HHH, who knows?

Predictable but enjoyable PPV

Well, Edge and Cena both won their respectable Chamber matches (Smackdown having the better one again) and the main events are currently Miz/Cena and Del Rio/Edge. Christian and Trish Stratus came back, Del Rio won a pointless match, and we have new tag champs. With Christian's return, will we get a Triple Threat match for the World Title? It would make sense, since Del Rio isn't a well known name. Christian would up the caliber of the match and it would make sense story line wise. Plus, it would make a potentially great match even better. Now, we just need to know what Taker is doing, and we got our 3 main events for Mania. What will be the show ender? Cena/Miz, even if HHH/Taker have a streak/career match, I want to see The Miz MAIN EVENT Wrestlemania, just to say I saw it. Well, this is going to be a long 42 days.

The Elimination Chamber

Tonight is the night. Two Chamber matches, Del Rio gets ready for Mania, and Miz defends against Jerry Lawler. Prediction time!

Either Miz/Lawler or the Raw Chamber match will start the show. I'm going with Miz/Lawler. Now, a couple of weeks ago, it was a sure thing that Miz was going to beat Lawler and go to Wrestlemania, but now that The Rock has come back and Lawler's mother passed, I wouldn't be surprised if Lawler was to win the belt tonight. I mean, Ziggler had a 10 minute reign, so why can't Lawler have a 1 day one? I'm still going with Miz for the win, with some assistance from Michael Cole.

Tag Titles up for grabs tonight. Hoping for Gabriel and Slater to get their 2nd tag title reign.

Hopefully, Del Rio and Kofi will be changed into an IC Title match. Otherwise, I don't care too much about this match. Del Rio is going win regardless, he has to. He's getting a World Title match at the biggest show of the year and the only way Kofi would get a victory is if he was being added to the main event, which is damn near impossible. Either way, Del Rio gets the victory.

The Raw chamber match. It's pretty predictable right? If they're going to do Cena/Miz, Cena needs to win, but I wouldn't be surprised to see JoMo get the victory. Could you imagine another fantastic Miz/Morrison match, but this time at Mania? Sounds like a dream come true. I'm going with Cena, but I'm expecting some kind of WWE swerve here or in the SD one.

The Smackdown chamber should be the show ender, it is for a title after all. Edge is now defending against 4 other guys, but that doesn't make any sense, since EVERY other chamber has had 6 guys. So, I guess we should be expecting a return tonight. Hopefully, from Captain Charisma right? If Christian does come back, it's going to come down to Edge/Christian. If it does, I got Christian for the win, but could they really let Edge's 11th REIGN as champion be only 5 days? Not likely. Whatever, either Edge/Christian will be winning this match, even though I would love to see Barrett or McIntyre win.

Well, there's tonight EC card. Not that many matches but a lot riding on each one. These matches shape the biggest card of the year. After tonight, we'll have our two main events for Wrestlemania, which I think is pretty exciting.

Excuse me...

but Dolph Ziggler WON THE WORLD TITLE! The 1st young guy of the year and certainly not the last. For 5 minutes, the World Champions were Miz and Ziggler. WOW, what a week it's been in WWE. Congrats Ziggler on your first World Title victory, even though it didn't last long. Del Rio and Barrett are up next!

The Rock HAS COME BACK!

It has happened! The Rock has returned to the WWE! What a night! The pop he got was amazing and I MARKED THE HELL OUT! Will Cena/Rock FINALLY happen now? It needs to happen! WOW, what a return. I called it last week and it actually happened. I'm having an amazing year wrestling wise. Del Rio won the Rumble, Ziggler is a main eventer, and now The Rock is back. I would really like to see Rock/Cena/Miz in some kind of match at WrestleMania. That's the money maker right there. What a moment in WWE. The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment is BACK!!!
EDIT: Well, 24 hours later and I'm still hyped. This opens up so many doors for this year's big event. I really can't see how Cena/Rock would happen. I don't think WWE would ruin Miz's push just to have one last match for the Rock. I know he's the most requested superstar ever but Miz is the future of the company. I'd rather see Rock beef with both of them then be the ref in their match. A Triple Threat could work too. The Past VS The Present VS The Future would be a good tagline. Now I'm pumped for Elimination Chamber. This is going to be an epid Road to WrestleMania!

Barrett/Taker cancelled?

There are rumors going around that the Barrett/Taker WM match has been canned. They're saying they want the Taker match to be the reason people buy Mania this year. So Barrett's out, who's left? Will Sting really face Taker? I don't want to see it personally, it's way too obvious Taker is going to win. Taker/HBK 3 then? Hope not, I think that's done with. Taker has proven that Mania is his sacred ground to HBK. Triple H? That kind of works. It's the two most experienced guys in the company, wrestling on the biggest stage of all. It could work, but I don't want to see that either. It's been done! My dream Taker WrestleMania matches are with Jericho, Sheamus, and John Cena. Cena and Miz is all but confirmed for Mania. Sheamus isn't doing anything and Jericho is MIA. Maybe it's The Rock? Rock/Taker would be epic. People would buy that for sure. I would love to see that, but it's probably going to be Triple H. Sucks to be Barrett. Went from almost being WWE Champion to almost having a career breakout match with Taker to probably some Corre/Nexus showdown. Corny.

A Guest Host for Mania?

Vince came on Monday/s edition of Raw to say that there will be a guest host for this year's WrestleMania and they will make the show even more monumental. Who could that be? Could we see The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment return and host this year's WrestleMania? You know how awesome it would be to see The Rock on the same show with The Miz defending against John Cena? THAT would be monumental. The Past, The Present, and The Future all represented. That would be crazy. It could be Justin Bieber, who is rumored to be in talks with WWE for WrestleMania. I swear to God if it's Bieber... I'm saying The Rock will be the guest host. He's got nothing else to do.

Both Chamber matches are set

At the Smackdown taping, Smackdown had a number of EC qualifier matches to determine who would be in the structure. Well, this year Edge will be defending his World Title against Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Kane, Wade Barrett, and Rey Mysterio. Not the match I called but alright. Where did McIntyre and Kane come from? Kane shouldn't even be allowed to have a title match after lasting 90 seconds in the Rumble. Whatever, WWE never does the right chamber matches.

It looks like Edge will retain his championship and go on to face Del Rio at WrestleMania. No heel will be facing Del Rio at the big event and Mysterio/Del Rio has been done about a billion times already so Edge is the only choice to win this match. I said the same thing last year with Sheamus, saying he or Triple H were the only people who could win for WrestleMania, but WWE fooled me there. I wouldn't put it past WWE to have Ziggler beat Edge next week on Smackdown then lose the title to Edge in the Chamber. Anything can happen in the WWE, remember that.

So we got 3 matches on the card right now and I don't know if I'm willing to shell out 45 bucks for the event. I mean, both chamber matches are WAY too predictable and Lawler/Miz isn't something I want to see. Ah, who am I kidding, I'm buying it. It's the PPV RIGHT before WrestleMania. Whatever happens there, is going to shape what happens at the big event.

Between the two chamber matches, Smackdown's should be the main event again, but who knows. If this PPV was placed somewhere else in the year, like in June where Fatal 4 Way is, I would automatically order this PPV. Why? Because I at least know someone different has a chance at winning. I mean, Edge has a chance to lose it to Ziggler and have a Triple Threat at Mania, but Ziggler AND Miz walking into WrestleMania as champion? Nah, that seems unlikely. Well, the wait until Elimination Chamber is short, we're only 17 days away then next stop; WrestleMania 27.
