Aw, man...

Wrestlemania XXVI is over and while it had the best card since WM XIX, it didn't deliver. Punk and Mysterio, Batista and Cena, and the MITB weren't given enough time, Hart/McMahon were given TOO much time, and the people I wanted to win didn't. I was pretty surprised with the length of the tag team match. 3 minutes? Why the hell was the match on the card at all? Orton did his job of making Legacy look good, even though he won. It's was good to see the Orton pose again. The MITB was the first shocker of the night. Jack Swagger was not my pick at all. I was hoping for a Christian or McIntrye victory, but hey, I'm all for putting Swagger in the main event scene. I don't know if he'll win using the briefcase, but I hope this permanently cements Swagger as a main eventer. Sheamus and Punk not winning pissed me off. I was sure that Sheamus was going to win to boost his career, but of course, Triple H buried another young guy at WM. Edge/Jericho was exactly what I thought it was going to be. A great one on one main event for the title and it looks like I was right with this one. I knew there was no way both titles could change hands. The shocking thing was that he won cleanly. I mean, he used the title belt, but he didn't get the pin from it. Good first match in their rivalry. Hart/McMahon was stupid. Cena/Batista was alright. Wasn't better than their SS match but an average main event for the WWE Title. It was pretty much a given that Hart would win, but I thought McMahon would get a couple of shots in. Ah, and the main event. As soon as I saw that Cena/Batista was the next match, I knew HBK was losing. I wanted to believe he could do it this year, but Taker's 18-0. (sigh). Well, Sheamus VS Undertaker next year, then Cena VS Taker, where Cena will make Taker tap for the first time in his career. It's a sad day in wrestling. HBK is retiring and WWE continues to shove Taker's unbelievable streak down our throats.
UPDATE: ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? There are reports going around that Jack Swagger cashed in his MITB contract on Jericho and won the World Title! I can't believe Raw lost one of their brightest and most talented stars!

Wrestlemania XXVI predictions time

Now that we have all 9 matches announced for WM 26, it's time that I do predictions in the order I believe they are going to happen in.

ShoMiz VS Truth and Wisdom
I don't like ShowMiz and I never really will. I like the Miz because he's awesome, but the team is corny. I was hoping for Miz to be in the MITB match or at least defend his title, but he has to be apart of this stupid tag team match. I could see a Morrison/Truth victory, so Miz can continue with his singles career and eventually get a WWE Title shot, while Big Show can leave for all I care.
Winner: Truth and Wisdom

Triple Threat Match; Orton/DiBiase/Rhodes
DiBiase and Rhodes first Mania match. It's basically going to be a handicap match, but I hope Orton makes these two looks good. If Orton can put these two over then we'll definitely see these two main event WM in the future. Of course, though, Orton will still win, but it won't be without a fight.
Winner: Randy Orton

CM Punk VS Mysterio
The first big match I'm really looking forward to. This, if given enough time, could be a show stealer. I don't really get a chance to watch SD, mainly because I work, but I saw the promo where Punk interrupted Rey's daughter's birthday celebration and I really believe that he's the best heel in the WWE right now. With the added stipulation if Mysterio loses, he joins the Straight Edge Society, I can't see a Punk victory, but of course, it's Wrestlemania, so anything can happen. I'm going with the Straight Edge Savior regardless.
Winner: The Straight Edge Savior, Cm Punk

MITB Ladder Match
CRIME CRIME CRIME!!! As of March 19th, Kofi Kingston, one of Raw's top midcarders is not on the card or in this match. A serious crime is being committed and if he's not in it, I'll be sorely disappointed. Anyway, of the nine men in this match, I can only see two winning and that's Christian or Drew McIntrye. I expect Bourne and Benjamin to do some crazy spots, and it should be a great last MITB at Wrestlemania. If I had to pick from the two, I would say Christian and then he cashes in that night against the winner of the Edge/Jericho match.
Winner: Christian

Triple H/Sheamus
Should be a good one. This is Sheamus' big chance to show that he belongs with the top dogs in WWE. This one isn't going to be pretty and it will probably end up being a brawl, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what Sheamus will bring to the table. I think Triple H is going to win, but I really want to see a Sheamus victory, so I'm going with Sheamus.
Winner: Sheamus

Bret VS Vince
Are you kidding? Bret all the way. I'm looking forward to seeing how this match will play out. I know it's going to be ugly, but I wonder how WWE will do this match. Will it be like the HBK/Vince match from WM22 where Bret basically dominates the match or will it be back and forth? I still think Bret will win regardless.
Winner: Bret

Chris Jericho VS Edge
Time for the main events. The last two years, the Royal Rumble winner hasn't won the title at Wrestlemania. And the title just changed hands at the last event. Also, at the last Wrestlemanias, there was always one world title that was retained, at least since 22. Since Cena is all but confirmed to win, this is the hardest match for me to pick from. I would love to see Edge as World champ so he could feud with CM Punk and Morrison in a couple of months, but I don't want the only reason Jericho became champion was to drop it to Edge. It's really stupid. This is a tough decision. I'm going to go with Edge winning.
Winner and new World Champion: Edge

HBK VS Undertaker: Career VS The Streak
The biggest match of the year, the biggest match of the post Attitude era, and the biggest match of HBK's career. I really can't decide between this and the WWE Title match on whether which one will be the main event but either one would be an acceptable main event. Last year, I went with HBK. The year before that, I went with Edge. I'm 0-2 with the Undertaker's matches the last two years, but that won't stop me from going with HBK again. I told my dad that if HBK lost this match, I would never go against Undertaker at Wrestlemania again. This should be another classic encounter between two of the WWE's greatest superstars. It really could go either way. I would rather see HBK win so we can see HBK go up against Punk, Morrison, and Sheamus in the future. It's going to be a show stealer. Look at it like this, if HBK loses, who else does Undertaker have to beat? At 27, he'll face Christian, Sheamus, or Jericho and once he beats them, he'll face CENA at 28. And do we really want Cena to be the one who ends the streak? Wouldn't you rather see someone on the same level as Taker be the one who ends the streak, not some young punk? I'm going with HBK. 17-1 this year Dead Man!
Winner: HBK

Cena VS Batista
This is going to be great. I'm liking the feud going into this match. I really don't like either one of these guys, but I respect them. With rumors of Batista retiring soon, and the fact that Cena has been beaten by Batista each time they faced each other, Cena HAS to win this match. It's not something I want to admit, but come on. If Drew wins the MITB and Cena wins the title, I think Drew is going to cash it in on Cena and lose. Someone has to lose with the MITB. Then, they can send all the kids home happy. If Taker and HBK main event, then no goes home happy, especially if HBK retires. So, I'm definitely going with Cena/Batista in the main event of WM26. It's about time this two met in the ME at Mania. It took 5 years, but it's finally happening. I'm still going with Cena
Winner: Cena

I can't wait until Wrestlemania XXVI. It's got a jam packed card with a lot of great one on one matches. No triple threat main event for the title and everyone's on the card (EXCEPT FOR KOFI!!!!!). This could be the best Mania in years. It beats out every WMs card and there's so much potential in each match. March 28th can't come fast enough.

Amazing week

Well, I got FF13 and I'm about 35 hours into it. It's a great game. Not the best FF game, but everything the game took out was needed. The battle system was the one thing I had my doubts on, but it really works. I'm in Ch.11 right now and I'm just doing side missions. I'm waiting for the hard ones to start pretty soon. I just got the mission with the giant cactuar and I hope that's a sign of missions to come. I also got a chance to finally play Bayonetta, which is one of my favorite actions games for the 360. It plays smoothly and Bayonetta is a pretty badass character. It's pretty over the top, but it's a seriously amazing game. I'm in Ch.5 of that. Great games, great games.

Bourne and McIntrye are both in the MITB and now that it will have 10 participants, Kofi Kingston is ALL but confirmed for the 10th and final spot. If he's not in it, then WWE are seriously tripping. If Kingston does get into the match, it's between him, McIntrye, and Christian. This is going to be a good WrestleMania. There is no triple threat main event in sight, and it's pretty much up in the air for the three big main events. Cena looks to be the favorite to win, but who knows. Edge looks to be the clear winner, but could he really win the title just two months after coming back? And of course, HBK/Taker could go either way. Will this really be HBK's last match or will Taker's streak end. And with the no DQ, no count-out stipulation, will we see some outside interference, maybe from HBK's best friend, Triple H? This 13 day wait is going to be hard.

FF13 is upon us

Well, ladies and gents, FF13 is only 3 days from being released in America and somehow, I don't know much of the game. I thought with the game being released in Japan, I was going to find out something that I didn't, but that hasn't been the case. There's still a chance though, as I'm going to the midnight release for the game. Yeah, this is my first midnight release. I'm 19, so it's all good. Plus, I'll probably be working that night, so I'm just going to stay at the job for another hour and then take the bus down to the Gamestop and get in line. I hope there aren't too many people there because a lot of people = spoilers. I'm pretty excited to play this game. I wonder if this will be my March game. Or will Resonance of Fate be better than this? Well, 3 days for FF13 and 10 for ROF (probably 11).

Well, Kingston is the only other person that should be put in the MITB match. Either him or Bourne, but Bourne got injured so Kofi is pretty much a lock to win. It's a crime that Morrison isn't in the match and it'll be a crime if Kofi isn't either. We're still waiting for the announcement of Sheamus/Triple H, CM Punk/Mysterio (which should start the show) and whatever Orton and Legacy are doing. With that, there will be nine matches on this super card. Of course, I'm expecting Edge/Jericho, Taker/HBK, and Punk/Mysterio to steal the show.

Deadly Premonition is an amazing game

It's a shame that IGN gave this game a 2. They obviously didn't even play the game. This game is one of my favorite games on 360, it's my GOTY right now. It's funny, confusing, and exciting to play. The Raincoat Killer sequences were pretty intense, reminded me of Indigo Prophecy. I like the boss fights in the game, but I'm upset they came in so late and that there were only three of them. The game's ending was pretty deep too. I didn't see the personality switch coming. I also didn't expect to see Emily die. Man, that was crazy. I also noticed that all the girls that died in the game were the first letters in the alphabet. Anna, Becky, Carol, Diane, and Emily. Coincidence? Probably not. Wow, 2010 has been good for games so far. I've had an excellent each month and this month is going to top them both. FF13, Resonance of Fate, and Strange Journey, all in one month. That's insane. April is pretty barren. I want to play Gears of Fantasy, I mean, Quantum Theory, but I'm not going to buy it. May brings Alan Wake, June brings Arc Rise Fantasia and Alpha Protocol, and July brings, well, nothing yet, but I'm sure something good will come out.

So, Bret/McMahon is now confirmed. I hope that the match isn't bad. Also, Sheamus/Triple is all BUT confirmed, so WM is looking pretty good. Can't wait. Batista has history on his side at Mania, since at the last 4 Manias, the WWE champion has retained the championship. Cena at 22 and 23, Orton at 24, and Triple H at 25. The World champion Jericho, history is not with him. Since WM20, the World title has always changed hands. Benoit from HHH at 20, Batista from HHH at 21, Mysterio from Angle at 22, Taker from Batista at 23, Taker from Edge at 24, and Cena from Edge at 25. The only time the World Title was retained was by Triple H at WM XIX. I like Edge, but I don't want Jericho to have won the title just to lose it to Edge. I rather have Cena win and Edge lose. Can't be having both titles change hands. That happened at the chamber.
