The PPV after WrestleMania. ER 2011 will see two major feuds end, a job end, and will see a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned. Pretty big event in my opinion. Let's get to it.
Rhodes/Mysterio will probably be the show opener. The match at Mania was pretty solid so I'm expecting another good match. With Mysterio going to Raw, this is the last time these two will square off. I'm pulling for Dashing to win here, so he can push his way to becoming one of the top heels on Smackdown and eventually, if Christian wins, get a World Title match. Dashing for the win.
The Country Whipping match. Meh, King and Lawler win.
Loser Leaves WWE match, Layla wins. It's a shame they had to break these girls up. I really liked the gimmick, even if it was a cheap shot at TNA's The Beautiful People.
One of the show stealers, Punk/Orton in a LMS. Orton got shipped to Smackdown so this is going to be their last encounter. If you're a betting man, Punk has to win. He has lost both matches they had this month. He has to get the final laugh, right? Wrong. This is face Randy Orton we're talking about. Superman is a better term for him. He's finally going to punt Punk and win the match, and probably, if Christian wins, start a feud with him. Or Rhodes. Either way, I see Orton winning.
Christian/Del Rio for the vacant World Title. Both guys deserve to win, but Del Rio deserves it more. This man has been told ALL year that he was going to be World Champion and that's the only way that people are going to see him as a big player in WWE. I understand he's on Raw now, but it's not like that haven't done cross brand matches in the past. Plus, if Christian wins, he'll just be winning because Edge retired, which would be the same as Mysterio winning for when Eddie died, and I hated that. So I don't want to be a hypocrite because I really like Christian. He should have BEEN World Champion, not ECW Champion. Either way, it's a win-win for me. Someone is going to win their first major World Title in WWE. Of course Christian has already won the NWA World Title, but I'm guessing WWE doesn't count that. I'm going with Del Rio.
Triple Threat main event, Miz/Cena/Morrison. I'm obviously going with Miz. Morrison is only in the match so Miz won't beat Cena again. They're probably going to continue the Miz/Cena feud until Over The Limit, where Cena will beat him there. Unless Morrison finally gets another one-on-one shot that he deserves. I don't know how Miz will do it, but he's walking out WWE Champion once again. The longest reigning WWE Champion in 3 years will continue his reign.
Come on back Sunday night for my reaction post for WWE Extreme Rules. Let's go Del Rio and Miz!

200th POST! More draft news!
Well, this is my 200th post on Blogger. I know I'm the only one who reads it, but I love doing this. It gets all my ideas, rants, etc all out there. IF there are ANY other readers out there, thanks for reading this horrible grammar and spelling.
Anyway, in WWE news, there were more draft picks and some were pretty big. Smackdown's big picks were Daniel Bryan, DiBiase, Tyson Kidd, and the United States Champion Sheamus. Smackdown is going to PROSPER with all this new talent. Bryan could feud with Rhodes in what could be an amazing series of matches, Sheamus/Christian could happen for the World Title, and Kidd and DiBiase might finally gets the pushes they deserve. Do I smell a Legacy reunion coming? Anyway, I fully expect Sheamus to be the top heel of the brand and to finally feud with the Undertaker eventually. Smackdown is going to be just fine now that they have Orton, Bryan, and Sheamus.
Raw's big picks were Swagger, Drew McIntyre, and Kofi Kingston. I'm only excited for McIntyre to be quite honest. I'm a big fan of his and I think a McIntyre/Cena feud is coming. That would really boost his career. Kofi helps fill the void of Orton leaving Raw and he should be a contender for Miz's WWE Title. Swagger, meh, I don't know. Raw's looking a little weak after the draft. There are WAY too many heels on the show with Miz, Punk, Del Rio, Swagger, Nexus and McIntyre. Somebody has to turn face pretty soon. I am looking forward to all the newcomers getting a chance to face Cena though. He can really push someone's career.
Smackdown is now in possession of both the Intercontinental and United States Titles. Is that a sign for Raw? If Del Rio wins at Extreme Rules, whoever wins the main event WILL be WWE Champion on Raw. Could it really happen? Once again, I'll have all my predictions for ER on Friday and SPOILERS, once again, I want Del Rio, Miz, Rhodes, and Punk to win, but I know Superman Orton is going to win and Mysterio needs to look strong going over to Raw, so I'm not optimistic for them. Come back on Friday for the predictions.
Overall, this draft was the most balanced of all the previous drafts. Smackdown was built up with some big stars in Orton and Sheamus and in up-and-comers in Bryan and DiBiase. Smackdown's future looks bright. Raw also benefited in the draft by getting an experienced veteran in Mysterio but also getting some of Smackdown's best young talent in Del Rio and McIntyre. Cena has a lot of new guys to run through now and it will be interesting to see who he faces first.

Bye Bye Cena and Orton! Oh wait, never mind...
The draft has fulfilled its sole purpose. WWE needed to fill the void that Edge left and boy did they do that. Smackdown got Mark Henry, Sin Cara, RANDY ORTON, AND JOHN CENA! They didn't just get one, they got two MAJOR faces. I knew one of those two were going but BOTH? Complete shock. Raw has gotten Mysterio, Big Show, Del Rio and JOHN CENA. They couldn't let me be happy for ONE second could they? I was all happy, having two of the biggest Supermen off of the top show so some of the young guys could shine, but of course Cena comes back to Raw. Anyway, Now that the draft is over, Raw's got some potentially awesome main events coming up. Miz/Mysterio, Mysterio/Cena, and Del Rio/Cena! Raw's main event is looking pretty good. SD's main event picture gets better. Christian/Rhodes, Rhodes/Orton, Christian/Orton, etc. I'm really looking forward to Rhodes/Christian. That should be a really stand out feud. Does the draft spoil Extreme Rules? With Del Rio on Raw now, Christian just has to win right? There's no way both World Title would be on the A-show right? I think it's time for WWE to do something different. Let's have both World Titles on one show. Let's see what happens. Well, who knows? I would love to see Del Rio and Miz both victorious at ER, but it's highly unlikely. Well, this only confirms that Del Rio/Cena is going to happen and I can't wait! Pretty good draft this year. I think it was much more balanced than previous years. This definitely shakes things up again.

Not liking these draft rumors!
There is talk that Del Rio and Miz are going to switch shows. I like both guys and all, but Del Rio running Raw this early? I don't know about that. I would like to see Del Rio on Raw, but I need Miz to be on Raw as well. He's my favorite wrestler right now and he belongs on the A show. If Del Rio goes to Raw now, they're going to immediately put him in a program with Cena, even though the two are suppose to main event Summerslam together. If Miz does end up going to Smackdown, does he become face? He'll only be facing Mysterio and Christian if he stays heel but as a face, he can feud with Jackson, Barrett, McIntyre, and Rhodes. I know they have plans to turn him face soon anyway, but let him and Cena finish their feud first. He just got the biggest heel victory of his life, let him enjoy it. I still think Miz will win at Extreme Rules and then Cena/Miz will end at Over The Limit. Hey, maybe Cena will jump ship and go to Smackdown, that way Del Rio can run the B show, and Miz can stay where he belong.
Hey, if everything goes right on May 1st, Miz, Del Rio, Sheamus, and Barrett will hold all the male single titles in WWE. That's going to be the best day of my life!

Now everything is right in the world
Morrison beat R-Truth on this past Raw to replace him in the WWE Title match at Extreme Rules, turning Truth heel in the process. That was great to see. Add that the match is now going to be in a Steel Cage, and WWE has themselves my 45 bucks. They also announced the draft will be on Monday AND that Punk/Orton will have a Last Man Standing match at ER. I'm guessing this will be Orton's last match as part of the Raw roster. I'm making the prediction that Orton gets shipped to Smackdown. They need a top babyface over on SD with Edge leaving and Raw isn't giving up Cena, so Orton is the next guy. Unfortunately, Raw doesn't have anything to gain in this draft. The only two people I'd like to see on Raw would be Rhodes or McIntyre, but they're both needed on SD. I'm sure WWE will swerve and do something crazy come Monday. Can't wait to see what it is.

Favorite match of all time?
As I was watching the 1st episode of Tough Enough, Stone Cold asked the girl what was her favorite match and she said Melina/Alicia Fox. After that, I started to wonder what my favorite match is. There are so many to choose from obviously, but can I narrow it down to one match? Hmmmm. Some matches that come to mind are Hart/Bulldog from SummerSlam, Hart/HBK from Mania 12, Taker/HBK from Mania 25, HBK/Angle Mania 21, Taker/Angle No Way Out 06 just to name a few, but my favorite is Rock/Hogan from WrestleMania 18. It wasn't as technically sound as any of the matches I listed, but the atmosphere is unable to describe. To see two of the biggest icons in professional wrestling face each other, was insane. The energy in that building was mostly for Hogan but that didn't stop Rocky from competing. It wasn't the wrestling that made the match, but the story behind it and that's what pro wrestling is all about isn't it? Hopefully, Cena and Rock will have that kind of atmosphere too and that will be the only day that I will be cheering for Cena. Just like Rock had to beat Hogan to help push his career, Cena needs to not only beat The Rock, but make him tap out. That's all I'm saying.
Oh, and I can't wait to see someone new finally win the World Title! Either Christian or Del Rio will win their first World Title on May 1st at Extreme Rules. Will Christian finally win the big one or will Del Rio finally reach his destiny and it's easily win-win for me. Can't wait!

Edge retiring? R-Truth is a #1 contender? The hell is going on?
Miz's next title match has been confirmed. He will defend against John Cena and R-Truth at Extreme Rules in a Triple Threat match. Yeah, not Morrison, Orton, Ziggler, or CM Punk, who was surprising absent from this past Raw, but R-TRUTH. The guy who hasn't been on TV in like a month. Where the hell did this push come from? I'm hoping this is WWE's way to keep the Miz's title reign going without getting over on Cena. It should be interesting to see what happens at Extreme Rules. R-Truth is like the first African-American to get a WWE Title shot IN YEARS. If he wins, he'll be the first one in 14 YEARS to win the WWE Title. 14 YEARS? Could R-Truth be the one?
Ladies and Gentlemen, Edge announced his retirement from professional wrestling on Raw. It's a surreal moment for me. Edge was one of the first heels that I came to generally mark out for. I will never EVER forget when he cashed in Money in the Bank on John Cena. That was one of my first ever mark out moments and still is one of my favorite. Now, 5 years later, he has held 11 World Title. That's unheard of. It's going to be really sad to see the Rated R Superstar go, especially since he's young wrestling wise. I'll never forget you Edge and you definitely are a top name for the Hall of Fame come Wrestlemania season. We'll miss you Edge.

Del Rio gets another shot
Wrestlemania didn't go so well for the 2011 Royal Rumble winner Alberto Del Rio. First of all, he was the opening match and the other thing, he didn't win. Not a good first impression. It's alright though, because in three weeks, Del Rio has another opportunity to win the title when he goes against the Rated R Superstar in a Ladder Match. The match type favors the champion, but Del Rio had a good performance back at TLC in December. So, does Del Rio win the title at Extreme Rules on May 1st? Most likely. The only reason Del Rio didn't win at Wrestlemania is because Miz won and they didn't want to have two new heel guys both win titles at their biggest event. If they were faces, they would be a different story ala Cena and Batista. Look, let's face it; Del Rio is here to stay. I know he lost at Wrestlemania, but the guy is main event worthy. He's got the look, the talent, and some mic skills. What else could you want from a World Champion? Del Rio WILL become World Champion sometime this year, I just don't know when. Extreme Rules is most likely, since Miz will probably be ending his 6 month reign as champion. And don't forget about Christian in this whole equation. What role will he play at Extreme Rules? Will we see Edge at the top of the ladder about to reach his title, only to have his friend Christian push him off? Or will Christian help Edge win THEN turn on him, or is this Christian heel turn just a big WWE tease? Probably the latter right? Well whatever, I'm going with Del Rio for every World Title match he is in this year. This guy HAS to win this title or like I said in my Mania predictions, WWE is just wasting our time with this guy, especially since you already have a great young heel in Wade Barrett who main evented 5 out of 6 PPVs last year. I mean, come on.
Who will be Miz's next opponent? With Edge/Del Rio already set, will we get a Miz/Cena rematch? I would rather they do a Fatal Four Elimination match and add Punk and Orton to the mix. With no Fatal Four Way PPV, I think they would work out the best. That way, if it came down to Miz/Cena, oh well, at least it wasn't a straight up rematch. Even though I'm loving the Miz's reign, I would love to see Punk finally win the WWE Title. Just don't let Orton or Cena win the title right now. I've had enough of those two at the moment. Forget the Fatal Four Way idea, what about Stone Cold Steve Austin? Tough Enough is back and what better way to promote it then to have the host get a WWE Title shot? He said in a recent interview that he could wrestle again, so why doesn't he give it a shot? They already started to tease it and it would be awesome to see the Rattlesnake have another match. Miz/Stone Cold would be a great match at the Extreme Rules PPV. I bet Stone Cold would win, but hey, the guy's a legend. Well, who knows? It's still, what, three weeks away so anything can happen.

Well, it will happen
Ladies and gentlemen, The Rock will face John Cena..... at WrestleMania XXVIII. April 1st, 2012 will see the biggest dream match since Rock/Hogan. The Rock will indeed face John Cena in this era's biggest match. Ironically, it takes place 10 years after the last generation clash happened. Is that sign of things to come for The Rock? Well, it's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG wait until the next WrestleMania.

Not WWE's best effort but MIZ BEATS CENA!
Wrestlemania 27 isn't going to win any awards for being a great show. It was alright but could have been so much more. Del Rio's push was ruined, hoping for some type of title match tomorrow on Raw, Rhodes/Mysterio and Punk/Orton were average Mania matches. Cole/Lawler got their job done. Triple H/Taker obviously stole the show, but DAMN he kicked out of 3 Pedigrees AND a TombStone? That's too much. I know it's his event and all but COME ON. All of these things don't compare to the result of the main event. Yes, I've been saying it for weeks and it HAPPENED! MIZ BEAT CENA! MIZ BEAT CENA! MIZ BEAT CENA! MIZ BEAT CENA! MIZ BEAT CENA!
