Punk and Bryan retain!

In what was a somewhat shaky PPV, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan both retained their World Championships, which means the two indy stars will defend their titles at the WWE's biggest event, Wrestlemania! Jericho was never really eliminated from Raw's Chamber, which was a good thing. WWE didn't want Punk or Jericho to pin one another before Mania, I like it. It makes Jericho/Punk fresh for Wrestlemania. Other than that, the Raw chamber was kind of forgettable. Smackdown's on the other hand, is one I will never forget because it's the match that Santino Marella almost became World Heavyweight Champion. In the match, Marella pinned BOTH Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett. Are you serious? The future of the WWE? Pinned by this comic relief character? Really? Anyway, the crowd was HOT and wanted to see the upset of a lifetime, but it wasn't to be as Bryan finally got the victory. Sheamus made a brief appearance, setting up a clash with Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania. I don't think it's just going to be those two though. Orton has to be inserted into the match somehow, especially since Bryan technically took him out of the match with the title shot this past Raw. And I don't think Barrett and Orton are done yet, so better book a Fatal Four Way for Wrestlemania, seeing how we haven't had a Fatal Four Way for a World Title in about a year or so. Good setup for Mania.

Cena gets the obvious victory over Kane and now looks forward to facing The Rock at Wrestlemania in less than 6 weeks. I don't think it should have been main event, but neither Chamber match felt like it should have closed the show either. Maybe the Divas Title match? Anyway, good last PPV match for John Cena, it's time to be on Team Cenation now.

After tonight, we have some of the top matches for Wrestlemania brewing. Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan in some form are our title matches, Triple H/Taker is unfortunately all but confirmed, and of course we have Rock and Cena. Both title matches have some REAL potential this year, much better than last year's and the undercard should be really solid with the return of the MITB and whatever Rhodes does; either facing Marella or Goldust. Wrestlemania 28 should be a good show, let's just see if WWE puts these matches in motion.

Elimination Chamber predictions

The last PPV before Wrestlemania, Elimination Chamber. A lot of questions going into this PPV, like will we get an appearance from either Triple H or Undertaker, who will Sheamus face at Wrestlemania for his title shot, and will either World Champion survive? Let's break it down.

Tamina Snuka VS Beth Phoenix could be a really good Divas match. Tamina is getting her shot at the wrong time though. With the return of Kharma at the Royal Rumble, Phoenix/Kharma is all but confirmed, which can't happen if Tamina beats Phoenix. Phoenix retains to set up the biggest Divas match since Phoenix/James/Natalya.

Smackdown's Chamber will be the first of the two. Why? Because the competitors are a freaking joke. The Great Khali AND Santino Marella? REALLY? Is Christian that injured? They can't just let Orton come out last? What about surprises like Del Rio? Could he pull an Edge ala NWO 2009? Anyway, the other 4 are pretty good for this match and it's down to those 4 guys to walk out as World Champion. Take Big Show out because of the rumors of him having a match with Shaq at Mania and you're down to Bryan, Rhodes, and Barrett. The young guns. One of these guys will likely go on to defend the title against Sheamus at Wrestlemania. If Bryan retains, it would a rematch from last year's Mania. They had a dark match together last year and how ironic would it be for them to have a World Title match at the Mania the year after. Sheamus/Bryan would be a great match. If Rhodes were to win, he would make history being the World Champion and IC Champion at the same time. Rhodes/Sheamus has potential to be a great match, but I don't think Rhodes walking into Wrestlemania as World Champion is possible this year. Maybe for Wrestlemania XXIX? If Barrett won, I'm sure Bryan would be furious and try to get his rematch, which would set up a triple threat between Bryan/Barrett/Sheamus which is the match I've predicted. Barrett/Sheamus one-on-one wouldn't have the in ring technical skill of a Bryan/Sheamus but it could still be a very good big man match-up. Barrett has the best chance this Sunday to walk out as World Champion thanks to Orton getting injured. I'm going with Wade Barrett to FINALLY win a World Championship at the Elimination Chamber and who knows? Maybe we'll get either a Triple Threat or a Fatal Four Way with Orton involved? When's the last time they did a Fatal Four Way for a World Title at Mania? 2000?

Cena is going to absolutely DESTROY Kane this Sunday. He has to. John Cena is 6 weeks away from the biggest match of his career and if he doesn't beat Kane, he doesn't stand a chance against The Rock at Wrestlemania XXVIII. To be honest, I can see this being a total squash match to make Cena look as good as possible heading into the biggest event of his life. There is no discussion, Cena will defeat Kane this Sunday.

Raw's Chamber match is different this year. None of this guys look like they could be WWE Champion. They're all barely over the 240 pound range. Times sure have changed huh? Let's get real, the only two options in this match are CM Punk and Chris Jericho. The other 4 will probably be involved in the MITB match at Wrestlemania. So, does WWE take the title off of Punk and give it to Jericho? It's much better to see the face chase the heel for the title and it's especially good for Wrestlemania. Punk has just hit the 90 day mark for his reign. I would like to see him hold onto the title for a little longer, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho won. It hurts for me to type this but I'm going with Chris Jericho to walk out of the Elimination Chamber with the WWE Championship. Sorry Punk, you had a good reign, you'll win it again.

So there you go! After this PPV, all the stars will be aligned for the show of shows on April 1st. Can't wait to see how the Road to Wrestlemania paves out! Let's go Barrett and Jericho!

Just needed an outlet

THIS IS NOT A WRESTLING/VIDEO GAME POST! JUST A FATMAN GETTING HIS THOUGHTS OUT!

People have always told me that you shouldn't keep your emotions bottled up because it could be bad for your health. Well, hold my feelings in no longer. I'm about to drop a CM Punk produced PIPEBOMB about my job at the McDonalds in Holmes, PA.

That store is a freaking joke. Everyone there are hypocrites, everyone there can't be trusted, and everyone there will turn on you as long as it benefits themselves. I'm sick and tired of it. When I left back in June, I left feeling that I was appreciated and knowing that if things didn't work out, I could always come back and start moving up the ladder, until I got my life on track. When I came back, it took them 2 MONTHS to even talk about me becoming a crew trainer, which is the next step up from McDonalds slave. I really believe they wanted me to be a crew trainer only because my girlfriend/fiancé pushed for them to move me up. After four months of not showing any interest, they took me off the list, which is fine, but then they chose 6 others to become crew trainers as well. I'm fine with this because with that promotion comes a stank ass attitude that I refuse to deal with.

I've been at this particular job for 2 and a half years. I've made some friends and I've definitely made some enemies now. When they first started giving crew trainer jobs out, most of the people who got them were friends of mine. After they got the promotion, they changed. They started barking orders and becoming snooty. Like McDonalds was THEIR store, like the job REALLY mattered. Even my fiancé's attitude around the job changed. They all carried themselves like they were better than everyone else and still do to this day. That they are the best of the best. The best of the best at making little to no money anyway but I digress. Point is, the attitude of the shirt/promotion was something I didn't want to deal with.

Another thing was the fact that I was probably going to make the jump to mornings if I took said promotions. I'm a night owl through and freaking through and me being at that place at 8 or 9 in the morning scares the living crap out of me, plus I refuse to learn more about the store for the same amount of money, call me crazy, I just won't do it. And the morning crew think they are God's gift to McDonalds. And they hold grudges as well. They are currently having a war with some elderly people who come in all the time AKA they are having a war with LOYAL CUSTOMERS! If they put all that effort into something more productive, like, I don't know, cleaning the damn store or actually realizing that people like me deserve more than what they get, I wouldn't be typing this pointless and long entry. And pure laziness kicked in as well. I just had started going out with the love of my life so excuse me for being a little distracted.

The 6 people that are going to become crew trainers all have different issues, but I like all of them. Already though, the red is going to their heads. That's a saying my manager said because the crew trainer shirt is red at the job. Anyway, they already have ego problems and think they're better than everyone else so I guess they're just getting ready for the inevitable. Here's a funny story; one of the potential crew trainers undermined a manager's authority, got sent home, and just got a talking to the next day. Another employee did the same thing, but got suspended for it. I guess they didn't want to suspend the favorite. I also wonder if it had anything to do with the potential crew trainer being white and the other employee being black? Probably because that job is racist as hell, but that's a whole other rant for a whole different day.

Favoritism is all around that damn store. When I first started, I was a favorite. I came in every time I was scheduled, I stayed late, I even came in when there was a God dang BLIZZARD! They loved me, I had them in the palms of my hands. What happened you ask? Well, as I continued to work there, my innocent card began to fade away. Also, I left them high and dry back in June, but I did come back so they can't hold that against me. I think the main reason why I'm not a favorite is because of the woman that I've chosen to be with. If you read my end of the year blog post, you know I'm dating a co-worker of mine and she's a veteran of McDonalds, but she's also known to having some attitude problems. I think when they saw me pursue her, they also saw that I wasn't the innocent Brother Marcus they had believed me to be. Whatever, I'm glad that they see me for what I truly am. I never tried to mask what I was, but they just got a certain image of me in their heads that I couldn't erase for a year and a half. It's funny, it took them a year and a half to get the image and it took barely 2 months for it to completely vanish. And by them, I mean the genius management team at McDonalds.

Look, I don't want this to come across as sour grapes, (CM Punk anyone) because I'm not scornful over the fact that I was overlooked for a promotion. It was my fault, I should haven taken more initiative and actually showed that I cared. Basically, I should've kissed more ass and been fake. I'm just fed up with all the crap and I just wanted to get some things off my chest. I definitely have a lot more, but I'm just going to stop and relax. I had this whole CM Punk is to me as WWE is to Holmes McDonalds, but maybe that will come later. Thanks for reading and never come to Holmes McDonalds for food.
