WWE Over the Limit is on Sunday! As of right now, there are 6 matches on the card with 1 or 2 more being added tonight on Smackdown or at the PPV. Let's get started!
The Tag Title match should probably open the show. Punk and Ryan has showed tension in the past couple of months and it might finally culminate at OTL. Ryan is definitely going to be a power player on Raw someday and feuding with CM Punk could be just what he needs to get that push started. I could see New Nexus winning, but it's unlikely. I'm going with Big Show and Kane.
Kiss My Foot match. Lawler FINALLY wins, let's end this feud please.
Chavo VS Sin Cara could be a really good match. They've been getting good reviews from their matches at house shows but let's see if they can perform on a higher level. If the match does happen, Sin Cara wins.
Brie VS Kelly for Divas Title could be a last minute match. So, this is what the divas division has come to, Brie and Kelly, facing for the title. Brie wins with the Kharma interference at the end.
Barrett VS Jackson should be a fare match. I'm expecting A LOT of interference from The Corre but I think that will all lead to an Ezekiel Jackson victory, finally letting Barrett compete in the main event.
Truth VS Mysterio. I can't wait to see this. I'm loving the whole Truth heel turn and this is the first step to make him a legit heel. Mysterio has done his part in pushing the young guys (i.e Cody Rhodes) and he needs to do the same with Truth. I'm going with Truth in this one. Maybe we'll see some Del Rio interference?
Orton VS Christian will probably steal the show. Not probably, most definitely. I don't know about you, but I don't see a clean finish for this match. If Orton beats Christian cleanly, what's next for Christian? Something has to happen in this match, like Sheamus or Henry interfering or maybe even a Christian heel turn. Orton will leave OTL with the title, I just don't know if he beats Christian or if there is some kind of DQ.
And the main event, the (probably) last match in the Cena/Miz saga. An I Quit match, or as my friend put it, a Cena wins match. Cena has beaten JBL, Orton, and Batista in this match and he's going to add Miz's name to that list come this Sunday. I think Miz has a master plan and he has overcome ALL the odds put in front of him but none as big as this. He ended Cena's undefeated single match streak at Mania but I don't know if he'll end his undefeated streak in I Quit matches. I'm going with Cena and Over the Limit will be another PPV where all the good guys wins.
Well, those are my predictions. Where the hell are Del Rio and Cody Rhodes on this card? Rhodes had a break out performance at Mania and Extreme Rules and now he's not on the card at all. Same with Del Rio. The man WON the Royal Rumble then had two back to back World Title matches and now he's nowhere to be found. I guess the most we'll see from them is interference or backstage promos. That's horrible. And I picked one of those guys to be the next young guy to be the World Champ. I'll have my reaction post right after OTL is over.
Rest in Peace Macho Man Randy Savage. The Tower of power, too sweet to be sour, funky like a monkey, space is the place, MACHO MAN! Hall of Fame 2012 without a doubt.
