What happens this Sunday?

Ladies and gentlemen, I usually have a prediction for everything WWE does and heck, I do have one for this match that I've posted before, but to be honest, I don't even know anymore. I want to believe Punk will win, resign, and stay with WWE, but they JUST teased Del Rio/Cena on Raw tonight. That's gotta be the main event for SummerSlam. So, does Punk win the title only to lose to the MITB winner? If he stays with WWE, is that what HE really wants? Probably not. Does WWE just have Punk tap out to Cena and ride off into the sunset, never to be heard of again? There's too many scenarios for this match. This is just like the Barrett/Orton match from Survivor Series last year. The ball is in WWE's court again and they'll probably drop it AGAIN, but we'll have to wait until Sunday to find out. Even if CM Punk does leave WWE, I'm going to follow his career wherever he goes. He's easily become my favorite pro wrestler of all time. From his gimmick to his mic skills to his unreal work ethic, CM Punk has proved that he deserves to be the top guy in WWE. It's up to Vince now. Hopefully, he'll finally see Punk's potential now and not when he becomes TNA, ROH, or IWGP World Champion.

Who bets Money in the Bank will better than SummerSlam? This guy does. The only way SummerSlam will be better is if they have the dream card I put out a couple of posts ago, but like I've said before, TIME WILL TELL. I haven't been so excited for a PPV since Wrestlemania and we all know how THAT turned out. Will CM Punk leave with the WWE Title or will Cena send Punk packing with nothing OR will Punk win and stay with the company? I'm definitely buying Money in the Bank and it'll probably be the best purchase I've made ALL year. It's going to be a long week!

  1. M.I.T.B has the potential to be ppv of the year. But only if WWE creative team allows it to be. I do see CM Punk losing to Cena and riding off into the sunset. I do however see CM Punk returning somewhere down the line. With that being said, I dont see Cena walking out of Chicago with the WWE championship due to the fact that ALBERTO DEL RIO will cash in his newly won money on the bank breifcase and finally fulfill his destiny of becoming WWE Champion. Thats how I see it all panning out. But we shall see. Only time will tell. I already have the ppv pre-ordered. Can't wait till Sunday

  2. I'm all for Del Rio winning the WWE Title, but does he really need MITB? I think MITB is more for guys who can't get WWE Title shots on their own or who wouldn't be able to beat superman Cena in a one on one match. Del Rio can actually beat Cena, but someone like Truth? Not without help. Also, Del Rio DID win that #1 Contender shot last week. Could Vince, after Cena beats Punk, send Del Rio out to face Cena out of anger and he becomes champion that way? Hey, that's how they set up Batista/Cena at WrestleMania. And at least that way, Truth/Bourne/Miz or whoever wins MITB can carry the briefcase around and add suspense to Raw that we had last year and we can guarantee Del Rio/Cena at Summerslam, which is the money match right now.

  3. I just cant picture anybody else outside of ADR that can win that match. The only other realistic pick is probably R-truth. I dont think Miz can win back to back and Evan Bourne just isn't ready for prime time yet. But so far on all the wrestling sites, Alberto seems to be the popular pick to win. I dont really care for the Raw match anyway. I'm more interested in Smackdowns money in the bank match. The smackdown guys will steal the show. TRUST ME! Watch out for Botch Cara. This match is talior made for him to show off all that potential. Now that match is wide open. Its a toss up between Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, or Wade Barrett. But Raw is lacking main event title contenders for John Cena. It is time for Del-Rio to step up, and possibly for some underrated talent such as Dolph and Drew as well. Somebody gotta fill that void that CM Punk is leaving.

  4. I agree with EVERYTHING you said about SD's MITB. That's my 2nd favorite match on the card. And I agree that's it time for Del Rio to step it up, but he doesn't need MITB to do that. He already has his feuds on Smackdown to show that he can be in the main event so a MITB victory is pointless to me. I'm not saying that Del Rio doesn't deserve to win MITB because he's easily the most deserving guy in the match, but, he JUST won a #1 Contender match. Why would WWE have him win that then have him do it again against 7 other guys? Del Rio will probably walk out of Chicago with his first WWE Title, but not because of MITB. I could be wrong, I usually am, but I just don't want to see Del Rio walk out with the MITB briefcase. Truth needs it so much more.
