On Smackdown this week. Mark Henry is going to win a #1 contender battle royal. It's about darn time. Now it makes sense why Christian lost. Even though I'm happy for Henry, I'm really happy for Rhodes. Apparently, there is going to be a Rhodes/Orton promo at the start of Smackdown. I'm more looking forward to that than Henry winning to be honest. Could we finally get a Rhodes/Orton feud? I don't think WWE is going to wait 5 weeks for the Orton/Henry showdown, so there's still hope for others on Smackdown. And we can't forget about Sheamus. He already said that his feud with Henry isn't over so we won't see Orton/Henry at Night of Champions. Maybe a Triple Threat? Or a Fatal Four Way with Christian? Who knows, it's way too far to predict right now. I'm just happy that Rhodes will finally be doing something with Orton. Could we see a Champion VS Champion match at Night of Champions? What a better match to have than a Champion VS Champion at a PPV all about champions? Make it happen WWE!

To be honest, I would love to see a fatal four way. All of the guys you mentioned are very deserving. But a plain Orton/Henry fued doesn't have me jumping out of my seat right now. It just seems lethargic to say the least. I'm really worried about Christian. He actually made a good champion and he was a entertaining heel. If this one on one championship match stays put, where does Christian stand. I truly doubt he wants to go back to the mid card. And after the success he edured ever since edge retired, I don't blame him. Smackdown is almost confusing as Raw. It makes me wonder do the SD writers know what they are doing. But we shall see. We both know that Henry doesn't have a shot in hell of beating Randy, so after night of champions, expect the Mark henry push to come to a end because Orton is the golden boy and he is not going to take a backseat to anybody. But yeah make it a fatal four way. Brings more intrigue to The world title picture.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Christian take The Miz's route and push a younger guy. Could you imagine a Christian/Gabriel or a Christian/Bryan feud?
