WWE TLC won't be remembered for being the best WWE PPV. The slow Ladder match, the pointless Divas and Sheamus/Swagger match, and the VERY short World Title match all held this PPV down, BUT there were some pretty awesome moments. The TLC match was pretty solid, the surprise tag match was alright, Rhodes/Booker was alright, and Barrett/Orton did their thing. The two reasons everyone will remember this PPV are simple; we got TWO new young champions in the WWE. First, Zack Ryder FINALLY achieved what he set out to do, he won the United States Championship in a good opening match. I thought the ending was a little anti-climatic but I'm really happy for Ryder. He worked hard, he made his own gimmick, and he got the WWE Universe to recognize him and it paid off. Congratulations Zack Ryder, the future is bright for you. Now it's time for Ziggler to move up the card and start contending for the WWE Title.
The 2nd reason is because Daniel Bryan FINALLY cashed in his MITB contract and became the NEW World Heavyweight Champion! God heard my prayer! Friday on Twitter, I asked God to make Bryan/Barrett for the World Title at the Royal Rumble and the first step has been taken! Anyway, it's good to see Bryan finally win the title and he deserved it. Bryan is the breath of fresh air needed on Smackdown. We can now see Bryan/Rhodes, Bryan/Barrett, and my favorite, a Wrestlemania caliber match, Orton/Bryan. God, I can't wait!
I'm going to Raw tomorrow as it's in Philadelphia! Look out for me, I'll be the fat black guy wearing the best in the world t-shirt! Once again, congrats to Zack Ryder and Daniel Bryan on winning championship gold! The future is bright for the WWE. Wait, Daniel Bryan AND CM Punk are both World Championship in the WWE. The Internet must be going INSANE!
