Payback 2015 talk

Like I did with my Extreme Rules 2015 post, I'm not going to do a full blown predictions post because I really don't care too much for the show. Let's go into it.

So, there's 7 matches on the main card. Cena and Rusev will have their last match in a Cena Wins match. Cena will win obviously. We need the US Open to keep happening. He's been doing his thing, putting on great matches each week with several different talents. Ryback and Wyatt do battle in a different type of match. I'm a huge Wyatt fan so I'm pulling for him but I feel like this is WWE's way to push Ryback again. I think Ryback gets the nod. Sheamus/Ziggler and Neville/Barrett are both rematches from ER so I think the heels, who both loss, will get the wins this time. We also get a pointless Divas Tag match. I hate that Nikki won't be defending her title on the event. Like, why are you champion? One of the best matches on the show will definitely be the confrontation between Cesaro/Kidd and The New Day. It's a rematch but this time, it's 2/3 Falls. It should a great contest as their ER match was pretty awesome. The main event though is the the match I will have all eyes on.

Seth Rollins won the title thanks to his MITB briefcase. If you know the history of the briefcase winners, you'll know that many of those who cashed in and won the title, usually don't hold onto the belts for long. Ziggler, Punk and Bryan didn't have long reigns. Rollins is coming up on 2 months with the belt, which means, it's just about time for him to lose the belt. I can see WWE doing a quick title change with them having a surprise WWE Network PPV in 2 weeks. Who would get the title though? Ambrose is super over right now and him being added to the match at the last minute, strange. It could all be leading to Ambrose winning his first World Title. It would then mean Ambrose/Rollins at EC and eventually, a triple threat with Reigns in the summer. I'm all for either member of The Shield walking out victorious. I've been onboard with a Reigns title run for awhile now. He's been looking hot ever since his lost to at Mania. He puts on an absolute star performance at Extreme Rules and it could finally get him the title he should have won at Wrestlemania. Fatal Four Way are always interesting when you don't know what's coming next so it's going to be exciting to see which way WWE is going to go.

Payback is obviously a filler PPV, one that could potentially be a good show. We shall see
