Well, the Slammys were underwhelming AGAIN this year, but we got a crazy awesome Fatal 4 Way between Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Zack Ryder, and Dolph Ziggler. The match got a lot of time and the young guns gave it their all. Ziggler got the victory but all the guys deserve credit for putting on such a fantastic contest.
Masked Kane returning was HUGE, especially because I didn't expect him back so soon and him attacking Cena was a surprise as well. Guess he's going back to the monster Kane we all knew and loved back in the day. Not a Kane fan but it's good to see some familiar faces back in the company.
So, word going around the InterWeb is that WWE has set on 3 main events for Wrestlemania this year. Obviously, we have the dream match of John Cena facing The Rock. WWE has also apparently penciled in CM Punk facing Chris Jericho, a match I wanted to see since Punk started calling himself the Best in the World. That's a Wrestlemania quality match and it would certainly be a show stealer. The 3rd match isn't something I want to see AGAIN at Wrestlemania. The report also states that Triple H will try AGAIN to end the streak of The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 28. Really? REALLY? The man kicked out of 3 Pedigrees and a Tombstone! Triple H, I beg of you, PLEASE don't make us sit through ANOTHER match between you and Taker. Yes, it probably would be good but we've seen it at Mania already! Why can't someone like Miz, Sheamus, or Barrett try to take on the streak? If they're going to do a rematch, I would like to see Randy Orton try again. Taker has yet to face this version of Randy Orton and I think as far as star power, Orton's the only guy who everyone would want to see face Taker. I guess the World Title match will be taking the backseat AGAIN in 2012's Show of Shows?
Am I crazy? Do you people want to see The Undertaker face Triple H AGAIN at Wrestlemania 28? Or is there a better opponent for him like Randy Orton or Mark Henry?

I think the popular pick for Taker to face at Mania would be Kane. I myself would love to see either Sheamus or Barrett step up to the plate but due to the fact that Sheamus is a face and starting to really get over with fans, Wwe officials would want a top heel in that slot. So ur on the money with Barrett or Miz. But oh god! I refuse to sit through another HHH/Taker match. I honestly don't think they would be able to top themselves from last years match. And apparently if you missed HHH' s interview on RAW, he already believes he ended the streak due to the fact that Taker wasn't able to walk out under his own power. I guess somebody forgot to remind him that he tapped out lol. But anyway I would for a young heel to get that slot. Make it happen WWE.
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 Pedigrees and a Tombstone, I don't think there's anything HHH can do to BEAT Taker. I agree with you though, I miss the days when a young heel or young guy in general, got a shot at Undertaker at Wrestlemania. It really helped Orton and Edge's careers facing the Deadman. I still have hope for an Orton/Taker match!
