Battleground talk and such

WWE Battleground is Sunday. (Sigh) It's more like Night of Champions Part II. To be honest, the match I'm looking forward to most is the tag match featuring the Rhodes boys VS Reigns & Rollings. Though RVD/Del Rio will most likely steal the show and Orton/Bryan will be another good showing between the two but storyline wise, I'm already heavily invested in this and as the WWE Title picture starts to focus on bringing back Orton's despicable side, I'm just more focused this. I really care about Rhodes getting back into the WWE so I'm all in for this match. I see all the main events having wacky and bizarre endings.

Punk/Ryback is just WWE's way of continuing this Punk/Heyman feud. Ryback has the WWE look but I'm just bored with him. I would like to see a Ryback/Sheamus feud eventually and that's probably when I'll start to be a fan of his. Or if he FINALLY feuds with Barrett. Speaking of Barrett, I would have really loved if Barrett was the one working with Heyman. It would have been the big push the guy needs. And they're talking about repackaging the guy so why not put him with Heyman? Makes sense to me. Anyway, I don't think Punk's getting the victory this Sunday but what's going to be next for the feud? Are they really going to do Punk/Ryback AGAIN in the HIAC? I hope not. However this goes, I'm sure Punk will eventually come out on top and most likely will be back in the title hunt for Wrestlemania season. Who knows? We might be treated to a clash at the Royal Rumble with Punk and Bryan becoming the last two two, fighting for a shot to main event Mania. Anything can happen....

RVD/Del Rio has another interesting storyline going. RVD is, of course, a part time superstar which means his schedule doesn't really reflect that of a full time like Del Rio, meaning if RVD does win, it doesn't mean he'll hold it long. That being said, it would only mean that Mr. Money in the Bank Damien Sandow would cash in and win the World Title. There's a rumor going around that RVD's short term contract is almost up which probably tells you he won't win. If he does win, Sandow would cash in shortly after but the problem with that is the fact that that just happened at SummerSlam! Del Rio has been a fighting champion, believe me, but what's left for him? I would like to see Rhodes/Del Rio or Del Rio/Christian again but that doesn't look likely. If Sandow is to cash in, would he turn face in the process? Hmmmmmm.......

The main event. Someone is going to win the WWE Title. Bryan, for a 3rd time or Orton, for an 8th. Crazy. Big Show is most likely going to play a role in the outcome of the match. Will Show redeem himself or prove to be a corporate lackey? That's it!

It should be a good lead PPV into HIAC. It should be awesome
